LightNav-0: Eliciting VLM Spatial Intelligence for Generalist Embodied Navigation

Embodied navigation requires agents to translate heterogeneous goals and visual observations into actions across tasks, environments, and robot embodiments. Modern vision-language models (VLMs) already encode spatial priors for visual grounding, spatial reasoning, and pointing, but these capabilities are rarely elicited directly for robot control. Existing navigation systems instead rely on task- or embodiment-specific components, fragmenting perception, reasoning, and action while offering limited generalization. Here we present LightNav-0, a compact generalist embodied navigation model that elicits the spatial intelligence of a pretrained VLM and aligns it with navigation, without task-specific prediction heads. LightNav-0 represents diverse navigation tasks through a unified token interface: dual-channel pointing expresses task-, scene-, and embodiment-agnostic spatial intent, while a residual vector-quantized action tokenizer maps this intent to precise, embodiment-specific trajectories. Together with temporally aware visual history compression, ER mid-training, supervised fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning, this formulation supports instruction following, open-vocabulary object navigation, and visual tracking within a single model. The navigation training corpus spans 2K+ scenes and 4K+ hours of embodied navigation data. LightNav-ER, the embodied-reasoning checkpoint used to initialize LightNav-0, attains the highest complete-set average across 8 embodied-reasoning benchmarks, while LightNav-0 achieves state-of-the-art monocular success rates across all 10 public navigation simulation settings. Real-world evaluations further demonstrate zero-shot generalization across robot embodiments, diverse scenes, and static and dynamic targets. These results establish compact VLMs as a unified and transferable backbone for generalist embodied navigation.

Atrial Fibrillation Detection with Arbitrary Leads via a Codebook-Based Reconstruction-Classification Framework

\textbf{Background and Objective}: Reliable atrial fibrillation (AF) detection from electrocardiogram (ECG) signals remains challenging in real-world clinical settings due to variable lead configurations, cross-dataset domain shifts, and pervasive physiological and technical artifacts. So we develop a robust and generalizable deep learning model for accurate AF detection.\\ \textbf{Methods}: We propose the Dual-Codebook Graph Collaborative Network (DCGCNet), a novel end-to-end vector-quantized variational autoencoder that jointly performs AF classification and ECG reconstruction. DCGCNet introduces two key components: (1) a Local-Global Contrastive Module for learning noise-invariant representations, and (2) an Adaptive Codebook Vector Quantizer that dynamically refines codebook prototypes to better align with input data distributions, thereby preventing codebook collapse and enhancing generalization.\\ \textbf{Results}: DCGCNet achieves state-of-the-art performance in standard intra-dataset 12-lead evaluation and demonstrates exceptional cross-dataset generalization across seven diverse settings, consistently attaining AUC > 0.98 in all cases. Furthermore, it maintains high diagnostic accuracy under realistic noisy conditions, including baseline wander, powerline interference, and EMG artifacts.\\ \textbf{Conclusions}: DCGCNet establishes a new benchmark for robust, generalizable, and noise-resilient AF detection, showing strong potential for deployment in real-world clinical environments.

Unified MRI Brain Image Translation via Hierarchical Tumor Structure Comparison

Multi-modal MRI brain image translation via available modalities holds significant practical importance in modern medicine, providing robust support for early diagnosis, treatment planning, and outcome assessment of diseases. For this purpose, it is important to ensure the fidelity of the tumor regions after translation. However, existing brain image translation methods ignore the structure information of different tumor regions, which could assist translation models in enhancing the quality and clinical applicability of the translated images. In this work, we propose a novel translation model called HTSCGAN, which is a unified multi-modal brain image translation generative adversarial model integrating the structural information within tumor regions with the aim of improving the quality of brain image translation. Specifically, the generator employs three Patch Contrast Module (PCM) with different patch sizes to capture the hierarchical structural information of the tumor regions. In addition, a pretrained Patch Classifier (PC) and a pretrained Structure-Aware Encoder (SAE) are employed to derive the generated image containing the same tumor region structure as the ground truth image via patch classification loss and tumor perceptual loss, respectively. The experiments on BraTS2020 and BraTS2021 demonstrate strong performance of our model in both translation tasks and down stream segmentation tasks, highlighting its effectiveness in enhancing the quality and clinical relevance of the translated brain images. FAME: Forecastability-Aware Mixture of Experts for Heterogeneous Time Series Forecasting

