UAT: Unified Audio-Text Diffusion for Audio Generation, Editing, and Captioning

Audio generation and audio-to-text understanding remain largely separate, with diffusion models dominating high-fidelity synthesis and autoregressive (AR) language models driving captioning and semantic prediction. Existing unified approaches typically rely on either heterogeneous modules or AR-centric modeling, which can hinder joint optimization and limit acoustic fidelity. We present UAT, to our knowledge, the first diffusion-centric framework that supports unified audio generation, editing, and captioning. UAT couples continuous latent diffusion for audio with masked discrete diffusion for text, enabling bidirectional audio-text modeling within a shared dual-stream backbone. Experiments show that UAT preserves strong audio generation and editing capabilities while achieving competitive captioning performance, demonstrating a favorable balance between acoustic synthesis and semantic prediction. Demo samples are available at https://UAT-demo.github.io.

Towards Multi-Agent-Simulation-Based Community Note Evaluation

Community-based fact-checking that relies on cross-consensus is expanding rapidly on social media platforms. However, the delay and low-ratio of cross-consensus community fact-checks rated by human contributors remains a significant challenge. To address this, we first created ComRate, a large-scale dataset comprising 2.5 million community notes and over 209 million ratings sourced from $\mathbb{X}$. We then propose MultiCom, a persona-guided multi-agent rating framework for community note evaluation. MultiCom simulates diverse rater population by clustering contributors in a matrix-factorized rater space and prompting persona agents to generate structured assessments based on the official community notes rating schema. These agents output structured and explainable judgments, such as confidence, agreement signals and reasons. An out-of-fold calibrated aggregation algorithm combines features such as raw votes and diagnostic reason signals for reliable prediction. Extensive evaluations demonstrate that MultiCom outperforms alternative methods, achieving an average accuracy of 84.7% (balanced accuracy 68.3%, macro-F1 60.1%) on the evaluation set.

CardioLens: Revealing the Clinical Reality Gap of MLLMs via Multi-Sequence Cardiac MRI Evaluations

Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) have shown strong performance on public medical benchmarks, yet existing evaluations often remain weak proxies for clinical use, relying on isolated inputs and simplified recognition-style tasks. We introduce CardioLens, a leakage-resistant evaluation testbed for multi-sequence Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance (CMR), constructed from private hospital archives through a rigorous report-to-QA construction and verification pipeline. CardioLens contains 473,896 slices and 13,494 verified QA pairs across 4D Cine, LGE, perfusion, and T2-weighted imaging, and evaluates three stages of CMR interpretation: image understanding, report generation, and disease diagnosis. Across 24 state-of-the-art MLLMs, CardioLens reveals a substantial clinical reality gap: models perform poorly overall, with performance degrading along the real CMR workflow. Confusion analysis further shows a category-collapse failure mode, where models default to frequent abnormal categories rather than distinguishing clinically distinct findings. To rule out MLLM-compatible input construction as the primary cause, we compare random, clinically motivated, and data-driven slice selection protocols under different slice budgets; performance changes only marginally, typically by about 1%. Explicit reasoning prompts also fail to rescue performance, often making models more conservative rather than improving visual evidence use. These results show that current MLLMs remain far from reliable CMR interpretation, where clinical decisions require integrating distributed evidence across sequences, views, and temporal phases. CardioLens provides a clinically grounded testbed for developing next-generation MLLMs toward real-world clinical deployment.

MeniOmni: A Structured Multimodal Benchmark for Holistic Meniscus Injury Assessment

Clinical diagnosis of meniscus injuries requires radiologists to integrate volumetric MRI evidence with patient context (e.g., sex, age, BMI) and to produce structured diagnostic reports. Existing knee MRI benchmarks are typically unimodal and rely on coarse labels, limiting their ability to evaluate holistic clinical reasoning. We introduce MeniOmni, a structured multimodal benchmark for meniscus injury assessment, consisting of 746 multi-center MRI studies with tri-planar volumetric inputs, Clinical Priors, and expert-annotated clinical text. MeniOmni supports two tasks: (1) fine-grained Stoller severity grading and (2) diagnostic report generation. We further propose risk-aware ordinal evaluation and a semantic consistency metric (Meni-Score) to better reflect clinical relevance. Baseline experiments show that incorporating Clinical Priors improves grading performance and reduces severe errors, highlighting the value of multimodal context for safer assessment. Code and data are available at https://github.com/ShuruiXu/MeniOmni.

