Geometric properties of the four parameters Wright function

In this paper, four parameters Wright function is considered. Certain geometric properties such as starlikeness, convexity, uniform convexity and close-to-convexity are discussed for this function. Further, certain geometric properties of normalized Bessel function of the first kind and two parameters Wright function are studied as a consequence. Interesting corollaries and examples are provided to support that these results are better than the existing ones and improve several results available in the literature.

On a new generating functions for the Fox-Wright functions and theirs applications

The main focus of the present paper is to investigate several generating functions for a certain classes of functions associated to the Fox-Wright functions. In particular, certain generating functions for a class of function involving the Fox-Wright functions will be expressed in terms of the H-function of two variables are investigated. As applications, some generating functions associated to the generalized Mathieu type power series and the extended Hurwitz-Lerch zeta function are established. Furthermore, some new double series identity are considered. A conjecture about the finite Laplace transform of a class of function associated to the Fox's H-function is made.

Geometric properties of a certain class of functions related to the Fox-Wright functions

The purpose of this paper is to provide a set of sufficient conditions so that the normalized form of the Fox-Wright functions have certain geometric properties like close-to-convexity, univalency, convexity and starlikeness inside the unit disc. In particular, we study some geometric properties for some class of functions related to the generalized hypergeometric functions.

Positivity of certain class of functions related to the Fox H-functions and applications

In this present investigation, we found a set of sufficient conditions to be imposed on the parameters of the Fox H-functions which allow us to conclude that it is non-negative. As applications, various new facts regarding the Fox-Wright functions, including complete monotonicity, logarithmic completely monotonicity and monotonicity of ratios are considered.

New integral representations for the Fox-Wright functions and its applications II

In this paper our aim is to establish new integral representations for the Fox--Wright function ${}_p\Psi_q[^{(\alpha_p,A_p)}_{(\beta_q,B_q)}|z]$ when $$\mu=\sum_{j=1}^q\beta_j-\sum_{k=1}^p\alpha_k+\frac{p-q}{2}=-m,\;\;m\in\mathbb{N}_0.$$ In particular, closed-form integral expressions are derived for the four parameter Wright function under a special restriction on parameters. Exponential bounding inequalities are derived for a class of the Fox-Wright function. Moreover, complete monotonicity property is presented for these functions.

Generalized Volterra functions, its integral representations and applications to the Mathieu--type series

In this paper we introduce the new class of generalized Volterra functions. We prove some integral representations for them via Fox-Wright H-functions and Meijer G-functions. From positivity conditions on the weight in these representations, we found sufficient conditions on parameters of the generalized Volterra function to prove its complete monotonicity. As applications we prove some Tur\'an type inequalities for generalized Volterra functions and derive closed-form integral representations for a family of convergent Mathieu-type series defined in terms of generalized Volterra functions.

Monotonicity Properties and functional inequalities for the Volterra and incomplete Volterra functions

In this paper we prove some monotonicity, log--convexity and log--concavity properties for the Volterra and incomplete Volterra functions. Moreover, as consequences of these results, we present some functional inequalities (like Tur\'an type inequalities) as well as we determined sharp upper and lower bounds for the normalized incomplete Volterra functions in terms of weighted power means.

On a new (p,q)-Mtahieu type power series and its applications

Our aim in this paper, is to establish certain new integrals for the the (p,q)-Mathieu--power series. In particular, we investigate the Mellin-Barnes type integral representations for a particular case of thus special function. Moreover, we introduce the notion of the (p,q)-Mittag-Leffler functions and we present a relationships between thus two functions. Some other applications are proved, in particular two Tur\'an type inequalities for the (p,q)-Mathieu series are proved.

New Integral representations for the Fox-Wright functions and its applications

Our aim in this paper is to derive several new integral representations of the Fox-Wright functions. In particular, we give new Laplace and Stieltjes transform for this special functions under a special restriction on parameters. From the positivity conditions for the weight in these representations, we found sufficient conditions to be imposed on the parameters of the Fox-Wright functions that it be completely monotonic. As applications, we derive a class of function related to the Fox H-functions is positive definite and an investigation of a class of the Fox H-function is non-negative. Moreover, we extended the Luke's inequalities and we establish a new Tur\'an type inequalities for the Fox-Wright function. Finally, by appealing to each of the Luke's inequalities, two sets of two-sided bounding inequalities for the generalized Mathieu's type series are proved.

Functional inequalities for Fox-Wright functions

In this paper, our aim is to show some mean value inequalities for the Fox-Wright functions, such as Turán--type inequalities, Lazarević and Wilker--type inequalities. As applications we derive some new type inequalities for hypergeometric functions and the four--parametric Mittag--Leffler functions. Furthermore, we prove monotonicity of ratios for sections of series of Fox-Wright functions, the results is also closely connected with Turán--type inequalities. Moreover, some other type inequalities are also presented. At the end of the paper, some problems stated, which may be of interest for further research.

New type integral inequalities for convex functions with applications II

We have recently established some integral inequalities for convex functions via the Hermite-Hadamard's inequalities. In continuation here, we also establish some interesting new integral inequalities for convex functions via the Hermite--Hadamard's inequalities and Jensen's integral inequality. Useful applications involving special means are also included.

In this paper, we establish (presumably new type) integral inequalities for convex functions via the Hermite--Hadamard's inequalities. As applications, we apply these new inequalities to construct inequalities involving special means of real numbers, some error estimates for the formula midpoint are given. Finally, new inequalities for some special and $q-$special functions are also pointed out.

Redheffer type bounds for Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind

In this paper our aim is to show some new inequalities of Redheffer type for Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind. The key tools in our proofs are some classical results on the monotonicity of quotients of differentiable functions as well as on the monotonicity of quotients of two power series. We use also some known results on the quotients of Bessel and modified Bessel functions of the first kind, and by using the monotonicity of the Dirichlet eta function we prove a sharp inequality for the tangent function. At the end of the paper a conjecture is stated, which may be of interest for further research.

Some families of generalized Mathieu-type power series, associated probability distributions and related functional inequalities involving complete monotonicity and log-convexity

By making use of the familiar Mathieu series and its generalizations, the authors derive a number of new integral representations and present a systematic study of probability density functions and probability distributions associated with some generalizations of the Mathieu series. In particular, the mathematical expectation, variance and the characteristic functions, related to the probability density functions of the considered probability distributions are derived. As a consequence, some interesting inequalities involving complete monotonicity and log-convexity are derived.