Large-scale retail and industrial forecasting systems contain many heterogeneous time series whose lifecycle, sparsity, volatility, seasonality, spectral patterns, and contextual sensitivity differ substantially. A single forecasting model rarely performs well across all regimes, while dense ensembles increase inference cost and provide limited insight into expert suitability. This paper studies forecastability-aware expert routing: learning how data characteristics determine the suitability of forecasting experts. We propose \method{}, a sparse mixture-of-experts framework that represents each series with a multidimensional forecastability fingerprint, mines expert-suitability targets from validation performance, and trains a cost-aware sparse router to activate a small budgeted set of experts for each series. Using a production-scale vending-machine sales dataset from Shandong New Beiyang (SNBC), where the forecasting component has been integrated into the replenishment-planning pipeline, together with public retail benchmarks, we show that expert suitability varies systematically across data regimes. On the industrial dataset with 5,000+ machines and 60M+ transactions, \method{} Top-2 reduces MSE by 12.4\% over the strongest single expert, LightGBM, while executing 1.92 experts per series on average. The deployed component produces demand forecasts, while inventory-oriented gains are estimated by an offline replay simulator under a fixed replenishment policy rather than by online intervention. The framework turns heterogeneous sales forecasting from heuristic model selection into data mining of forecastability patterns and expert specialization. Segmentation-Assisted Brain MRI Synthesis with Cross-Image Multi-Contrast Feature Memory Bank Retrieval Augmentation

Multi-contrast brain MRI provide complementary soft-tissue characteristics that aid in the screening and diagnosis of diseases. However, limited scanning time, image corruption and various imaging protocols often result in incomplete multi-contrast images. While current approaches excel in image synthesis, they often struggle to synthesize critical tumor regions and exploit contextual information in multi-contrast brain MRI effectively. To address this issue, we propose a synthesis-centric, segmentation-assisted closed-loop framework with retrieval augmentation synthesis. Our method overall takes a generative adversarial architecture, which aims to synthesize missing contrasts from any combination of available ones with a single model. To explicitly capture tumor semantics and focus synthesis on tumor regions, we add an auxiliary segmentation branch that predicts tumor masks and feeds them back as semantic conditioning in synthesis branch, thereby learning tumor-aware representations in the model and improving synthesis fidelity. Furthermore, we propose a dual-bank retrieval augmentation strategy. It dynamically queries two external knowledge bases, namely a tumor masks memory bank for crucial tumor context and cross-image contrast feature memory bank for global style information, to augment synthesis. Verified on two public multi-contrast magnetic resonance brain datasets: BraTs2020 and UCSF-BMSR, the proposed method is effective in handling medical brain images synthesis tasks and shows superior performance compared to previous methods. COLLAR: Cascaded Object-Level Latent Refinement for High-Fidelity Conditional Generation

Achieving high-fidelity object-level control in Diffusion Transformers remains a significant challenge despite the introduction of structural priors like depth and Canny maps. Current object-level conditional generation methods frequently suffer from visual artifacts and struggle to maintain precise control over objects within small localized regions. To address these limitations, we propose Cascaded Object-Level Latent Refinement (COLLAR), a training-free framework that progressively optimizes object-level features via the Field-of-View (FoV) expansion. First, we propose the Cross-Scale Semantic Alignment (CSSA) module to address spatial-semantic gaps by injecting object-level features into extended-FoV branches via attention mechanisms. To further optimize these features, the Cyclic Feature Injection (CFI) module introduces a reciprocal background feedback mechanism. It leverages a frequency-based adaptive strategy to selectively update the global backbone with context-aligned local information. Finally, the extended-FoV branch serves as a hub for feature optimization, ensuring that object-level features are integrated into the global generation process without compromising final image quality. Extensive experiments on the COCO-MIG and COCO-POS benchmarks demonstrate that our approach consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods across semantic alignment, image quality, and spatial fidelity.

Prior Knowledge-enhanced Spatio-temporal Epidemic Forecasting

Spatio-temporal epidemic forecasting is critical for public health management, yet existing methods often struggle with insensitivity to weak epidemic signals, over-simplified spatial relations, and unstable parameter estimation. To address these challenges, we propose the Spatio-Temporal priOr-aware Epidemic Predictor (STOEP), a novel hybrid framework that integrates implicit spatio-temporal priors and explicit expert priors. STOEP consists of three key components: (1) Case-aware Adjacency Learning (CAL), which dynamically adjusts mobility-based regional dependencies using historical infection patterns; (2) Space-informed Parameter Estimating (SPE), which employs learnable spatial priors to amplify weak epidemic signals; and (3) Filter-based Mechanistic Forecasting (FMF), which uses an expert-guided adaptive thresholding strategy to regularize epidemic parameters. Extensive experiments on real-world COVID-19 and influenza datasets demonstrate that STOEP outperforms the best baseline by 11.1% in RMSE. The system has been deployed at a provincial CDC in China to facilitate downstream applications.

