An FLRW accelerating universe model in Weyl type $f(Q)$ gravity and Observational Constraints

We propose to develop a cosmological model of the universe based on Weyl type $ f(Q) $ gravity which shows the transition from decelerating in the past to acceleration at present by considering a particular functional form of $ f(Q) $ gravity as $ f(Q) = ({H_0}^2) (α_1 + α_2 \hskip0.05in log ({H_0^{-2}} Q)) $. We have solved Weyl type $ f(Q) $ gravity field equations numerically and have obtained numerical solutions to the Hubble and deceleration parameters, distance modulus, and apparent magnitudes of stellar objects like SNIa Supernovae. We have also obtained numerical solutions for the Weyl vector $ w $, non-metricity scalar $ Q $, and the Lagrangian multiplier $ λ$ appearing in the action of $ f(Q) $ gravity. We have compared our theoretical solutions with the error bar plots of the Observed Hubble data set of $ 77 $ points, $ 580 $ distance modulus SNIa data set, and $ 1048 $ supernova Pantheon data sets of apparent magnitudes. It is found that our results fit well with the observed data set points. \bf{The model envisages a unique feature that although the universe is filled with perfect fluid as dust whose pressure is zero, still the weyl vector dominance f(Q) creates acceleration in it. }

A non-singular bouncing cosmology in $ f(R,T) $ gravity

We investigate a bounce realization in the framework of higher order curvature in $ f(R,T) $ modified theory of gravity. We perform a detailed analysis of the cosmological parameters to explain the contraction phase, the bounce phase, and the expansion phase. Furthermore, we observe a violation of the null energy condition, instability of the model, and a singularity upon deceleration at the bouncing point, which are the supporting results for a bouncing cosmology. The outcome of the slow roll parameters is satisfactory to understand the inflation era and the equation of state parameter exhibits a ghost condensate behavior of the model near the bounce. Additionally, we discuss the stability of the model using linear perturbations in the Hubble parameter as well as the energy density.

The constrained cosmological model in Lyra geometry

In this article, we study a flat homogeneous FLRW model in Lyra geometry which is described by a time-dependent displacement vector. We consider an appropriate parametrization of the energy density of scalar field $ ρ_ϕ$ in terms of the cosmic scale factor. The result shows two transitions from deceleration to acceleration. Furthermore, we constrain the model parameter $ α$ and the displacement field vector $ β$ using the recent supernovae data, Hubble data set of 77 points, and their joint data which predicts the accelerated expanding phase of the universe in late times. The effective equation of state parameter $ ω_{eff} $ speculate $ Λ$CDM in late times. Finally, we use the statefinder diagnostic to differentiate our model from the various dark energy models.

Bouncing cosmology in modified gravity with higher-order curvature terms

A bouncing scenario of a flat homogeneous and isotropic universe is explored by using the reconstruction technique for the power-law parametrization of the Hubble parameter in a modified gravity theory with higher-order curvature and trace of the energy-momentum tensor terms. It is demonstrated that bouncing criteria are satisfied so that the cosmological initial singularity can be avoided. In addition, it is shown that the equation of state parameter crosses the line of the phantom divide. In the present scenario, the universe is filled with perfect fluid around the bouncing point, in which the universe becomes highly unstable and a big bounce can be realized. Furthermore, it is found that extremal acceleration occurs at the bouncing point.

The cosmological model in $ f(R,T^ϕ) $ gravity with Scalar Field conformity

The homogeneous and isotropic cosmological model in generalized $ f(R,T^ϕ) $ theories associated with scalar field is discussed, which is motivated by the $ f(R,T) $ theory of gravity studied by Harko et al. \cite{Harko:2011kv, Harko:2014pqa}. The $ f(R,T^ϕ) $ gravity can be explained as $ f(R,T) $ gravity with a self-interacting scalar field $ ϕ$, where $ T^ϕ$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. The parametrization of Hubble parameter $ H(t) $ is taken as $ α-βe^{-γt} $, where $ α$, $β$ and $γ$ are arbitrary constants such that $ α, γ>0 $ and $ β<0 $. The model shows no space-time singularity and the expansion of the universe will continue forever, i.e., the future scenario of the universe attains Big Freeze. The model predicts the moderate inflationary scenario at the time of the evolution of the universe and it is consistent with $ Λ$CDM in late times. The consistency of the model has also been examined using recent observational Hubble dataset and supernovae dataset. Finally, the physical features of the model have been discussed in some detail.

