Baxter Q-operator from quantum K-theory

We define and study the quantum equivariant $K$-theory of cotangent bundles over Grassmannians. For every tautological bundle in the $K$-theory we define its one-parametric deformation, referred to as quantum tautological bundle. We prove that the spectrum of operators of quantum multiplication by these quantum classes is governed by the Bethe ansatz equations for the inhomogeneous $XXZ$ spin chain. In addition, we prove that each such operator corresponds to the universal elements of quantum group $\mathcal{U}_{\hbar}(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$. In particular, we identify the Baxter operator for the $XXZ$ spin chain with the operator of quantum multiplication by the exterior algebra tautological bundle. The explicit universal combinatorial formula for this operator is found. The relation between quantum line bundles and quantum dynamical Weyl group is shown.

qKZ/tRS Duality via Quantum K-Theoretic Counts

We show that normalized quantum K-theoretic vertex functions for cotangent bundles of partial flag varieties are the eigenfunctions of quantum trigonometric Ruijsenaars-Schneider (tRS) Hamiltonians. Using recently observed relations between quantum Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov (qKZ) equations and tRS integrable system we derive a nontrivial identity for vertex functions with relative insertions.

$\mathcal{N}=2$ Super-Teichmüller Theory

Based on earlier work of the latter two named authors on the higher super-Teichmueller space with $\mathcal{N}=1$, a component of the flat $OSp(1|2)$ connections on a punctured surface, here we extend to the case $\mathcal{N}=2$ of flat $OSp(2|2)$ connections. Indeed, we construct here coordinates on the higher super-Teichmueller space of a surface $F$ with at least one puncture associated to the supergroup $OSp(2|2)$, which in particular specializes to give another treatment for $\mathcal{N}=1$ simpler than the earlier work. The Minkowski space in the current case, where the corresponding super Fuchsian groups act, is replaced by the superspace $\mathbb{R}^{2,2|4}$, and the familiar lambda lengths are extended by odd invariants of triples of special isotropic vectors in $\mathbb{R}^{2,2|4}$ as well as extra bosonic parameters, which we call ratios, defining a flat $\mathbb{R}_{+}$-connection on $F$. As in the pure bosonic or $\mathcal{N}=1$ cases, we derive the analogue of Ptolemy transformations for all these new variables.

Super-Teichmüller spaces and related structures

This short note provides an overview of some theorems and conjectures obtained by the author and his collaborators. It is an extended abstract for the Oberwolfach workshop "New Trends in Teichmüller Theory and Mapping Class Groups", 2 September - 8 September 2018.

Decorated Super-Teichmüller Space

We introduce coordinates for a principal bundle $S\tilde T(F)$ over the super Teichmueller space $ST(F)$ of a surface $F$ with $s\geq 1$ punctures that extend the lambda length coordinates on the decorated bundle $\tilde T(F)=T(F)\times {\mathbb R}_+^s$ over the usual Teichmueller space $T(F)$. In effect, the action of a Fuchsian subgroup of $PSL(2,{\mathbb R})$ on Minkowski space ${\mathbb R}^{2,1}$ is replaced by the action of a super Fuchsian subgroup of $OSp(1|2)$ on the super Minkowski space ${\mathbb R}^{2,1|2}$, where $OSp(1|2)$ denotes the orthosymplectic Lie supergroup, and the lambda lengths are extended by fermionic invariants of suitable triples of isotropic vectors in ${\mathbb R}^{2,1|2}$. As in the bosonic case, there is the analogue of the Ptolemy transformation now on both even and odd coordinates as well as an invariant even two-form on $S\tilde T(F)$ generalizing the Weil-Petersson Kaehler form. This finally solves a problem posed in Yuri Ivanovitch Manin's Moscow seminar some thirty years ago to find the super analogue of decorated Teichmueller theory and provides a natural geometric interpretation in ${\mathbb R}^{2,1|2}$ for the super moduli of $S\tilde T(F)$.

On Ramond Decorations

We impose constraints on the odd coordinates of super Teichmüller space in the uniformization picture for the monodromies around Ramond punctures, thus reducing the overall odd dimension to be compatible with that of the moduli spaces of super Riemann surfaces. Namely, the monodromy of a puncture must be a true parabolic element of the canonical subgroup $PSL(2,\mathbb{R})$.

