Non-uniform dependence for the Novikov equation in Besov spaces

In this paper, we investigate the dependence on initial data of solutions to the Novikov equation. We show that the solution map is not uniformly continuous dependence on the initial data in Besov spaces $B^s_{p,r}(\R),\ s>\max\{1+\frac 1p,\frac32\}$.

Non-uniform dependence on initial data for the Euler equations in Besov spaces

In the paper, we consider the initial value problem to the higher dimensional Euler equations in the whole space. Based on the new technical which is developed in \cite{Li2}, we proved that the data-to-solution map of this problem is not uniformly continuous in nonhomogeneous Besov spaces in the sense of Hadamard. Our obtained result improves considerably the recent result given by Pastrana \cite{Pastrana}.

Non-uniform dependence on initial data for the Camassa-Holm equation in Besov spaces

In the paper, we consider the initial value problem to the Camassa-Holm equation in the real-line case. Based on the local well-posedness result and the lifespan, we proved that the data-to-solution map of this problem is not uniformly continuous in nonhomogeneous Besov spaces in the sense of Hadamard. Our obtained result improves considerably the result in \cite{H-K}.

An Extension of Tychonoff Fixed Point Theorem

In this paper, we introduce the concepts of weaknorm, quasi-weaknorm on real vector spaces. By these concepts, we introduce the concept of quasi-locally convex topological vector spaces, which include locally convex topological vector spaces as special cases. By the Fan-KKM theorem, we prove a fixed point theorem in quasi-locally convex topological vector spaces, that is a natural extension of Tychonoff fixed point theorem in locally convex topological vector spaces. Then we provide an example to show that this extension is a proper extension.

Global smooth solutions of the damped Boussinesq equations with a class of large initial data

The global regularity problem concerning the inviscid Boussinesq equations remains an open problem. In an attempt to understand this problem, we examine the damped Boussinesq equations and study how damping affects the regularity of solutions. In this paper, we consider the global existence to the damped Boussinesq equations with a class of large initial data, whose $B^{s}_{p,r}$ or $\dot{B}^{s}_{p,r}$ norms can be arbitrarily large. The idea is splitting the linear Boussinesq equations from the damped Boussinesq equations, the exponentially decaying solution of the former equations together with the structure of the Boussinesq equations help us to obtain the global smooth solutions.

Global smooth solutions of the generalized MHD equations with large data

In this paper, we consider the Cauchy problem of the multi-dimensional generalized MHD system in the whole space and construct global smooth solutions with a class of large initial data by exploring the structure of the nonlinear term. Precisely speaking, our choice of special initial data whose $L^{\infty}$ norm can be arbitrarily large allows to generate global-in-time solutions to the generalized MHD system.

Global smooth solutions of the 3D Hall-magnetohydrodynamic equations with large data

In this paper, we establish the global existence to the three-dimensional incompressible Hall-MHD equations for a class of large initial data, whose $L^{\infty}$ norms can be arbitrarily large. In addition , we give an example to show that such a large initial value does exist. Our idea is splitting the generalized heat equations from Hall-MHD system to generate a small quantity for large time $t$.

Global large solutions for the Navier-Stokes equations with the Coriolis force

In this paper, we construct a class of global large solution to the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations with the Coriolis force in critical Fourier-Besov space $\dot{FB}^{2-\frac{3}{p}}_{p,r}(\mathbb{R}^3)$. In fact, our choice of special initial data $u_0$ can be arbitrarily large in $\dot{FB}^{s}_{p,r}(\mathbb{R}^3)$ for any $s\in\mathbb{R}$ and $1\leq p,r\leq \infty$.

Remarks on the global large solution to the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations

In this paper, we derive a new smallness hypothesis of initial data for the three-dimensional incompressible Navier-Stokes equations. That is, we prove that there exist two positive constants $c_0,C_0$ such that if \begin{equation*} \|u_0^1+u^2_0,u^3_0\|_{\dot{B}_{p,1}^{-1+\frac{3}{p}}} \|u^1_0,u^2_0\|_{\dot{B}_{p,1}^{-1+\frac{3}{p}}} \exp\{C_0 (\|u_0\|^{2}_{\dot{B}_{\infty,2}^{-1}}+\|u_0\|_{\dot{B}_{\infty,1}^{-1}})\} \leq c_0, \end{equation*} then \eqref{NS} has a unique global solution. As an application we construct two family of smooth solutions to the Navier-Stokes equations whose $\B^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}(\mathbb{R}^3)$ norm can be arbitrarily large.

Global large solution to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in critical Besov space $\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}$

In this paper, we construct a class of global large solution to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations in the whole space $\R^d$. Precisely speaking, our choice of special initial data whose $\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}$ norm can be arbitrarily large, namely, $||u_0||_{\dot{B}^{-1}_{\infty,\infty}}\gg 1$, allows to give rise to global-in-time solution to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations.

Non-uniform continuous dependence and continuous dependence for the non-resistive MHD equations

In this paper, we establish the continuous dependence for the non-resistive MHD equations in Sobolev spaces. Our obtained result fills considerably the recent result [C. Fefferman, D. McCormick, J. Robinson and J. Rodrigo, Higher order commutator estimates and local existence for the non-resistive MHD equations and related models, J. Funct. Anal. 267 (2014), 1035--1056] for the continuous dependence on initial data. We also show that this result is optimal. More precisely, we proved that the data-to-solution map is not uniform continuous dependence in Sobolev spaces.
