SAM 3D Animal: Promptable Animal 3D Reconstruction from Images in the Wild

3D animal reconstruction in the wild remains challenging due to large species variation, frequent occlusions, and the prevalence of multi-animal scenes, while existing methods predominantly focus on single-animal settings. We present SAM 3D Animal, the first promptable framework for multi-animal 3D reconstruction from a single image. Built on the SMAL+ parametric animal model, our method jointly reconstructs multiple instances and supports flexible prompts in the form of keypoints and masks which enable more reliable disambiguation in crowded and occluded scenes. To train such a model, we further introduce Herd3D, a multi-animal 3D dataset containing over 5K images, designed to increase diversity in species, interactions, and occlusion patterns. Experiments on the Animal3D, APTv2, and Animal Kingdom datasets show that our framework achieves state-of-the-art results over both existing model-based and model-free methods, demonstrating a scalable and effective solution for prompt-driven animal 3D reconstruction in the wild.

MemReg: Streaming Outdoor LiDAR Point Cloud Registration with Hybrid Memory Buffers

Prior outdoor LiDAR registration works are commonly limited by the pair-wise input paradigm, which neglects temporal correlations inherent within streaming sequences. In this paper, we propose a novel multi-frame outdoor point cloud registration network for streaming LiDAR scans enhanced with pose-related memory buffers. The key observation is that long-term temporal LiDAR sequences can provide rich global contextual information to complete sparse measurements, filter outliers, and address low-overlap problems, thereby boosting registration performance. Specifically, two hybrid memory buffers are designed, including an implicit memory feature buffer and an explicit memory pose buffer, to store and dynamically update pose-related temporal features. Moreover, a novel dynamic history weighting module is developed to adaptively fuse current and history pose-related features. Extensive experiments on three outdoor datasets, including KITTI, nuScenes, and Apollo-Southbay, demonstrate state-of-the-art performance of MemReg, surpassing all previous pair-wise methods and also multi-frame SLAM systems. Our method also generalizes surprisingly well to multiview indoor registration scenarios with rather competitive performance on 3DMatch, 3DLoMatch, and ScanNet. Code will be released at https://github.com/IRMVLab/MemReg.

MESSENGER: Memory-Enhanced Sequential Scene Flow Estimation via Autoregressive Next-Frame Forecasting

Scene flow can capture low-level 3D motion displacements in dynamic scenarios. Early pairwise estimators relying on instantaneous two-frame motion lack long-term temporal correlation and also struggle with poor extrapolation ability in future prediction. Although some recent methods attempt to explore multi-frame scene flow estimation in a sequence-to-sequence manner, they typically suffer from heavy computational overhead with increasing input frames and long-horizon prediction degradation due to ineffective motion propagation. To address these problems, we propose a novel memory-enhanced sequential scene flow pipeline, called MESSENGER. To sufficiently mine long-term temporal dependencies naturally within consecutive sequences, a memory buffer is designed by explicitly storing multiple history flow estimates and latent states. For each input frame, the temporally stored flows and states are correlated and retrieved to predict the current initialized flow in a next-frame forecasting manner. Furthermore, we develop an uncertainty-aware reweighting module to filter unreliable retrievals and mitigate accumulated errors. Extensive experiments on nuScenes and Argoverse 2 demonstrate state-of-the-art performance of our MESSENGER, reducing EPE3D by 71.6% on nuScenes and 67.7% on Argoverse 2 in long-horizon future extrapolation. This superiority can be attributed to our designed autoregressive forecasting paradigm, which naturally forces the network to progressively learn the next-frame distribution based on history observations. Code will be released at https://github.com/liujiuming123/Messenger.