On the unitary representations of the affine $ax+b$-group, $\widehat{sl}(2,\mathbb{R})$ and their relatives

This article focuses on two related topics: unitary representations of the loop $ax+b$-group and their relation to a loop version of the $Γ$-function and the construction of continuous series for the $\widehat{sl(2,\mathbb{R})}$-algebra. Mainly this is a survey of some results from arXiv:1012.4826 , arXiv:1210.2135 alongside with the motivation for them both from the physical and mathematical points of view.

Beltrami-Courant Differentials and $G_{\infty}$-algebras

Using the symmetry properties of two-dmensional sigma models, we introduce a notion of the Beltrami-Courant differential, so that there is a natural homotopy Gerstenhaber algebra related to it. We conjecture that the generalized Maurer-Cartan equation for the corresponding $L_{\infty}$ subalgebra gives solutions to the Einstein equations.

Sigma-models and Homotopy Algebras

We review the relation between homotopy algebras of conformal field theory and geometric structures arising in sigma models. In particular we formulate conformal invariance conditions, which in the quasi-classical limit are Einstein equations with extra fields, as generalized Maurer-Cartan equations.

Q-operator and fusion relations for $C^{(2)}_q(2)$

The construction of the Q-operator for twisted affine superalgebra $C^{(2)}_q(2)$ is given. It is shown that the corresponding prefundamental representations give rise to evaluation modules some of which do not have a classical limit, which nevertheless appear to be a necessary part of fusion relations.

On the continuous series for affine sl(2,R)

We construct the representations of affine sl(2,R) starting from the unitary representations of the loop ax+b-group. Our approach involves a combinatorial analysis of the correlation functions of the generators and renormalization of the appearing divergencies. We view our construction as a step towards a realization of the principal series representations of affine sl(2,R).

Superopers on Supercurves

In this note, we introduce the generalization of opers (superopers) for a certain class of superalgebras, which have pure odd simple root system. We study in detail $SPL_2$-superopers and in particular derive the corresponding Bethe ansatz equations, which describe the spectrum of $osp(2|1)$ Gaudin model.

Supersymmetry and the Modular Double

A counterpart of the modular double for quantum superalgebra $\cU_q(\osp(1|2))$ is constructed by means of supersymmetric quantum mechanics. We also construct the $R$-matrix operator acting in the corresponding representations, which is expressed via quantum dilogarithm.

On higher order Leibniz identities in TCFT

We extend the algebra of local observables in topological conformal field theories by nonlocal operators. This allows to construct parameter-dependent operations realized via certain integrals over the compactified moduli spaces, satisfying analogues of the Leibniz and higher order Leibniz identities holding up to homotopy. We conjecture that one can construct a complete set of such operations which lead to a parameter-dependent version of Loday's homotopy Leibniz algebras.

Unitary representations of a loop ax+b group, Wiener measure and Gamma-function

We construct a family of irreducible unitary representations of the loop affine group of a line (ax+b group) with central extension on the Hilbert space of square integrable functions with respect to the Wiener measure. We relate the matrix coefficients of the elements of the loop ax+b group to the loop analogue of the Gamma-function.

Homotopy Relations for Topological VOA

We consider a parameter-dependent version of the homotopy associative part of the Lian-Zuckerman homotopy algebra and provide the interpretation of multilinear operations of this algebra in terms of integrals over certain polytopes. We explicitly prove the pentagon relation up to homotopy and propose a construction of higher operations.

Quasiclassical Lian-Zuckerman Homotopy Algebras, Courant Algebroids and Gauge Theory

We define a quasiclassical limit of the Lian-Zuckerman homotopy BV algebra (quasiclassical LZ algebra) on the subcomplex, corresponding to "light modes", i.e. the elements of zero conformal weight, of the semi-infinite (BRST) cohomology complex of the Virasoro algebra associated with vertex operator algebra (VOA) with a formal parameter. We also construct a certain deformation of the BRST differential parametrized by a constant two-component tensor, such that it leads to the deformation of the $A_{\infty}$-subalgebra of the quasiclassical LZ algebra. Altogether this gives a functor the category of VOA with a formal parameter to the category of $A_{\infty}$-algebras. The associated generalized Maurer-Cartan equation gives the analogue of the Yang-Mills equation for a wide class of VOAs. Applying this construction to an example of VOA generated by $β$-$γ$ systems, we find a remarkable relation between the Courant algebroid and the homotopy algebra of the Yang-Mills theory.