A constrained cosmological model in $f(R,L_m)$ gravity

In this article, we study the expanding nature of universe in the contest of $f(R,L_m)$ gravity theory, here $ R $ represents the Ricci scalar and $ L_m $ is the matter Lagrangian density. With a specific form of $ f(R,L_m) $, we obtain the field equations for flat FLRW metric. We parametrize the deceleration parameter in terms of the Hubble parameter and from here we find four free parameters, which are constraints and estimated by using $H(z)$, $Pantheon$, and their joint data sets. Further, we investigate the evolution of the deceleration parameter which depicts a transition from the deceleration to acceleration phases of the universe. The evolution behaviour of energy density, pressure, and EoS parameters shows that the present model is an accelerated quintessence dark energy model. To compare our model with the $ Λ$CDM model we use some of the diagnostic techniques. Thus, we find that our model in $ f(R,L_m) $ gravity supports the recent standard observational studies and delineates the late-time cosmic acceleration.

Bouncing universe in Gauss-Bonnet gravity

In this paper, a bouncing cosmological scenario is studied in the background of a flat FLRW model with a specific parametrized hyperbolic form of scale factor $ a $ in terms of $ t $, where $ λ$ is taken as the model parameter. This model is discussed in $ f(R,G) $ formalism having structured as $ f(R,G)=R+F(G) $, where $ R $ is Ricci scalar and $ G $ is the Gauss-Bonnet invariant. The proposed functional form of the Hubble parameter is considered in such a way that it satisfies the bouncing criteria of the model, which is free from the initial singularity. The physical consequences of the model are discussed. In this model, one can see that the EoS parameter crosses the quintom line $ ω=-1 $ in the neighborhood of bouncing point $ t\approx0 $, which is a very strong criterion for a successful bouncing cosmological model. Finally, we find that all the essential features of the bouncing model are satisfied successfully.

Dynamics of a parametrized dark energy model in $f(R,T)$ gravity

We investigate a flat FLRW-model in $f(R,T)$-gravity, which includes the quadratic variation in scalar curvature $R$ and the linear term of the trace of the stress-energy tensor $T$. In turn, we establish the model has the behaviour of the late time Universe, which is accelerated expanding and ends up in a big rip. Using the parametrization of scale factor $a(t)$, we propose a model, which begins with point-type singularity, i.e., the model starts with a point of zero volume, infinite energy density and infinite temperature. The model's behaviour is accelerated expanding at present and $Λ$CDM in late times. Finally, the proposed model behaves like a quintessence dark energy model in the present time and is consistent with standard cosmology $Λ$CDM in late times.

Cosmological aspects of a hyperbolic solution in $f(R,T)$ gravity

This article deals with a cosmological scenario in $ f(R,T) $ gravity for a flat FLRW model of the universe. We consider the $ f(R,T) $ function as $ f(R)+f(T) $ which starts with a quadratic correction of the geometric term $ f(R) $ having structure $ f(R)=R+αR^2 $, and a linear matter term $ f(T)=2λT $. To achieve the solution of the gravitational field equations in the $ f(R,T) $ formalism, we take the form of a geometrical parameter, i.e. scale factor $ a(t)= sinh^{\frac{1}{n}}(βt) $ \cite{cha}, where $ β$ and $ n $ are model parameters. An eternal acceleration can be predicted by the model for $ 0<n<1 $, while the cosmic transition from the early decelerated phase to the present accelerated epoch can be anticipated for $ n\geq 1 $. The obtained model facilitate the formation of structure in the Universe according to the Jeans instability condition as our model transits from radiation dominated era to matter dominated era. We study the varying role of the equation of state parameter $ ω$. We analyze our model by studying the behavior of the scalar field and discuss the energy conditions on our achieved solution. We examine the validity of our model via Jerk parameter, Om diagnostic, Velocity of sound and Statefinder diagnostic tools. We investigate the constraints on the model parameter $ n $ and $ H_0 $ (Hubble constant) using some observational datasets: $SNeIa$ dataset, $ H(z)$ (Hubble parameter) dataset, $ BAO $ (Baryon Acoustic Oscillation data) and their combinations as joint observational datasets $ H(z)$ + $ SNeIa $ and $ H(z)$ + $ SNeIa $ + $ BAO $. It is testified that the present study is well consistent with these observations. We also perform some cosmological tests and a detailed discussion of the model.