Artemis: Geometry-Grounded Multi-Agent Driving World Models with Shared 3D State and Progressive Memory Update

Recent video world models have witnessed the paradigm shift from single-agent to multi-agent involvements, which can reveal more complicated dynamics and cross-agent interaction in the real world. However, existing approaches commonly adopt implicit inter-agent communications via cross attention, which lack explicit geometry constraints and unified 3D state, thereby leading to poor multi-view consistency and struggling with recovering out-of-sight agents. In addition, most of them assume a static background, failing to represent uncontrolled background dynamics. To address these problems, we propose Artemis: a geometry-grounded multi-agent world model with explicit memory sharing. An explicit 3D world map is reconstructed from multi-agent observations to enforce a unified 3D state across agents, offering high cross-view consistency. Specifically, an action-guided geometric injection module is developed to simultaneously render decomposed foreground-background control maps, which are then injected into a diffusion transformer through a designed GeoAdapter block. Compared to previous methods assuming static-only background, our GeoAdapter can also distinguish uncontrolled non-agent dynamics, which are conditioned on their own multi-frame history positions to provide consistent motion cues. Keyframes selected from progressive video rollouts are used to progressively update the reconstructed 3D world maps. To effectively capture complex dynamic patterns, we curate a novel dataset sampled from the CARLA simulator called MA-CARLA. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method in terms of visual fidelity and cross-view consistency in the generated videos. In addition, our Artemis can support simultaneous multi-modal rollouts with both 2D video and 3D point map maintenance, scale to scenarios beyond two agents and multi-camera setting.

CycleVLA: Proactive Self-Correcting Vision-Language-Action Models via Subtask Backtracking and Minimum Bayes Risk Decoding

Current work on robot failure detection and correction typically operates in a post hoc manner, analyzing errors and applying corrections only after failures occur. This work introduces CycleVLA, a system that equips Vision-Language-Action models (VLAs) with proactive self-correction, the capability to anticipate incipient failures and recover before they fully manifest during execution. CycleVLA achieves this by integrating a progress-aware VLA that flags critical subtask transition points where failures most frequently occur, a VLM-based failure predictor and planner that triggers subtask backtracking upon predicted failure, and a test-time scaling strategy based on Minimum Bayes Risk (MBR) decoding to improve retry success after backtracking. Extensive experiments on the LIBERO and LIBERO-Plus simulation benchmarks show that CycleVLA surpasses the state-of-the-art VLA π0.5, improves success rates by correcting execution failures across VLAs of varying capability, from under-trained ones to fully converged policies, and that MBR serves as an effective zero-shot test-time scaling strategy for VLAs. On a real robot, CycleVLA reaches a 91% average success rate on one precise and two long-horizon manipulation tasks. We further conduct stress tests with multiple manually injected perturbations (e.g., swapping in a distractor at the expected location while relocating the true target object mid-execution), where CycleVLA corrects ~80% of injected failures and maintains success rates comparable to unperturbed execution. UNIVERSE: Unified Video Action Models for Autonomous Driving with Flexible Mask-Modulated Modality Generation

World Action Models (WAMs) have shown strong potential for improving action generalization in autonomous driving by using future video prediction as dense supervision for scene dynamics and temporal causality. However, it remains unclear which architecture better transfers video-modeling benefits to trajectory generation. Existing cascaded or dual-DiT designs separate video imagination from action prediction, weakening the transfer of video-learned world dynamics to the trajectory branch: the action model may still overfit dataset-specific driving priors, while the video model only indirectly regularizes planning. We propose UNIVERSE, a unified video-action model built upon a single mask-modulated Diffusion Transformer. By co-training future video latents and ego-trajectory tokens within shared generative parameters, UNIVERSE allows dense video supervision to directly shape trajectory denoising, leading to stronger cross-domain action generalization. To ensure causal validity and efficient deployment, we introduce a Modality-Decoupling Visibility Mask, which shares historical context across modalities while blocking mutual attention between future video and trajectory tokens. This prevents future-target leakage and enables trajectory-only inference by removing future-video denoising at test time, achieving a $4.3\times$ speedup over joint video-action rollout while maintaining comparable planning accuracy. The same model also supports video-only and joint video-action rollouts. Experiments show that UNIVERSE achieves 91.0 PDMS on NAVSIM (vs. 89.6 for the Two-DiT variant), and demonstrates strong zero-shot transfer to nuScenes and Bench2Drive without fine-tuning, while ablations confirm the importance of single-DiT unification, video co-training, and mask-based modality decoupling.

