Properties of the fast fission and the coincident emissions of light charged particles in $^{40}$Ar + $^{197}$Au reactions at 30 MeV/u

The experiment of Ar+Au reactions at 30 MeV/u have been performed using the Compact Spectrometer for Heavy IoN Experiments (CSHINE) in phase I. The light-charged particles are measured by the silicon stripe telescopes in coincidence with the fission fragments recorded by the parallel plate avalanche counters. The distribution properties of the azimuth difference $Δϕ$ and the time-of-flight difference $ΔTOF$ of the fission fragments are presented varying the folding angles which represents the linear momentum transfer from the projectile to the reaction system. The relative abundance of the light charged particles in the fission events to the inclusive events is compared as a function of the laboratory angle $θ_{\rm lab}$ ranging from $18^\circ$ to $60^\circ$ in various folding angle windows. The angular evolution of the yield ratios of p/d and t/d in coincidence with fission fragments is investigated. In a relative comparison, tritons are more abundantly emitted at small angles, while protons are more abundant at large angles. The angular evolution of the neutron richness of the light-charged particles is consistent with the results obtained in previous inclusive experiments.

Fundamental description of Wannier qubits of any topology in semiconductor by analytical and numerical computations

Justification of tight-binding model from Schroedinger formalism for various topologies of position-based semiconductor qubits is presented in this work. Simplistic tight-binding model allows for description of single-electron devices at large integration scale. However it is due to the fact that tight-binding model omits the integro-differential equations that arise from electron-electron interaction in Schroedinger model. Two approaches are given in derivation of tight-binding model from Schroedinger equation. First approach is conducted by usage of Green functions obtained from Schroedinger equation. Second approach is given by usage of Taylor expansion applied to Schroedinger equation. The obtained results can be extended for the case of many Wannier qubits with more than one electron and can be applied to 2 and 3 dimensional model. Furthermore various correlation functions are proposed in Schroedinger formalism that can account for static and time-dependent electric and magnetic field polarizing given Wannier qubit system. One of the central results of presented work relies on the emergence of dissipation processes during smooth bending of semiconductor nanowires both in the case of classical and quantum picture. Presented results give the base for physical description of electrostatic Q-Swap gate of any topology using open loop nanowires. We observe strong localization of wavepacket due to nanowire bending.

Fission fragment mass yields of Th to Rf even-even nuclei

Fission properties of the actinide nuclei are deduced from theoretical analysis. We investigate potential energy surfaces and fission barriers and predict the fission fragment mass-yields of actinide isotopes. The results are compared with experimental data where available. The calculations were performed in the macroscopic-microscopic approximation with the Lublin-Strasbourg Drop (LSD) for the macroscopic part and the microscopic energy corrections were evaluated in the Yukawa-folded potential. The Fourier nuclear shape parametrization is used to describe the nuclear shape, including the non-axial degree of freedom. The fission fragment mass-yields of considered nuclei are evaluated within a 3D collective model using the Born-Oppenheimer approximation.

Equivalence between classical epidemic model and non-dissipative and dissipative quantum tight-binding model

The equivalence between classical epidemic model and nondissipative and dissipative quantum tight-binding model is derived. Classical epidemic model can reproduce the quantum entanglement emerging in the case of electrostatically coupled qubits described by von-Neumann entropy both in non-dissipative and dissipative case. The obtained results shows that quantum mechanical phenomena might be almost entirely simulated by classical statistical model. It includes the quantum like entanglement and superposition of states. Therefore coupled epidemic models expressed by classical systems in terms of classical physics can be the base for possible incorporation of quantum technologies and in particular for quantum like computation and quantum like communication. The classical density matrix is derived and described by the equation of motion in terms of anticommutator. Existence of Rabi like oscillations is pointed in classical epidemic model. Furthermore the existence of Aharonov-Bohm effect in quantum systems can also be reproduced by the classical epidemic model. Every quantum system made from quantum dots and described by simplistic tight-binding model by use of position-based qubits can be effectively described by classical model with very specific structure of S matrix that has twice bigger size as it is the case of quantum matrix Hamiltonian. Obtained results partly question fundamental and unique character of quantum mechanics and are placing ontology of quantum mechanics much in the framework of classical statistical physics what can bring motivation for emergence of other fundamental theories bringing suggestion that quantum mechanical is only effective and phenomenological but not fundamental picture of reality.

Towards robust coupled field induced Josephson junctions

The concept of coupled robust field induced Josephson junctions placed in complex electromagnetic environments is presented. Such structures are made by polarization of superconducting nanostructures by magnetic fields. The methodology of modeling of structures and possible implementations is introduced. The presented scheme is expected to implement and describe both classical and quantum computers with use of Josephson junction and artificial evolution. In such cases one can obtain unexpected new topologies of circuits that can contribute in enhancement of known and used circuit schemes. Furthermore one can obtain the non-invasive detectors of moving charged particles from robust field induced Josephson junctions which are illustrated by examples.