CosyEdit2: Speech-Editing-Oriented Reinforcement Learning Unlocks Better Zero-Shot TTS

Speech editing and zero-shot Text-to-Speech (TTS) share a similar generative foundation conditioned on speech prompts, yet speech editing demands far stricter local acoustic consistency with surrounding unedited content. While prior work has shown that Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) enables TTS models to acquire functional editing capability, this approach remains fundamentally bottlenecked by imperfect paired editing data and coarse-grained optimization signals. To address these limitations, we propose CosyEdit2, a speech editing model built on a two-stage post-training framework that progresses from supervised editing initialization to editing-oriented Group Relative Policy Optimization (GRPO) over target-speech-free data. Extensive experiments demonstrate that CosyEdit2 not only substantially advances speech editing performance, but also unlocks better zero-shot TTS capability, revealing a deeper mutual relationship between the two tasks. Audio samples are available at https://cjy1018.github.io/CosyEdit2.

Position: Towards Responsible Evaluation for Text-to-Speech

Recent advances in text-to-speech (TTS) technology have enabled systems to generate speech that is often indistinguishable from human speech, bringing benefits to accessibility, content creation, and human-computer interaction. However, current evaluation practices are increasingly inadequate for capturing the full range of capabilities, limitations, and societal impacts of modern TTS systems. This position paper introduces the concept of Responsible Evaluation and argues that it is essential and urgent for the next phase of TTS development, structured through three progressive levels: (1) ensuring the faithful and accurate reflection of a model's true capabilities and limitations, with more robust, discriminative, and comprehensive objective and subjective scoring methodologies; (2) enabling comparability, standardization, and transferability through standardized benchmarks, transparent reporting, and transferable evaluation metrics; and (3) assessing governance, fairness, and security concerns around data provenance, disparities, misuse, spoofing, and traceability. Through this concept, we critically examine current evaluation practices, identify systemic shortcomings, and propose actionable recommendations. We hope this concept will not only foster more reliable TTS technology but also guide its development toward ethically sound and societally beneficial applications.

NanoCP: Request-Level Dynamic Context Parallelism for Data-Expert Parallel Decoding

Modern serving systems for Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models adopt hybrid data-expert parallelism: expert parallelism (EP) shards experts across GPUs to scale capacity, while data parallelism (DP) replicates attention layers across instances to process independent requests. Existing systems bind each request's attention, MoE communication, and KV cache to a single instance. Because attention latency scales with KV cache size while MoE communication latency scales with batch size, this binding cannot balance both simultaneously, producing EP stragglers; it also fragments KV memory across instances, inflating tail latency under long contexts. While existing context parallelism (CP) mitigates these constraints, its uniform parallelism degree incurs prohibitive communication and attention-side overheads. We present \work, which decouples MoE communication from KV cache placement and achieves dual balance through dynamic context parallelism (DCP). DCP assigns each request a context-parallel degree sized to its KV footprint: long requests distribute attention across multiple instances; short requests remain local. This dynamic parallelism effectively liquefies the KV cache across the cluster, balancing both the per-instance KV cache occupancy and batch sizes without unnecessary load-balancing costs. To bridge DCP with static execution, \work introduces an ahead-of-time (AOT) graph engine paired with a custom routing-based communication backend. Experimental results show that \work maintains up to $1.88\times$--$3.27\times$ higher request rates under strict time-per-output-token (TPOT) service level objectives (SLOs). Furthermore, \work significantly mitigates stragglers, reducing P99 tail latency by up to $1.79\times$--$2.12\times$.