DriveVA: Video Action Models are Zero-Shot Drivers

Generalization is a central challenge in autonomous driving, as real-world deployment requires robust performance under unseen scenarios, sensor domains, and environmental conditions. Recent world-model-based planning methods have shown strong capabilities in scene understanding and multi-modal future prediction, yet their generalization across datasets and sensor configurations remains limited. In addition, their loosely coupled planning paradigm often leads to poor video-trajectory consistency during visual imagination. To overcome these limitations, we propose DriveVA, a novel autonomous driving world model that jointly decodes future visual forecasts and action sequences in a shared latent generative process. DriveVA inherits rich priors on motion dynamics and physical plausibility from well-pretrained large-scale video generation models to capture continuous spatiotemporal evolution and causal interaction patterns. To this end, DriveVA employs a DiT-based decoder to jointly predict future action sequences (trajectories) and videos, enabling tighter alignment between planning and scene evolution. We also introduce a video continuation strategy to strengthen long-duration rollout consistency. DriveVA achieves an impressive PDM-based planning performance of 90.9 PDM score on the NAVSIM benchmark. Extensive experiments also demonstrate the zero-shot capability and cross-domain generalization of DriveVA, which reduces average L2 error and collision rate by 78.9% and 83.3% on nuScenes and 52.5% and 52.4% on the Bench2Drive built on CARLA v2 compared with the state-of-the-art world-model-based planner.

Revisiting Chain-of-Thought Reasoning under Limited Supervision: Semi-supervised Chain-of-Thought Learning

Chain-of-thought (CoT) reasoning has emerged as an effective approach for activating latent reasoning capabilities in large language models. However, most existing CoT methods use reasoning chains mainly as inference-time prompts, while the generated reasoning traces are rarely reused as semi-supervised learning signals. In this report, we define \textbf{Semi-supervised Chain-of-Thought Learning} and propose \textbf{Semi-CoT}, a simple framework that uses unlabeled questions to construct pseudo reasoning supervision. Semi-CoT samples multiple pseudo-CoTs for each unlabeled question, estimates answer-level semantic entropy, and selects low-entropy reasoning chains as reliable pseudo-CoT demonstrations. This extends the self-training view of CoT from inference-time refinement to semi-supervised pseudo-supervision. Pilot experiments on AQuA, SVAMP, GSM8K, and MultiArith show that the entropy gate selects high-precision pseudo-CoTs, with pseudo-answer precision ranging from $91.36\%$ to $100\%$. Semi-CoT also gives small gains on SVAMP and GSM8K, while AQuA shows negative transfer and MultiArith reaches a ceiling. These results suggest that unlabeled questions can provide reliable pseudo reasoning signals, but their effective use still requires stronger demonstration selection or student training.

Semi-Supervised Vision-Language-Action Model

Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models enable robots to predict actions directly from visual observations and language instructions, but adapting them to new environments still depends on costly action-labeled demonstrations. To reduce this dependence, we study semi-supervised VLA adaptation under limited supervision signals, where only a small portion of trajectories contain robot actions and the remaining trajectories provide action-unlabeled vision-language observations. Unlike standard semi-supervised learning, the missing supervision is an embodied action signal that must be visually grounded, language-consistent, physically feasible, and temporally stable. To address this problem, we propose SemiVLA, a self-distilled teacher-student framework that learns from reliable pseudo-actions on unlabeled trajectories. SemiVLA introduces a VLA-specific reliability controller to assess vision-language alignment, action feasibility, and temporal transition consistency, and further updates the teacher through a Bottleneck-Projected Alignment Update to avoid noisy feedback contamination. With OpenVLA as the backbone, SemiVLA consistently improves multiple PEFT strategies across LIBERO and CALVIN. Under 10\% labeled trajectories, SemiVLA with Selective LoRA achieves 89.0\% average success on LIBERO, outperforming supervised LoRA by 8.0 points without extra inference cost.

Terahertz frequency upconversion by coherently driving charge dynamics in the InSb/CdTe heterostructure

We investigate terahertz (THz) harmonic generation in the InSb/CdTe heterostructure, demonstrating, for the first time, efficient in-plane magnetic field-induced second-harmonic generation (SHG). We also achieve significant third-harmonic generation (THG), rivalling Dirac materials such as graphene and Cd3As2. Our theoretical analysis identifies the primary SHG mechanism as the orbital-Zeeman correction to Drude conductivity, while the dominant THG contribution also shows Drude-like behavior. The results provide a general route to efficient THz harmonic generation in high mobility materials.