HELLoRA: Hot Experts Layer-Level Low-Rank Adaptation for Mixture-of-Experts Models

Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) dominates parameter-efficient fine-tuning of large language models, yet most variants target dense architectures. Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) models scale parameters at near-constant per-token compute, and their sparse activation patterns create untapped opportunities for more efficient adaptation. We propose Hot-Experts Layer-level Low-Rank Adaptation (HELLoRA), which attaches LoRA modules only to the most frequently activated experts at each layer. This simple mechanism reduces trainable parameters and adapter-induced FLOPs while improving downstream performance, an effect we attribute to a form of structured regularization that preserves pretrained expert specialization. To stress-test HELLoRA under extreme parameter budgets, we further compose it with LoRI to form HELLoRI, which freezes the up-projection and sparsifies the down-projection. Across three MoE backbones, namely OlMoE-1B-7B, Mixtral-8x7B, and DeepSeekMoE, and three task families covering mathematical reasoning, code generation, and safety alignment, HELLoRA consistently outperforms strong PEFT baselines. Relative to vanilla LoRA on OlMoE, HELLoRA uses 15.7% of the trainable parameters, reduces adapter FLOPs by 38.7%, achieves 1.9x the training throughput, and improves accuracy by 9.2%. On DeepSeekMoE, HELLoRA outperforms LoRA while using only 23.2% of its trainable parameters. These results demonstrate that activation-aware adapter placement is an effective and practical route to scaling PEFT for MoE language models.

IOTEL: A Tool for Generating IoT-enriched Object-Centric Event Logs

Integrating Internet of Things (IoT) data with business process event logs is crucial for analysing IoT-enhanced processes, yet remains challenging due to differences in abstraction levels and the separation of data sources. Simply incorporating raw IoT data increases the size and complexity of the resulting log, often requiring additional processing before process analysis can be performed. While tools for generating IoT-enriched event logs exist, they either rely on specialised schemas or focus on extracting event logs from sensor data, offering limited support for integrating process-relevant IoT data into existing event logs. To address this gap, we present IOTEL, a tool for systematically generating IoT-enriched object-centric event logs (OCEL). By building on the OCEL schema, IOTEL enables structured IoT data integration compatible with existing process mining tools. It support practitioners and researchers in analysing IoT-enhanced business processes, as demonstrated in a real-world scenario. A video demonstrating the tool is available online.

CSPR-Net: Self-supervised Curved Surface Projection Rectification Network for Geometric Distortion Correction in Non-planar Projections

Projecting images onto non-planar surfaces inevitably introduces geometric distortions that degrade visual quality. Traditional correction methods often require tedious manual calibration or structured light sequences to establish pixel-wise correspondences. In this paper, we develop the Curved Surface Projection Rectification Network (CSPR-Net), a self-supervised deep learning framework for automated distortion correction. Our approach employs dual coordinate-based neural networks to learn the bi-directional mapping between the projector and camera spaces. By enforcing a robust cycle-consistency constraint, CSPR-Net autonomously resolves complex geometric transformations without requiring ground-truth deformation fields. Furthermore, a gradient-based loss function is introduced to mitigate the impact of complex ambient light interference and accurately capture high-frequency geometric variations. Quantitative evaluations in physical experimental scenarios demonstrate that CSPR-Net achieves a 20.7% improvement in end-to-end fidelity (SSIM) and outperforms the polynomial baseline by 3.8% and 5.4% in forward and inverse mapping in terms of SSIM respectively, effectively generating high-precision pre-warped images for seamless projection.