Coherence-Enhanced Quantum Battery Charging with Ergotropy Stabilization

Quantum batteries utilize nonclassical resources to achieve charging speed and energy storage performances that surpass classical thermodynamic limits. However, the practical realization of quantum batteries is often constrained by the inevitable environment-induced dissipation of both stored ergotropy and coherence. To actively counteract these losses, we propose a dual-channel coherence framework that exploits dark-state protection to stabilize ergotropy. We conduct, for the first time, an investigation of the synergistic interplay between internal charger coherence and reservoir squeezing, the latter acting as a source of external coherence. In the resource-efficient regime where charger and battery sizes are comparable, our study shows that internal charger coherence and reservoir squeezing jointly enhance the transient charging power. Crucially, initial charger coherence is the fundamental resource for maximizing and stabilizing steady-state ergotropy through dark-state protection. Our analysis reveals that these advantages are driven by the buildup of local battery coherence, which emerges from the integration of both internal and external coherence sources. These results offer a robust pathway for high-power, stabilized energy storage in quantum architectures.

VoxScene: Anchor-Conditioned Voxel Diffusion for Indoor Scene Arrangement

We present VoxScene, a novel anchor-conditioned voxel diffusion framework tailored for 3D scene synthesis. Current data-driven layout generation techniques typically rely on bounding proxies or implicit representations, which overlook volumetric structures. This geometric blindness inevitably leads to severe physical collisions and structural entanglement, particularly in densely populated environments. To overcome these limitations, we shift the paradigm to an explicit, object-centric voxel representation. Our pipeline sequentially synthesizes discrete volumetric occupancies conditioned on prior anchors and local context. By exploiting the mutually exclusive nature of discrete voxels, our approach eliminates spatial ambiguities and guarantees collision-free arrangements, even in highly complex environments. Furthermore, the synthesized high-fidelity voxel grids serve as discriminative geometric queries for downstream asset retrieval. Extensive experiments demonstrate the universality of our method, achieving state-of-the-art physical plausibility and unlocking shape diversity compared to existing layout planners.

STELLA: A Multimodal LLM for Protein Functional Annotation via Unified Sequence-Structure Encoding

Understanding the intricate interplay among sequence, structure, and function remains a fundamental challenge in proteomics. The sequence-structure-function paradigm posits that biological roles are governed by the tertiary geometric conformations encoded within primary sequences; consequently, integrating these multi-modal descriptors is imperative for accurate functional annotation. While protein language models (pLMs) have achieved significant progress via representation learning on massive sequence data, they often lack the capacity to incorporate high-resolution structural information and the rich textual context that characterizes protein roles. In this work, we present STELLA, a multimodal LLM that synergistically aligns bimodal (sequence-structure) representations with the textual modality to advance protein functional annotation. By leveraging ESM3 for unified bimodal encoding and Llama-3.1-8B-Instruct for natural language modeling, STELLA achieves state-of-the-art performance in two critical tasks: Functional Description Prediction and Enzyme-catalyzed Reaction Prediction. This study demonstrates that multimodal LLMs represent a paradigm shift beyond pure pLMs, offering a new frontier for protein biology and biomedical discovery. The codes can be accessed via https://github.com/ocx-lab/STELLA.

PicoEyes: Unified Gaze Estimation Framework for Mixed Reality with a Large-Scale Multi-View Dataset

We present PicoEyes, a unified gaze estimation framework that directly predicts all key attributes of gaze, including 3D eye parameters, eye-region segmentation, optical axis, visual axis, and depth maps, from either monocular or binocular inputs. The framework simultaneously addresses calibration, gaze forecasting, and varying device postures, while also supporting 3D eye reconstruction via joint estimation of eye parameters and depth maps in an end-to-end manner. In addition, we introduce a large-scale multi-view near-eye dataset containing comprehensive 2D and 3D annotations under diverse conditions, including train, test, rewear-test, and calibration sessions. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PicoEyes achieves state-ofthe-art performance, consistently outperforming both academic and industrial gaze tracking methods across nocalibration, calibration, rewear-after-calibration, and forecasting settings. This work establishes a practical, end-toend paradigm for robust and generalizable gaze estimation in mixed reality (MR) applications.

