Hawking radiation of Dirac monopoles from the global monopole black hole with quantum gravity effects

In this paper we study the quantum tunneling of Dirac magnetic monopoles from the global monopole black hole under quantum gravity effects. We start from the modified Maxwell's equations and the Generalized Uncertainty Relation (GUP), to recover the GUP corrected temperature for the global monopole black hole by solving the modified Dirac equation via Hamilton-Jacobi method. Furthermore, we also include the quantum corrections beyond the semiclassical approximation, in particular, first we find the logarithmic corrections of GUP corrected entropy and finally we calculate the GUP corrected specific heat capacity. It is argued that the GUP effects may prevent a black hole from complete evaporation and leave remnants.

Quantum Corrected Schwarzschild Thin Shell Wormhole

Recently, Ali and Khalil \cite{Farag Ali}, based on the Bohmian quantum mechanics derived a quantum corrected version of the Schwarzschild metric. In this paper, we construct a quantum corrected Schwarzschild thin shell wormhole (QSTSW) and investigate the stability of this wormhole. First we compute the surface stress at the wormhole throat by applying the Darmois-Israel formalism to the modified Schwarzschild metric and show that exotic matter is required at the throat to keep the wormhole stable. We then study the stability analysis of the wormhole by considering phantom-energy for the exotic matter, generalized Chaplygin gas (GCG), and the linearized stability analysis. It is argued that, quantum corrections can affect the stability domain of the wormhole.

Dirac Particles Tunneling from Black Holes with Topological Defects

We study Hawking radiation of Dirac particles with spin-$1/2$ as a tunneling process from Schwarzschild-de Sitter and Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black holes in background spacetimes with a spinning cosmic string and a global monopole. Solving Dirac's equation by employing the Hamilton-Jacobi method and WKB approximation we find the corresponding tunneling probabilities and the Hawking temperature. Furthermore, we show that the Hawking temperature of those black holes remains unchanged in presence of topological defects in both cases.

Light Deflection with Torsion Effects Caused by a Spinning Cosmic String

Using a new geometrical method introduced by Werner, we find the deflection angle in the weak limit approximation by a spinning cosmic string in the context of the Einstein-Cartan (EC) theory of gravity. We begin by adopting the String-Randers optical metric, then we apply the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to the optical geometry and derive the leading terms of the deflection angle in the equatorial plane. Calculations shows that light deflection is affected by the intrinsic spin of the cosmic string and torsion.

Tunneling of Massive Vector Particles From Rotating Charged Black Strings

We study the quantum tunneling of charged massive vector bosons from a charged static and a rotating black string. We apply the standard methods, first we use the WKB approximation and the Hamilton-Jacobi equation, and then we end up with a set of four linear equations. Finally, solving for the radial part by using the determinant of the metric equals zero, the corresponding tunneling rate and the Hawking temperature is recovered in both cases. The tunneling rate deviates from pure thermality and is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.

Massive Vector Particles Tunneling From Noncommutative Charged Black Holes and its GUP-corrected Thermodynamics

In this paper, we investigate the tunneling process of charged massive bosons $W^{\pm }$ (spin-1 particles) from noncommutative charged black holes such as charged RN black holes and charged BTZ black holes. By applying the WKB approximation and by using the Hamilton-Jacobi equation we derive the tunneling rate and the corresponding Hawking temperature for those black holes configuration. Furthermore, we show the quantum gravity effects using the GUP on the Hawking temperature for the noncommutative RN black holes. The tunneling rate shows that the radiation deviates from pure thermality and is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.

Gravitational lensing by Reissner-Nordström black holes with topological defects

Using a new geometrical approach introduced by Gibbons and Werner we study the deflection angle by Reissner-Nordström black holes in the background spacetimes with a global monopole and a cosmic string. By calculating the corresponding optical Gaussian curvature and applying the Gauss-Bonnet theorem to the optical metric we find the leading terms of the deflection angle in the weak limit approximation. We find that the deflection angle increases due to the presence of topological defects.

Hawking radiation via tunneling from the spacetime of a spinning cosmic string black holes

In this paper, we study Hawking radiation as a massless particles tunneling process across the event horizon from the Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström black holes pierced by an infinitely long spinning cosmic string and a global monopole. Applying the WKB approximation and using a generalized Painlevé line element for stationary axisymmetric spacetimes, also by taking into account that the ADM mass of the black hole decreases due to the presence of topological defects, it is shown that the Hawking temperature remains unchanged for these black holes. The tunneling of charged massive particles from Reissner-Nordström black holes is also studied, in both cases the tunneling rate is related to the change of the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. The results extend the work of Parikh and Wilczek and are consistent with an underlying unitary theory.

Scalar particles emission from black holes with topological defects using Hamilton-Jacobi method

We study quantum tunneling of charged and uncharged scalar particles from the event horizon of Schwarzschild-de Sitter and Reissner-Nordström-de Sitter black holes pierced by an infinitely long spinning cosmic string and a global monopole. In order to find the Hawking temperature and the tunneling probability we solve the Klein-Gordon equation by using the Hamilton-Jacobi method and WKB approximation. We show that Hawking temperature is independent of the presence of topological defects in both cases.
