Extension of Frame's type inequalities to Bessel and modified Bessel functions

Our aim is to extend some trigonometric inequalities to Bessel functions. Moreover, we extend the hyperbolic analogue of these trigonometric inequalities. As an application of these results we present a generalization of Cusa-type inequality to modified Bessel function. Our main motivation to write this paper is a recent publication of Chen and Sándor, which we wish to complement.

A Class of logarithmically completely monotonic functions relating the $q$-gamma function and applications

In this paper, the logarithmically complete monotonicity property for a functions involving $q$-gamma function is investigated for $q\in(0,1).$ As applications of this results, some new inequalities for the $q$-gamma function are established. Furthermore, let the sequence $r_n$ be defined by $$n!=\sqrt{2πn}(n/e)^n e^{r_n}.$$ We establish new estimates for Stirling's formula remainder $r_n.$

Logarithmically completely monotontic functions related the $q-$gamma and the $q-$digamma functions with applications

In this paper we present several new classes of logarithmically completely monotonic functions. Our functions have in common that they are defined in terms of the $q-$gamma and $q-$digamma functions. As an applications of this results, some inequalities for the $q-$gamma and the $q-$digamma functions are established. Some of the given results generalized theorems due to Alzer and Berg and C.-P. Chen and F. Qi.

Some new refined Hardy type integral inequalities

In this paper, by using Jensen's inequality and Chebyshev integral inequality, some generalizations and new refined Hardy type integral inequalities are obtained. In addition, the corresponding reverse relation are also proved.

Dunkl completely monotonic functions

We introduce the notion of Dunkl completely monotonic functions on $\left(-σ,σ\right), σ>0$. We establish a restrictive version of the analogue of Schoenberg's theorem in Dunkl setting.

Proofs of some conjectures on monotonicity of ratios of Kummer, Gauss and generalized hypergeometric functions

In 1993 one of the authors formulated some conjectures on monotonicity of ratios for exponential series sections. They lead to more general conjecture on monotonicity of ratios of Kummer hypergeometric functions and was not proved from 1993. In this paper we prove these conjectures in the more general setting for Kummer hypergeometric functions and its further generalizations for Gauss and generalized hypergeometric functions. The results are also closely connected with Turan--type inequalities.

Dunkl positive definite functions

We introduce the notion of Dunkl positive definite and strictly positive definite functions on $\mathbb{R}^{d}$. This done by the use of the properties of Dunkl translation. We establish the analogue of Bochner's theorem in Dunkl setting. The case of radial functions is considered. We give a sufficient condition for a function to be Dunkl strictly positive definite on $\mathbb{R}^{d}.$

A function Class of strictly positive definite and logarithmically completely monotonic functions related to the modified Bessel functions

In this paper we give some conditions for a class of functions related to Bessel functions to be positive definite or strictly positive definite . We present some properties and relationships involving logarithmically completely monotonic functions and strictly positive definite functions. In particular, we are interested with the modified Bessel functions.