EGL-SCA: Structural Credit Assignment for Co-Evolving Instructions and Tools in Graph Reasoning Agents

Graph reasoning agents operating from natural-language inputs must solve a coupled problem: they must reconstruct a structured graph instance from text, decide whether existing computational assets are sufficient, interact with tools under a strict execution protocol, and satisfy an external verifier that checks structured correctness rather than textual plausibility. Existing approaches usually improve either the instruction side or the tool side in isolation, which leaves unclear what should be updated after failure. We propose EGL-SCA, a verifier-centric dual-space framework that models a graph reasoning agent using two collaborative components: an instruction-side policy space for reasoning strategies, and a tool-side program space for executable algorithmic tools. Our central mechanism is structural credit assignment, which maps trajectory evidence to conditional updates, precisely routing failures to either prompt optimization or tool synthesis and repair. To provide sufficient learning signals for dual-space adaptation, we introduce a training distribution stratified by task family, coupled with a Pareto-style retention strategy to balance success, generality, and parsimony. Experiments on four graph reasoning benchmarks show that EGL-SCA achieves a state-of-the-art 92.0\% average success rate. By effectively co-evolving instructions and tools, our framework significantly outperforms both pure-prompting and fixed-toolbox baselines.

Safactory: A Scalable Agentic Infrastructure for Training Trustworthy Autonomous Intelligence

As large models evolve from conversational assistants into autonomous agents, challenges increasingly arise from long-horizon decision making, tool use, and real environment interaction. Existing agenticinfrastructure remain fragmented across evaluation, data management, and agent evolution, making it difficult to discover risks systematically and improve models in a continuous closed loop. In this report, we present \textbf{Safactory}, a scalable agent factory for trustworthy autonomous intelligence. Safactory integrates three tightly coupled platforms: a \textbf{Parallel Simulation Platform} for trajectory generation, a \textbf{Trustworthy Data Platform} for trajectory storage and experience extraction, and an \textbf{Autonomous Evolution Platform} for asynchronous reinforcement learning and on-policy distillation. As far as we know, Safactory is the first framework to propose a unified evolutionary pipeline for next-generation trustworthy autonomous intelligence.

MolRecBench-Wild: A Real-World Benchmark for Optical Chemical Structure Recognition

Optical Chemical Structure Recognition (OCSR) aims to translate molecular diagrams in scientific literature into machine-readable formats, but current systems remain unreliable on real-world images due to substantial visual and chemical complexity. We introduce MOSAIC, a dual-dimensional difficulty framework with 37 fine-grained labels that jointly characterize visual interference and chemical semantic challenges in molecular diagrams. Based on this framework, we construct MolRecBench-Wild, a benchmark of 5,029 structures from 820 recent chemistry papers, covering the full difficulty spectrum observed in real publications. To enable faithful semantic evaluation beyond SMILES and MolFile, we propose CARBON, a representation language capable of expressing valence variations, icon-based groups, and other non-standard chemical semantics. We further adopt a dual-track evaluation protocol supporting both CARBON and SMILES outputs for broad model compatibility. Comprehensive experiments over 18 OCSR-capable models reveal severe performance degradation on MolRecBench-Wild, exposing a large gap between previous patent benchmarks and real-world academic scenarios.

Reconfigurable and cascaded logic gates using dual-input multilayered heater nanocryotrons

Superconducting electronics have emerged as a promising platform for advanced information processing, offering unique opportunities for on chip computation and signal manipulation at cryogenic temperatures. These devices hold particular potential in applications ranging from quantum computing to high sensitivity magnetic sensing, where integrated logic and scalable circuit architectures are essential for performing complex computational and signal-processing tasks. In this work, we present a dual-input multilayered heater nanocryotron (hTron) that introduces both multi input functionality and reconfigurable logic capability within a single device. This capability represents a step forward toward realizing more complex computational architectures. In addition, we demonstrate that these devices can, in principle, drive one another and potentially be integrated on a larger scale. Furthermore, the inherent reconfigurability of the demonstrated device allows for dynamic switching between logic operations without requiring additional components which reduces circuit area and simplifies cryogenic and biasing requirements, making the design highly suitable for scalable superconducting computing systems.