Curvature dominance DE-model in $f(R)$-gravity

We have probed a cosmological model in $f(R)$-gravity, which is a cubic equation in scalar curvature $R$. The terms arise due to nonlinear $f(R)$ function are treated as energy due to curvature inspired geometry. As a result, we find accelerating expansion in the universe, which creates an anti-gravitating negative pressure in it. Some of the physical parameters are solved using numerical methods. The evolution of the model are examined by the latest observational Hubble data (46-data points) and Pantheon data (the latest compilation of SNIa with 40 binned in the redshift range $0.014 \leqslant z \leqslant1.62$). Some important features of the model have been discussed by analyzing the plots of various dynamical parameters. The plots of deceleration parameter $q$ and the Hubble parameter $H$ describe the accelerating expansion in the evolution of the Universe at the present epoch. The transition from deceleration to acceleration for our model is obtained at redshift $z_{tr} \simeq 0.694069$, which is in good agreement with $Λ$CDM. We have also carried out state finder analysis for our model. The analysis of specific features of the model confirms that our model is consistent with $Λ$CDM in late times.

Thermodynamic stability and P-V criticality of nonsingular-AdS black holes endowed with clouds of strings

We investigate the extended phase space thermodynamics of nonsingular-AdS black holes minimally coupled to clouds of strings in which we consider the cosmological constant ($Λ$) as the pressure ($P$) of the black holes and its conjugate variable thermodynamical volume ($V$) of the black holes. Owing to the background clouds of strings parameter ($a$), we analyse the Hawking temperature, entropy and specific heat on horizon radius for fixed-parameter $k$. We find that the strings clouds background does not alter small/large black hole (SBH/LBH) phase transition but occurs at a larger horizon radius, and two second-order phase transitions occur at a smaller horizon radius. Indeed, the $G$--$T$ plots exhibit a swallowtail below the critical pressure, implying that the first-order phase transition is analogous to the liquid-gas phase transition at a lower temperature and lower critical pressure. To further examine the analogy between nonsingular-AdS black holes and a liquid-gas system, we derive the exact critical points and probe the effects of a cloud of strings on $P-V$ criticality to find that the isotherms undergo liquid-gas like phase transition for $\tilde{T}\,<\,\tilde{T}_c$ at lower $\tilde{T}_c$. We have also calculated the critical exponents identical with Van der Walls fluid, i.e., same as those obtained before for arbitrary other AdS black holes, which implies that the background clouds of strings do not change the critical exponents.

The simplest parametrization of equation of state parameter in the scalar field Universe

In this paper, we have investigated a scalar field cosmological model of accelerating Universe with the simplest parametrization of equation of state parameter of the scalar field. We used $H(z)$ data, pantheon compilation of SN Ia data and BAO data to constrained the model parameters using $χ^{2}$ minimization technique. We obtain the present values of Hubble constant $H_{0}$ as $66.2^{+1.42}_{-1.34}$, $70.7^{+0.32}_{-0.31}$ and $67.74^{+1.24}_{-1.04}$ for $H(z)$, $H(z)$ + Pantheon and $H(z)$ + BAO respectively. Also, we have estimated the present age of the Universe in derived model $t_{0} = 14.38^{+0.63}_{-0.64}$ for joint $H(z)$ and pantheon compilation of SN Ia data which has only $0.88~σ$ tension with its empirical value obtained in Plank collaboration \cite{Ade/2016}. Moreover, the present values of the deceleration parameter $q_{0}$ come out to be $-0.55^{+0.031}_{-0.038}$, $-0.61^{+0.030}_{-0.021}$ and $-0.627^{+0.022}_{-0.025}$ by bounding the Universe in derived model with $H(z)$, $H(z)$ + Pantheon compilation of SN Ia and $H(z)$ + BAO data sets respectively. We also have performed the state-finder diagnostics to discover the nature of dark energy.

FLRW cosmology with EDSFD parametrization

In this paper, we study a cosmological model in the background of FLRW space time by assuming an appropriate parametrization in the form of a differential equation in terms of energy density of scalar field $ ρ_ϕ $, which is defined as Energy Density Scalar Field Differential equation (EDSFD) parametrization. This EDSFD parametrization leads to a required phase transition from early deceleration to present cosmic acceleration. This parametrization is used to reconstruct the equation of state parameter $ ω_ϕ(z) $ to examine the evolutionary history of the universe in a flat FLRW space time. Here, we constrain the model parameter using the various observational datasets of Hubble parameter $ H(z) $, latest Union $ 2.1 $ compilation dataset $ SNeIa $, $ BAO $, joint dataset $ H(z)+SNeIa $ and $ H(z)+SNeIa+BAO $ for detail analysis of the behaviour of physical parameters and we find its best fit present value. Also, we study the dynamics of our parametric model, briefly analyse the behaviours of the physical features using some diagnostic tools, and examine the viability of our model.