ASGMamba: Adaptive Spectral Gating Mamba for Multivariate Time Series Forecasting

Long-term multivariate time series forecasting (LTSF) plays a crucial role in various high-performance computing applications, including real-time energy grid management and large-scale traffic flow simulation. However, existing solutions face a dilemma: Transformer-based models suffer from quadratic complexity, limiting their scalability on long sequences, while linear State Space Models (SSMs) often struggle to distinguish valuable signals from high-frequency noise, leading to wasted state capacity. To bridge this gap, we propose ASGMamba, an efficient forecasting framework designed for resource-constrained supercomputing environments. ASGMamba integrates a lightweight Adaptive Spectral Gating (ASG) mechanism that dynamically filters noise based on local spectral energy, enabling the Mamba backbone to focus its state evolution on robust temporal dynamics. Furthermore, we introduce a hierarchical multi-scale architecture with variable-specific Node Embeddings to capture diverse physical characteristics. Extensive experiments on nine benchmarks demonstrate that ASGMamba achieves state-of-the-art accuracy. While keeping strictly $$\mathcal{O}(L)$$ complexity we significantly reduce the memory usage on long-horizon tasks, thus establishing ASGMamba as a scalable solution for high-throughput forecasting in resource limited environments. The code is available at https://github.com/hit636/ASGMamba

Dual-pronged deep learning preprocessing on heterogeneous platforms with CPU, Accelerator and CSD

For image-related deep learning tasks, the first step often involves reading data from external storage and performing preprocessing on the CPU. As accelerator speed increases and the number of single compute node accelerators increases, the computing and data transfer capabilities gap between accelerators and CPUs gradually increases. Data reading and preprocessing become progressively the bottleneck of these tasks. Our work, DDLP, addresses the data computing and transfer bottleneck of deep learning preprocessing using Computable Storage Devices (CSDs). DDLP allows the CPU and CSD to efficiently parallelize preprocessing from both ends of the datasets, respectively. To this end, we propose two adaptive dynamic selection strategies to make DDLP control the accelerator to automatically read data from different sources. The two strategies trade-off between consistency and efficiency. DDLP achieves sufficient computational overlap between CSD data preprocessing and CPU preprocessing, accelerator computation, and accelerator data reading. In addition, DDLP leverages direct storage technology to enable efficient SSD-to-accelerator data transfer. In addition, DDLP reduces the use of expensive CPU and DRAM resources with more energy-efficient CSDs, alleviating preprocessing bottlenecks while significantly reducing power consumption. Extensive experimental results show that DDLP can improve learning speed by up to 23.5% on ImageNet Dataset while reducing energy consumption by 19.7% and CPU and DRAM usage by 37.6%. DDLP also improves the learning speed by up to 27.6% on the Cifar-10 dataset.

Robust and Generalizable Atrial Fibrillation Detection from ECG Using Time-Frequency Fusion and Supervised Contrastive Learning

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a common cardiac arrhythmia that significantly increases the risk of stroke and heart failure, necessitating reliable and generalizable detection methods from electrocardiogram (ECG) recordings. Although deep learning has advanced automated AF diagnosis, existing approaches often struggle to exploit complementary time frequency information effectively, limiting both robustness under intra-dataset and generalization across diverse clinical datasets. To address these challenges, we propose a crossmodal deep learning framework comprising two key components: a Bidirectional Gating Module (BGM) and a Cross modal Supervised Contrastive Learning (CSCL) strategy. The BGM facilitates dynamic, reciprocal refinement between time and frequency domain features, enhancing model robustness to signal variations within a dataset. Meanwhile, CSCL explicitly structures the joint embedding space by pulling together label consistent samples and pushing apart different ones, thereby improving interclass separability and enabling strong cross dataset generalization. We evaluate our method using five fold crossvalidation on the AFDB and CPSC2021 datasets. Furthermore, to assess cross dataset generalization, we conduct bidirectional cross dataset experiments across AFDB, CPSC2021, LTAF, and SHDBAF by training on one dataset and testing on another. Results show consistent improvements over state of the art methods across multiple metrics, demonstrating that our approach achieves both high intra dataset robustness and excellent crossdataset generalization. We further demonstrate that our method achieves high computational efficiency and anti interference capability, making it suitable for edge deployment.

