Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR Technical Report

In recent years, automatic speech recognition (ASR) has witnessed transformative advancements driven by three complementary paradigms: data scaling, model scaling, and deep integration with large language models (LLMs). However, bridging the gap between academic benchmark performance and real-world production utility remains a persistent challenge, particularly in handling diverse regional dialects, dynamic entities and hotwords, long-range contextual information, and disfluent spontaneous speech. In this report, we present Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR, a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) LLM-based ASR system designed to address these production demands through a unified, instruction-following framework. The model is built upon the Qwen backbone, and is trained on tens of millions of hours of large-scale speech data. Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR supports transcription across 30 languages and 16 Chinese dialectal varieties spanning eight major dialect regions. Beyond multilingual and dialectal recognition, the model provides production-oriented capabilities including industry-domain entity recognition, hierarchical hotword customization, native single-pass transcription polishing, and long-audio contextual modeling. We further develop a dedicated streaming variant, Qwen-Audio-3.0-ASR-Streaming, for latency-sensitive applications. Extensive evaluations on Chinese, English, multilingual, and real-world industrial test sets demonstrate state-of-the-art or highly competitive recognition performance across a broad range of evaluation conditions, with strong performance relative to leading commercial and proprietary systems including GPT-4o Transcribe and Gemini 3.1 Pro.

VibeVoice-ASR-Streaming Technical Report

Traditional speaker-attributed ASR systems treated ASR and speaker diarization as two separate tasks. Recently, end-to-end models such as VibeVoice-ASR have unified the two tasks within a single model. However, existing unified models still mainly support offline recognition, making it difficult to meet the low-latency requirements of real-time voice assistants and agents. To tackle this issue, we present VibeVoice-ASR-Streaming, one of the first LLM-based end-to-end approaches to streaming speaker-attributed ASR. It interleaves fixed-size audio chunks, a small amount of lookahead audio and previous text. This allows the model to produce ''who said what'' as speech arrives, without a separate diarization stage. For transcription accuracy, our 7B model achieves the lowest average WER/CER across five evaluation sets. For speaker attribution, it achieves the best or tied-best on 12 of 13 evaluation settings. We release the 1.5B and 7B model weights together with inference code.

TAG-Bench: Benchmarking Temporal Audio Grounding in Large Audio Language Models

Large audio language models (LALMs) can describe what is heard, but their ability to localize when queried content occurs remains less systematically evaluated. We present TAG-Bench, a benchmark for temporal audio grounding in which a model returns every time interval that matches a natural-language query. TAG-Bench contains 1,750 human-verified query-recording pairs covering 149.5 hours, with eight source-dependent subsets spanning query categories and audio durations from 7 s to 20 min; 22.1% of the queries have multiple ground-truth intervals. Across 21 evaluated systems, the best-performing model achieves 31.2 mIoU and is the only system above 20 mIoU on the two long subsets, yet even this top performer reaches only 21.5% recall at IoU >= 0.7. Moreover, 9 of 21 systems fall below 5 mIoU, and every model under-reports the number of occurrences on one-to-many queries, with none exceeding 13.2% count accuracy. Because responses are free-form, we report parsing-failure rate and MAE coverage: parsing failures remain in mIoU, Recall, gIoU, and count metrics as empty predictions but do not enter MAE. The results separate precise localization, occurrence enumeration, and output-format reliability within a benchmark whose cross-subset comparisons are descriptive rather than controlled estimates of query abstraction or duration. We will release the TAG-Bench data and evaluation code to support future research.

Beyond Reconstruction: Full-Context Generative DiT for Music Generation

Hybrid music generators combine the long-range planning of an autoregressive language model with the fidelity of a diffusion- or flow-based acoustic renderer. Yet renderers are trained with clean, target-derived codec tokens but deployed with imperfect language-model predictions, creating codecinterface exposure bias. Rather than treating rendering as a simple reconstruction task,we formulate it as full-context generation from an imperfect discrete plan. We introduce FullDiT, a conditional DiT that fuses eight frame-aligned RVQ streams with independently encoded captions and lyrics and uses non-causal self-attention over the complete acoustic latent sequence. During training, Error-Matched Distractor Conditioning (EMDC) matches per-codebook replacement rates to teacher-forced top-1 error rates and samples near-miss tokens from cosine-KNN neighborhoods without changing the acoustic target. At inference, four-way classifier-free guidance (4-CFG) independently scales codec, lyric, and caption guidance increments. Matched ablations show that EMDC improves ViSQOL by 0.77 under synthetic corruption and is clearly preferred in non-tied comparisons with fixed languagemodel tokens. Further ablations show gains from full-song context and renderer-side text conditioning. The complete system outperforms five commercial systems on 15 of 18 automatic metrics and ranks among the top three on the Artificial Analysis Music with Vocals Leaderboard. VibeVoice-ASR-BitNet Technical Report

