Experimental Investigations of Changes in beta-decay rate of Co-60 and Cs-137

Results of simultaneous measurements of beta-decay rate with the aid of Ge(Li)-detectors performed at two laboratories 140km apart (INR RAS, Troitsk, Co-60, and JINR, Dubna, Cs-137) during a period from 15.03.2000 till 10.04.2000, are presented. Regular deviations of the count rate of gamma-quanta following the beta-decay of $\sim$ 0.7% (INR RAS, Co-60) and $\sim$ 0.2% (JINR, Cs-137) from the statistical average, are observed. The analysis of extremum deviations of gamma-quanta count rate shows that the set of directions of tangents to the Earth's parallels of latitude at the extremum points of trajectories of motion in the space of each laboratory clearly forms three separate compact subsets of directions which agree, for two laboratories, to an accuracy of $\pm10^\circ$. This phenomenon is shown not to be explained on the basis of traditional notion. A possible explanation is suggested basing on the hypothesis that there exists a new anisotropic interaction caused by the cosmological vectorial potential \textbf{A}$_{\rm g}$, a new fundamental constant having, according to the experiments carried out, the coordinate of right ascension $α\approx 285^\circ$ in the second equatorial system. This is in agreement with earlier experiments.

Breaking of vortex lines - a new mechanism of collapse in hydrodynamics

A new mechanism of the collapse in hydrodynamics is suggested, due to breaking of continuously distributed vortex lines. Collapse results in formation of the point singularities of the vorticity field $|{\bfΩ}|$. At the collapse point, the value of the vorticity blows up as $(t_0-t)^{-1}$ where $t_0$ is a collapse time. The spatial structure of the collapsing distribution approaches a pancake form: contraction occurs by the law $l_1\sim(t_0-t)^{3/2}$ along the "soft" direction, the characteristic scales vanish like $l_2\sim(t_0-t)^{1/2}$ along two other ("hard") directions. This scenario of the collapse is shown to take place in the integrable three-dimensional hydrodynamics with the Hamiltonian ${\cal H}=\int|{\bfΩ}|d{\bf r}$. Most numerical studies of collapse in the Euler equation are in a good agreement with the proposed theory.

Dynamics of vortex and magnetic lines in ideal hydrodynamics and MHD

Vortex line and magnetic line representations are introduced for description of flows in ideal hydrodynamics and MHD, respectively. For incompressible fluids it is shown that the equations of motion for vorticity ${\bf Ω}$ and magnetic field with the help of this transformation follow from the variational principle. By means of this representation it is possible to integrate the system of hydrodynamic type with the Hamiltonian ${\cal{H}}=\int |{\bf Ω}| d{\bf r}$. It is also demonstrated that these representations allow to remove from the noncanonical Poisson brackets, defined on the space of divergence-free vector fields, degeneracy connected with the vorticity frozenness for the Euler equation and with magnetic field frozenness for ideal MHD. For MHD a new Weber type transformation is found. It is shown how this transformation can be obtained from the two-fluid model when electrons and ions can be considered as two independent fluids. The Weber type transformation for ideal MHD gives the whole Lagrangian vector invariant. When this invariant is absent this transformation coincides with the Clebsch representation analog introduced by Zakharov and Kuznetov.