SageAttention3: Microscaling FP4 Attention for Inference and An Exploration of 8-Bit Training

The efficiency of attention is important due to its quadratic time complexity. We enhance the efficiency of attention through two key contributions: First, we leverage the new FP4 Tensor Cores in Blackwell GPUs to accelerate attention computation. Our implementation achieves 1038 TOPS on RTX5090, which is a 5x speedup over the fastest FlashAttention on RTX5090. Experiments show that our FP4 attention can accelerate inference of various models in a plug-and-play way. Second, we pioneer low-bit attention to training tasks. Existing low-bit attention works like FlashAttention3 and SageAttention focus only on inference. However, the efficiency of training large models is also important. To explore whether low-bit attention can be effectively applied to training tasks, we design an accurate and efficient 8-bit attention for both forward and backward propagation. Experiments indicate that 8-bit attention achieves lossless performance in fine-tuning tasks but exhibits slower convergence in pretraining tasks. SpargeAttention: Accurate and Training-free Sparse Attention Accelerating Any Model Inference

An efficient attention implementation is essential for large models due to its quadratic time complexity. Fortunately, attention commonly exhibits sparsity, i.e., many values in the attention map are near zero, allowing for the omission of corresponding computations. Many studies have utilized the sparse pattern to accelerate attention. However, most existing works focus on optimizing attention within specific models by exploiting certain sparse patterns of the attention map. A universal sparse attention that guarantees both the speedup and end-to-end performance of diverse models remains elusive. In this paper, we propose SpargeAttn, a universal sparse and quantized attention for any model. Our method uses a two-stage online filter: in the first stage, we rapidly and accurately predict the attention map, enabling the skip of some matrix multiplications in attention. In the second stage, we design an online softmax-aware filter that incurs no extra overhead and further skips some matrix multiplications. Experiments show that our method significantly accelerates diverse models, including language, image, and video generation, without sacrificing end-to-end metrics. The code is available at https://github.com/thu-ml/SpargeAttn.

Taiji: A DPU Memory Elasticity Solution for In-production Cloud Environments

The growth of cloud computing drives data centers toward higher density and efficiency. Data processing units (DPUs) enhance server network and storage performance but face challenges such as long hardware upgrade cycles and limited resources. To address these, we propose Taiji, a resource-elasticity architecture for DPUs. Combining hybrid virtualization with parallel memory swapping, Taiji switches the DPU's operating system (OS) into a guest OS and inserts a lightweight virtualization layer, making nearly all DPU memory swappable. It achieves memory overcommitment for the switched guest OS via high-performance memory elasticity, fully transparent to upper-layer applications, and supports hot-switch and hot-upgrade to meet in-production cloud requirements. Experiments show that Taiji expands DPU memory resources by over 50%, maintains virtualization overhead around 5%, and ensures 90% of swap-ins complete within 10 microseconds. Taiji delivers an efficient, reliable, low-overhead elasticity solution for DPUs and is deployed in large-scale production systems across more than 30,000 servers.

Vmem: A Lightweight Hot-Upgradable Memory Management for In-production Cloud Environment

Traditional memory management suffers from metadata overhead, architectural complexity, and stability degradation, problems intensified in cloud environments. Existing software/hardware optimizations are insufficient for cloud computing's dual demands of flexibility and low overhead. This paper presents Vmem, a memory management architecture for in-production cloud environments that enables flexible, efficient cloud server memory utilization through lightweight reserved memory management. Vmem is the first such architecture to support online upgrades, meeting cloud requirements for high stability and rapid iterative evolution. Experiments show Vmem increases sellable memory rate by about 2%, delivers extreme elasticity and performance, achieves over 3x faster boot time for VFIO-based virtual machines (VMs), and improves network performance by about 10% for DPU-accelerated VMs. Vmem has been deployed at large scale for seven years, demonstrating efficiency and stability on over 300,000 cloud servers supporting hundreds of millions of VMs.

AWEMixer: Adaptive Wavelet-Enhanced Mixer Network for Long-Term Time Series Forecasting

Forecasting long-term time series in IoT environments remains a significant challenge due to the non-stationary and multi-scale characteristics of sensor signals. Furthermore, error accumulation causes a decrease in forecast quality when predicting further into the future. Traditional methods are restricted to operate in time-domain, while the global frequency information achieved by Fourier transform would be regarded as stationary signals leading to blur the temporal patterns of transient events. We propose AWEMixer, an Adaptive Wavelet-Enhanced Mixer Network including two innovative components: 1) a Frequency Router designs to utilize the global periodicity pattern achieved by Fast Fourier Transform to adaptively weight localized wavelet subband, and 2) a Coherent Gated Fusion Block to achieve selective integration of prominent frequency features with multi-scale temporal representation through cross-attention and gating mechanism, which realizes accurate time-frequency localization while remaining robust to noise. Seven public benchmarks validate that our model is more effective than recent state-of-the-art models. Specifically, our model consistently achieves performance improvement compared with transformer-based and MLP-based state-of-the-art models in long-sequence time series forecasting.