We present VibeVoice-ASR-BitNet, a compressed variant of VibeVoice-ASR optimized for real-time inference on edge CPUs. We apply heterogeneous quantization tailored to the computational characteristics of each stage: the VAE acoustic tokenizer uses full-pipeline INT8 quantization (I8_S) with kernel fusion and SIMD optimization, while the autoregressive language model adopts BitNet-style ternary weights (I2_S). To preserve accuracy under aggressive compression, we employ a progressive quantization-aware training strategy. For inference, we implement custom SIMD kernels and fused operators within the ggml framework targeting both ARM and x86 platforms, achieving real-time recognition (RTF < 1) on low-thread-count CPUs. VibeVoice-ASR-BitNet is 1.6--2.3x faster than Whisper.cpp at comparable model sizes (~1.6 GB), with only modest accuracy degradation compared to the FP16 baseline.

Pushing the Frontier of Full-Song Generation: Hierarchical Autoregressive Planning Meets Flow-Matching Rendering

In this report, we present a unified song generation framework capable of producing high-quality full-length music from lyrics, text descriptions, and musical attributes. The proposed framework supports three tasks: Lyrics-to-Song Generation, which generates complete songs from text descriptions, lyrics, and musical attributes; Instrumental Music Generation, which creates music without vocals; and Cover Song Generation, which reinterprets existing songs with different styles while preserving their melodic content. Architecturally, our system consists of four main components: a semantic-aware tokenizer, hybird-LM, FullDiT, and a two-level melody module. The tokenizer encodes audio into 8-codebook RVQ tokens for efficient discrete music representation. Based on these tokens, hybird-LM performs hierarchical autoregressive audio-token modeling for full-song generation. To improve audio fidelity, FullDiT performs full-song flow matching in a continuous VAE latent space conditioned on codec tokens, lyrics, and text captions. For cover song generation, the melody module extracts and discretizes melody cues from reference audio to guide generation while preserving the original melodic content. Finally, we investigate DPO, GRPO, and OPD as reward-based post-training strategies for hybird-LM and apply flow-based GRPO to FullDiT to improve musicality and rendering quality. Experimental results on a multilingual automatic benchmark, complemented by the Artificial Analysis Music with Vocals leaderboard, show that the proposed framework achieves competitive performance in the evaluated settings.

LeVo 2: Stable and Melodious Song Generation via Hierarchical Representation Modeling and Progressive Post-Training

Full-length song generation must preserve coherence and musicality, render detailed vocal and accompaniment acoustics, and follow lyrics and prompts. Existing language model-based systems face a structural trade-off: mixed-token modeling preserves vocal-instrument coordination but obscures track-specific details, whereas dual-track prediction improves acoustics but requires longer sequences and weakens global planning. We present LeVo 2, a hybrid LLM-Diffusion framework for controllable full-length song generation. LeVo 2 formulates this trade-off as hierarchical modeling: LeLM first predicts mixed tokens for semantic planning, then predicts vocal and accompaniment tokens in parallel for track-specific refinement, while a diffusion-based Music Codec reconstructs full-length waveforms. A central contribution of this extended version is an aesthetics-guided training schedule for alignment. During pre-training, an automated music aesthetic evaluation framework assigns musicality-tier conditions to large-scale data, providing musicality priors before preference alignment. Progressive post-training applies SFT, large-scale offline DPO, and closed-loop semi-online DPO to separately improve generation quality, controllability, and musicality. Modular extension then trains the Track-Specific LM for acoustic refinement while preserving the aligned semantic planner. This schedule separates musicality learning, controllability alignment, and acoustic refinement, mitigating optimization conflict and the limitations of static offline preference pairs. Expert listening tests and objective evaluations show that LeVo 2 outperforms open-source baselines across six subjective dimensions, and approaches leading commercial systems on several listening metrics. Ablations validate the effects of the training strategy, aesthetics guidance, scaling, and hierarchical architecture.

GigaSpeechBench: A Real-World Multilingual Speech-to-Text Benchmark

While modern ASR systems achieve low error rates on high-resource benchmarks, such performance often overestimates real-world robustness. Existing evaluations address challenges in isolation, lacking a unified benchmark for domain terminology, age variation, dialects, accents, and low-resource languages, particularly across the Middle East and Southeast Asia, representing over one billion under-evaluated speakers. To address this gap, we introduce GigaSpeechBench, a comprehensive multilingual and multidimensional in-the-wild ASR & AST benchmark comprising 680 hours of human-annotated speech. It features five modules: (1) 12 low-resource Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian languages, plus challenging Japanese and Korean; (2) 6 Chinese dialects; (3) 6 English accents; (4) dense terminology across 12 vertical domains for Chinese and English; and (5) older adult and child speech. We further provide human-annotated Chinese and English translations for 11 languages to support AST evaluation. Extensive evaluations of leading foundation models and commercial APIs reveal significant performance degradation in these challenging settings, exposing critical evaluation blind spots.