Mamba-VGGT: Persistent Long-Sequence Video Geometry Grounded Transformer via External Sliding Window Mamba Memory

Visual Geometry Grounded Transformers (VGGT) have set new benchmarks in high-fidelity 3D scene reconstruction. However, as the sequence length increases, these models suffer from catastrophic geometric forgetting and accumulation drift, primarily due to the quadratic complexity of global attention which necessitates truncated temporal windows. To overcome the resulting geometric drift, we present Mamba-VGGT, an enhanced VGGT framework capable of persistent long-range reasoning. Our key contribution is a Sliding Window Mamba (SWM) memory module that maintains an explicit external memory token across temporal windows. This module leverages selective state-space modeling to distill and propagate global geometric priors, effectively bypassing the memory constraints of traditional transformers. To integrate these long-term temporal cues without disrupting the highly optimized spatial features of the pre-trained VGGT, we propose a Zero-Init Spatial Memory Injector. Utilizing zero-convolutional layers, this injector adaptively fuses persistent memory into the patch token stream, ensuring structural stability and seamless feature alignment. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our approach significantly outperforms existing VGGT-based methods in maintaining spatial consistency and reducing trajectory accumulation errors. Our work provides a scalable, linear-complexity solution for geometry-grounded world modeling in extensive 3D environments.

Compact 3D Gaussian Splatting For Dense Visual SLAM

Recent work has shown that 3D Gaussian-based SLAM enables high-quality reconstruction, accurate pose estimation, and real-time rendering of scenes. However, these approaches are built on a tremendous number of redundant 3D Gaussian ellipsoids, leading to high memory and storage costs, and slow training speed. To address the limitation, we propose a compact 3D Gaussian Splatting SLAM system that reduces the number and the parameter size of Gaussian ellipsoids. A sliding window-based masking strategy is first proposed to reduce the redundant ellipsoids. Then we observe that the covariance matrix (geometry) of most 3D Gaussian ellipsoids are extremely similar, which motivates a novel geometry codebook to compress 3D Gaussian geometric attributes, i.e., the parameters. Robust and accurate pose estimation is achieved by a global bundle adjustment method with reprojection loss. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our method achieves faster training and rendering speed while maintaining the state-of-the-art (SOTA) quality of the scene representation.

Rethinking Image-to-3D Generation with Sparse Queries: Efficiency, Capacity, and Input-View Bias

We present SparseGen, a novel framework for efficient image-to-3D generation, which exhibits low input-view bias while being significantly faster. Unlike traditional approaches that rely on dense volumetric grids, triplanes, or pixel-aligned primitives, we model scenes with a compact sparse set of learned 3D anchor queries and a learned expansion operator that decodes each transformed query into a small local set of 3D Gaussian primitives. Trained under a rectified-flow reconstruction objective without 3D supervision, our model learns to allocate representation capacity where geometry and appearance matter, achieving significant reductions in memory and inference time while preserving multi-view fidelity. We introduce quantitative measures of input-view bias and utilization to show that sparse queries reduce overfitting to conditioning views while being representationally efficient. Our results argue that sparse set-latent expansion is a principled, practical alternative for efficient 3D generative modeling.

VectorWorld: Efficient Streaming World Model via Diffusion Flow on Vector Graphs

Closed-loop evaluation of autonomous-driving policies requires interactive simulation beyond log replay. However, existing generative world models often degrade in closed loop due to (i) history-free initialization that mismatches policy inputs, (ii) multi-step sampling latency that violates real-time budgets, and (iii) compounding kinematic infeasibility over long horizons. We propose VectorWorld, a streaming world model that incrementally generates ego-centric $64 \mathrm{m}\times 64\mathrm{m}$ lane--agent vector-graph tiles during rollout. VectorWorld aligns initialization with history-conditioned policies by producing a policy-compatible interaction state via a motion-aware gated VAE. It enables real-time outpainting via solver-free one-step masked completion with an edge-gated relational DiT trained with interval-conditioned MeanFlow and JVP-based large-step supervision. To stabilize long-horizon rollouts, we introduce $Δ$Sim, a physics-aligned non-ego (NPC) policy with hybrid discrete--continuous actions and differentiable kinematic logit shaping. On Waymo open motion and nuPlan, VectorWorld improves map-structure fidelity and initialization validity, and supports stable, real-time $1\mathrm{km}+$ closed-loop rollouts (\href{https://github.com/jiangchaokang/VectorWorld}{code}).