Analysis with observational constraints in $ Λ$-cosmology in $f(R,T)$ gravity

An exact cosmological solution of Einstein field equations (EFEs) is derived for a dynamical vacuum energy in $f(R,T)$ gravity for Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) space-time. A parametrization of the Hubble parameter is used to find a deterministic solution of EFE. The cosmological dynamics of our model is discussed in detail. We have analyzed the time evolution of physical parameters and obtained their bounds analytically. Moreover, the behavior of these parameters are shown graphically in terms of redshift $`z'$. Our model is consistent with the formation of structure in the Universe. The role of the $f(R,T)$ coupling constant $λ$ is discussed in the evolution of the equation of state parameter. The statefinder and Om diagnostic analysis is used to distinguish our model with other dark energy models. The maximum likelihood analysis has been reviewed to obtain the constraints on the Hubble parameter $H_0$ and the model parameter $n$ by taking into account the observational Hubble data set $H(z)$, the Union 2.1 compilation data set $SNeIa$, the Baryon Acoustic Oscillation data $BAO$, and the joint data set $H(z)$ + $ SNeIa$ and $H(z)$ + $SNeIa$ + $BAO $. It is demonstrated that the model is in good agreement with various observations.

Bouncing cosmology in $f(R,T)$ gravity

A cosmological model with a specific form of the Hubble parameter is constructed in a flat homogeneous, and isotropic background in the framework of $f(R, T)$ gravity, where $R$ is the scalar curvature and $T$ is the trace of the stress-energy-momentum tensor. The proposed functional form of the Hubble parameter is taken in such a way that it fulfills the successful bouncing criteria to find the solution of the gravitational field equations provided the Universe is free from initial singularity. The various constraints on the parameters are involved in the functional form of the Hubble parameter which is analyzed in detail. In addition, we explore physical and geometrical consequences of the model based on the imposed constraints. Furthermore, we demonstrate the bouncing scenario which are realized in our model with some particular values of the model parameters. As a result, we find that all of the necessary conditions are satisfied for a successful bouncing model.

FLRW cosmological models with quark and strange quark matters in f(R,T) gravity

In this paper, we have studied the magnetized quark matter (QM) and strange quark matter (SQM) distributions in the presence of $ f(R,T)$ gravity in the background of Friedmann--Lemaître--Robertson--Walker (FLRW) metric. To get exact solutions of modified field equations we have used $f(R,T) = R + 2 f(T)$ model given by Harko et al. with two different parametrization of geometrical parameters \textit{i.e.} the parametrization of the deceleration parameter $ q $, and the scale factor $ a $ in hybrid expansion form. Also, we have obtained Einstein Static Universe (ESU) solutions for QM and SQM distributions in $f(R,T)$ gravity and General Relativity (GR). All models in $f(R,T)$ gravity and GR for FRW and ESU Universes with QM also SQM distributions, we get zero magnetic field. These results agree with the solutions of Akta{ş and Aygün in $f(R,T)$ gravity. However, we have also discussed the physical consequences of our obtained models.

Statefinder diagnostic for modified Chaplygin gas cosmology in f(R,T) gravity with particle creation

In this paper, we have studied flat Friedmann--Lema\^ıtre--Robertson--Walker (FLRW) model with modified Chaplygin gas (MCG) having equation of state $p_{m}=Aρ-% \frac{B}{ρ^{γ}}$, where $0\leq A\leq 1$, $0\leq γ\leq 1$ and $B$ is any positive constant in }${\footnotesize f(R,T)}${\footnotesize \ gravity with particle creation. We have considered a simple parametrization of the Hubble parameter $H$ in order to solve the field equations and discussed the time evolution of different cosmological parameters for some obtained models showing unique behavior of scale factor. We have also discussed the statefinder diagnostic pair $\{r,s\}$ that characterizes the evolution of obtained models and explore their stability. The physical consequences of the models and their kinematic behaviors have also been scrutinized here in some detail.

The Bianchi type-V Dark Energy Cosmology in Self Interacting Brans Dicke Theory of Gravity

This paper deals with a spatially homogeneous and totally anisotropic Bianchi type-V cosmological model within the framework of self interacting Brans Dicke theory of gravity in the background of anisotropic dark energy (DE) with variable equation of state (EoS) parameter and constant deceleration parameter. Constant deceleration parameter leads to two models of universe, i.e. power law model and exponential model. EoS parameter ω and its existing range for the models is in good agreement with the most recent observational data. We notice that ω given by (37) i.e ω(t) = log(k1t) is more suitable in explaining the evolution of the universe. The physical behaviors of the solutions have also been discussed using some physical quantities. Finally, we observe that despite having several prominent features, both of the DE models discussed fail in details.