Audio ControlNet for Fine-Grained Audio Generation and Editing

We study the fine-grained text-to-audio (T2A) generation task. While recent models can synthesize high-quality audio from text descriptions, they often lack precise control over attributes such as loudness, pitch, and sound events. Unlike prior approaches that retrain models for specific control types, we propose to train ControlNet models on top of pre-trained T2A backbones to achieve controllable generation over loudness, pitch, and event roll. We introduce two designs, T2A-ControlNet and T2A-Adapter, and show that the T2A-Adapter model offers a more efficient structure with strong control ability. With only 38M additional parameters, T2A-Adapter achieves state-of-the-art performance on the AudioSet-Strong in both event-level and segment-level F1 scores. We further extend this framework to audio editing, proposing T2A-Editor for removing and inserting audio events at time locations specified by instructions. Models, code, dataset pipelines, and benchmarks will be released to support future research on controllable audio generation and editing.

VIBEVOICE-ASR Technical Report

This report presents VibeVoice-ASR, a general-purpose speech understanding framework built upon VibeVoice, designed to address the persistent challenges of context fragmentation and multi-speaker complexity in long-form audio (e.g., meetings, podcasts) that remain despite recent advancements in short-form speech recognition. Unlike traditional pipelined approaches that rely on audio chunking, VibeVoice-ASRsupports single-pass processing for up to 60 minutes of audio. It unifies Automatic Speech Recognition, Speaker Diarization, and Timestamping into a single end-to-end generation task. In addition, VibeVoice-ASR supports over 50 languages, requires no explicit language setting, and natively handles code-switching within and across utterances. Furthermore, we introduce a prompt-based context injection mechanism that allows users to supply customized conetxt, significantly improving accuracy on domain-specific terminology and polyphonic character disambiguation.

A Unified Neural Codec Language Model for Selective Editable Text to Speech Generation

Neural codec language models achieve impressive zero-shot Text-to-Speech (TTS) by fully imitating the acoustic characteristics of a short speech prompt, including timbre, prosody, and paralinguistic information. However, such holistic imitation limits their ability to isolate and control individual attributes. In this paper, we present a unified codec language model SpeechEdit that extends zero-shot TTS with a selective control mechanism. By default, SpeechEdit reproduces the complete acoustic profile inferred from the speech prompt, but it selectively overrides only the attributes specified by explicit control instructions. To enable controllable modeling, SpeechEdit is trained on our newly constructed LibriEdit dataset, which provides delta (difference-aware) training pairs derived from LibriHeavy. Experimental results show that our approach maintains naturalness and robustness while offering flexible and localized control over desired attributes. Audio samples are available at https://speech-editing.github.io/speech-editing/.

SKYLENAGE Technical Report: Mathematical Reasoning and Contest-Innovation Benchmarks for Multi-Level Math Evaluation

Large language models (LLMs) now perform strongly on many public math suites, yet frontier separation within mathematics increasingly suffers from ceiling effects. We present two complementary benchmarks: SKYLENAGE-ReasoningMATH, a 100-item, structure-aware diagnostic set with per-item metadata on length, numeric density, and symbolic complexity; and SKYLENAGE-MATH, a 150-item contest-style suite spanning four stages from high school to doctoral under a seven-subject taxonomy. We evaluate fifteen contemporary LLM variants under a single setup and analyze subject x model and grade x model performance. On the contest suite, the strongest model reaches 44% while the runner-up reaches 37%; accuracy declines from high school to doctoral, and top systems exhibit a doctoral-to-high-school retention near 79%. On the reasoning set, the best model attains 81% overall, and hardest-slice results reveal clear robustness gaps between leaders and the mid-tier. In summary, we release SKYLENAGE-ReasoningMATH and report aggregate results for SKYLENAGE-MATH; together, SKYLENAGE provides a hard, reasoning-centered and broadly covering math benchmark with calibrated difficulty and rich metadata, serving as a reference benchmark for future evaluations of mathematical reasoning.