ViCrop-Det: Spatial Attention Entropy Guided Cropping for Training-Free Small-Object Detection

Transformer-based architectures have established a dominant paradigm in global semantic perception; however, they remain fundamentally constrained by the profound spatial heterogeneity inherent in natural images. Specifically, the imposition of a uniform global receptive field across regions of varying information density inevitably leads to local feature degradation, particularly in dense conflict zones populated by microscopic targets. To address this mechanistic limitation, we propose ViCrop-Det, a training-free inference framework that introduces adaptive spatial trust region shrinkage. Inspired by the use of attention entropy in anomaly segmentation, ViCrop-Det leverages the detection decoder's cross-attention distribution as an endogenous probe. By utilizing Spatial Attention Entropy (SAE) to heuristically evaluate local spatial ambiguity, the framework executes dynamic spatial routing, allocating a fixed computational budget exclusively to regions exhibiting both high target saliency and high cognitive uncertainty. By shrinking the spatial trust region and injecting high-frequency localized observations, ViCrop-Det actively resolves spatial ambiguity and recovers fine-grained features without requiring architectural modifications. Extensive evaluations on VisDrone and DOTA-v1.5 demonstrate that ViCrop-Det yields competitive performance enhancements, consistently adding +1-3 mAP@50 to RT-DETR-R50 and Deformable DETR with a marginal 20-23\% latency overhead. On MS COCO, $AP_{S}$ improves while $AP_{M}/AP_{L}$ remains stable, indicating precise fine-scale refinement without compromising the global spatial prior. Under compute-matched settings, our adaptive routing strategy comprehensively surpasses uniform slicing baselines, achieving a highly optimized accuracy-speed trade-off.

Tunneling photons pose no challenge to Bohmian mechanics

Very recently, Sharoglazova et al. performed an experiment measuring the energy-velocity relationship and Bohmian velocity in coupled waveguides. Their data show a discrepancy between the semi-classical `speed' $v=\sqrt{2|Δ|/m}$ and Bohmian velocity $v_s$ for $Δ<-\hbar J_0$, leading them to claim a challenge to Bohmian mechanics. Here, we definitively demonstrate this experiment poses no challenge to Bohmian mechanics. First, $v$ and $v_S$ represent fundamentally distinct physical quantities -- comparing them is physically unjustified and cannot adjudicate between Copenhagen and Bohmian interpretations. Second, we rigorously show that both interpretations predict identical photon tunneling dynamics in coupled waveguides.

Kernel-Smith: A Unified Recipe for Evolutionary Kernel Optimization

We present Kernel-Smith, a framework for high-performance GPU kernel and operator generation that combines a stable evaluation-driven evolutionary agent with an evolution-oriented post-training recipe. On the agent side, Kernel-Smith maintains a population of executable candidates and iteratively improves them using an archive of top-performing and diverse programs together with structured execution feedback on compilation, correctness, and speedup. To make this search reliable, we build backend-specific evaluation services for Triton on NVIDIA GPUs and Maca on MetaX GPUs. On the training side, we convert long-horizon evolution trajectories into step-centric supervision and reinforcement learning signals by retaining correctness-preserving, high-gain revisions, so that the model is optimized as a strong local improver inside the evolutionary loop rather than as a one-shot generator. Under a unified evolutionary protocol, Kernel-Smith-235B-RL achieves state-of-the-art overall performance on KernelBench with Nvidia Triton backend, attaining the best average speedup ratio and outperforming frontier proprietary models including Gemini-3.0-pro and Claude-4.6-opus. We further validate the framework on the MetaX MACA backend, where our Kernel-Smith-MACA-30B surpasses large-scale counterparts such as DeepSeek-V3.2-think and Qwen3-235B-2507-think, highlighting potential for seamless adaptation across heterogeneous platforms. Beyond benchmark results, the same workflow produces upstream contributions to production systems including SGLang and LMDeploy, demonstrating that LLM-driven kernel optimization can transfer from controlled evaluation to practical deployment.