RegFormer++: An Efficient Large-Scale 3D LiDAR Point Registration Network with Projection-Aware 2D Transformer

Although point cloud registration has achieved remarkable advances in object-level and indoor scenes, large-scale LiDAR registration methods has been rarely explored before. Challenges mainly arise from the huge point scale, complex point distribution, and numerous outliers within outdoor LiDAR scans. In addition, most existing registration works generally adopt a two-stage paradigm: They first find correspondences by extracting discriminative local descriptors and then leverage robust estimators (e.g. RANSAC) to filter outliers, which are highly dependent on well-designed descriptors and post-processing choices. To address these problems, we propose a novel end-to-end differential transformer network, termed RegFormer++, for large-scale point cloud alignment without requiring any further post-processing. Specifically, a hierarchical projection-aware 2D transformer with linear complexity is proposed to project raw LiDAR points onto a cylindrical surface and extract global point features, which can improve resilience to outliers due to long-range dependencies. Because we fill original 3D coordinates into 2D projected positions, our designed transformer can benefit from both high efficiency in 2D processing and accuracy from 3D geometric information. Furthermore, to effectively reduce wrong point matching, a Bijective Association Transformer (BAT) is designed, combining both cross attention and all-to-all point gathering. To improve training stability and robustness, a feature-transformed optimal transport module is also designed for regressing the final pose transformation. Extensive experiments on KITTI, NuScenes, and Argoverse datasets demonstrate that our model achieves state-of-the-art performance in terms of both accuracy and efficiency.

RL-ScanIQA: Reinforcement-Learned Scanpaths for Blind 360°Image Quality Assessment

Blind 360°image quality assessment (IQA) aims to predict perceptual quality for panoramic images without a pristine reference. Unlike conventional planar images, 360°content in immersive environments restricts viewers to a limited viewport at any moment, making viewing behaviors critical to quality perception. Although existing scanpath-based approaches have attempted to model viewing behaviors by approximating the human view-then-rate paradigm, they treat scanpath generation and quality assessment as separate steps, preventing end-to-end optimization and task-aligned exploration. To address this limitation, we propose RL-ScanIQA, a reinforcement-learned framework for blind 360°IQA. RL-ScanIQA optimize a PPO-trained scanpath policy and a quality assessor, where the policy receives quality-driven feedback to learn task-relevant viewing strategies. To improve training stability and prevent mode collapse, we design multi-level rewards, including scanpath diversity and equator-biased priors. We further boost cross-dataset robustness using distortion-space augmentation together with rank-consistent losses that preserve intra-image and inter-image quality orderings. Extensive experiments on three benchmarks show that RL-ScanIQA achieves superior in-dataset performance and cross-dataset generalization. 4DSTR: Advancing Generative 4D Gaussians with Spatial-Temporal Rectification for High-Quality and Consistent 4D Generation

Remarkable advances in recent 2D image and 3D shape generation have induced a significant focus on dynamic 4D content generation. However, previous 4D generation methods commonly struggle to maintain spatial-temporal consistency and adapt poorly to rapid temporal variations, due to the lack of effective spatial-temporal modeling. To address these problems, we propose a novel 4D generation network called 4DSTR, which modulates generative 4D Gaussian Splatting with spatial-temporal rectification. Specifically, temporal correlation across generated 4D sequences is designed to rectify deformable scales and rotations and guarantee temporal consistency. Furthermore, an adaptive spatial densification and pruning strategy is proposed to address significant temporal variations by dynamically adding or deleting Gaussian points with the awareness of their pre-frame movements. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our 4DSTR achieves state-of-the-art performance in video-to-4D generation, excelling in reconstruction quality, spatial-temporal consistency, and adaptation to rapid temporal movements.