SongPrep: A Preprocessing Framework and End-to-end Model for Full-song Structure Parsing and Lyrics Transcription

Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) is currently a popular research area. Among its various branches, song generation has attracted growing interest. Despite the abundance of available songs, effective data preparation remains a significant challenge. Converting these songs into training-ready datasets typically requires extensive manual labeling, which is both time consuming and costly. To address this issue, we propose SongPrep, an automated preprocessing pipeline designed specifically for song data. This framework streamlines key processes such as source separation, structure analysis, and lyric recognition, producing structured data that can be directly used to train song generation models. Furthermore, we introduce SongPrepE2E, an end-to-end structured lyrics recognition model based on pretrained language models. Without the need for additional source separation, SongPrepE2E is able to analyze the structure and lyrics of entire songs and provide precise timestamps. By leveraging context from the whole song alongside pretrained semantic knowledge, SongPrepE2E achieves low Diarization Error Rate (DER) and Word Error Rate (WER) on the proposed SSLD-200 dataset. Downstream tasks demonstrate that training song generation models with the data output by SongPrepE2E enables the generated songs to closely resemble those produced by humans.

VibeVoice Technical Report

This report presents VibeVoice, a novel model designed to synthesize long-form speech with multiple speakers by employing next-token diffusion, which is a unified method for modeling continuous data by autoregressively generating latent vectors via diffusion. To enable this, we introduce a novel continuous speech tokenizer that, when compared to the popular Encodec model, improves data compression by 80 times while maintaining comparable performance. The tokenizer effectively preserves audio fidelity while significantly boosting computational efficiency for processing long sequences. Thus, VibeVoice can synthesize long-form speech for up to 90 minutes (in a 64K context window length) with a maximum of 4 speakers, capturing the authentic conversational ``vibe'' and surpassing open-source and proprietary dialogue models.

LeVo: High-Quality Song Generation with Multi-Preference Alignment

Recent advances in large language models (LLMs) and audio language models have significantly improved music generation, particularly in lyrics-to-song generation. However, existing approaches still struggle with the complex composition of songs and the scarcity of high-quality data, leading to limitations in audio quality, musicality, instruction following, and vocal-instrument harmony. To address these challenges, we introduce LeVo, a language model based framework consisting of LeLM and Music Codec. LeLM is capable of parallel modeling of two types of tokens: mixed tokens, which represent the combined audio of vocals and accompaniment to achieve better vocal-instrument harmony, and dual-track tokens, which separately encode vocals and accompaniment for high-quality song generation. It employs two decoder-only transformers and a modular extension training strategy to prevent interference between different token types. To further enhance musicality and instruction following ability, we introduce a multi-preference alignment method based on Direct Preference Optimization (DPO). This method handles diverse human preferences through a semi-automatic data construction process and post-training. Experimental results demonstrate that LeVo significantly outperforms existing open-source methods in both objective and subjective metrics, while performing competitively with industry systems. Ablation studies further justify the effectiveness of our designs. Audio examples and source code are available at https://levo-demo.github.io and https://github.com/tencent-ailab/songgeneration.

SongBloom: Coherent Song Generation via Interleaved Autoregressive Sketching and Diffusion Refinement

Generating music with coherent structure, harmonious instrumental and vocal elements remains a significant challenge in song generation. Existing language models and diffusion-based methods often struggle to balance global coherence with local fidelity, resulting in outputs that lack musicality or suffer from incoherent progression and mismatched lyrics. This paper introduces $\textbf{SongBloom}$, a novel framework for full-length song generation that leverages an interleaved paradigm of autoregressive sketching and diffusion-based refinement. SongBloom employs an autoregressive diffusion model that combines the high fidelity of diffusion models with the scalability of language models. Specifically, it gradually extends a musical sketch from short to long and refines the details from coarse to fine-grained. The interleaved generation paradigm effectively integrates prior semantic and acoustic context to guide the generation process. Experimental results demonstrate that SongBloom outperforms existing methods across both subjective and objective metrics and achieves performance comparable to the state-of-the-art commercial music generation platforms. Audio samples are available on our demo page: https://cypress-yang.github.io/SongBloom_demo. The code and model weights have been released on https://github.com/Cypress-Yang/SongBloom .

WAKE: Watermarking Audio with Key Enrichment

As deep learning advances in audio generation, challenges in audio security and copyright protection highlight the need for robust audio watermarking. Recent neural network-based methods have made progress but still face three main issues: preventing unauthorized access, decoding initial watermarks after multiple embeddings, and embedding varying lengths of watermarks. To address these issues, we propose WAKE, the first key-controllable audio watermark framework. WAKE embeds watermarks using specific keys and recovers them with corresponding keys, enhancing security by making incorrect key decoding impossible. It also resolves the overwriting issue by allowing watermark decoding after multiple embeddings and supports variable-length watermark insertion. WAKE outperforms existing models in both watermarked audio quality and watermark detection accuracy. Code, more results, and demo page: https://thuhcsi.github.io/WAKE.