Deformation-energy surfaces of 54 even-even isotopes of Pt, Hg and Pb nuclei with neutron numbers up to 126 are investigated within a macroscopic-microscopic model based on the Lublin-Strasbourg-Drop macroscopic energy and shell plus pairing-energy corrections obtained from a Yukawa-folded mean-field potential at the desired deformation. A new, rapidly converging Fourier shape parametrization is used to describe nuclear shapes. The stability of shape isomeric states with respect to non-axial and higher-order deformations is investigated.

Mass Yields of Fission Fragment of Pt to Ra Isotopes

An effective Fourier nuclear shape parametrization which describes well the most relevant degrees of freedom on the way to fission is used to construct a 3D collective model. The potential energy surface is evaluated within the macroscopic-microscopic approach based on the Lublin-Strasbourg Drop (LSD) macroscopic energy and Yukawa-folded single particle potential. A phenomenological inertia parameter is used to describe the kinetic properties of the fissioning system. The fission fragment mass yields are obtained by using an approximate solution of the underlying Hamiltonian. The predicted mass fragmentations for even-even Pt to Ra isotopes are compared with available experimental data. Their main characteristics are well reproduced when the neck rupture probability dependent on the neck radius is introduced.

Towards quantum internet and non-local communication in position based qubits

Non-local communication among position based qubits is described for the system of the quantum electromagnetic resonator entangled to two semiconductor electrostatic qubits via interaction between matter and radiation by Jaynes-Cummings tight-binding Hamiltonian. Principle of quantum communication between position dependent qubits is explained with usage of simplistic model. All stages of derivation are presented. The case of two semiconductor position-dependent qubits interacting with quantum electromagnetic cavity is discussed and general form of tight-binding Hamiltonian is derived with renormalized tight-binding coefficients. The obtained results bring foundation for the construction of quantum networks and prospect of quantum internet. The presented work brings the perspective of creation of quantum communication networks between electrostatic position based qubits that are implementable in semiconductor single electron devices and in particular in current CMOS technologies. The case of two capacitively interacting qubits biased to quantum electromagnetic cavity is also described.

Analytical solutions for a tight-binding model are presented for a position-based qubit and N interacting qubits realized by quasi-one-dimensional network of coupled quantum dots expressed by connected or disconnected graphs of any topology in 2 and 3 dimensions where one electron is presented at each separated graphs. Electron(s) quantum dynamic state is described under various electromagnetic circumstances with an omission spin degree-of-freedom. The action of Hadamard and phase rotating gate is given by analytical formulas derived and formulated for any case of physical field evolution preserving the occupancy of two-energy level system. The procedure for heating up and cooling down of the quantum state placed in position based qubit is described. The interaction of position-based qubit with electromagnetic cavity is described. In particular non-local communication between position based qubits is given. It opens the perspective of implementation of quantum internet among electrostatic CMOS quantum computers (quantum chips). The interface between superconducting Josephson junction and semiconductor position-based qubit implemented in coupled semiconductor q-dots is described such that it can be the base for electrostatic interface between superconducting and semiconductor quantum computer. Modification of Andreev Bound State in Josephson junction by the presence of semiconductor qubit in its proximity and electrostatic interaction with superconducting qubit is spotted by the minimalistic tight-binding model. The obtained results allow in creating interface between semiconductor quantum computer and superconducting quantum computer. They open the perspective of construction of QISKIT like software that will describe both types of quantum computers as well as their interface.

Properties of Coupled Single-Electron Lines

Fundamental properties of two electrostatically interacting single-electron lines (SEL) are determined from a minimalistic tight-binding model. The lines are represented by a chain of coupled quantum wells that could be implemented in a mainstream nanoscale CMOS process technology and tuned electrostatically by DC or AC voltage biases. The obtained results show an essential qualitative difference with two capacitively coupled classical electrical lines. The derived equations and their solutions prove that the two coupled SET lines can create an entanglement between electrons. The results indicate a possibility of constructing electrostatic (non-spin) coupled qubits that could be used as building blocks in a CMOS quantum computer.

To fission or not to fission

The fission-fragments mass-yield of 236U is obtained by an approximate solution of the eigenvalue problem of the collective Hamiltonian that describes the dynamics of the fission process whose degrees of freedom are: the fission (elongation), the neck and the mass-asymmetry mode. The macroscopic-microscopic method is used to evaluate the potential energy surface. The macroscopic energy part is calculated using the liquid drop model and the microscopic corrections are obtained using the Woods-Saxon single-particle levels. The four dimensional modified Cassini ovals shape parametrization is used to describe the shape of the fissioning nucleus. The mass tensor is taken within the cranking-type approximation. The final fragment mass distribution is obtained by weighting the adiabatic density distribution in the collective space with the neck-dependent fission probability. The neck degree of freedom is found to play a significant role in determining that final fragment mass distribution.

Justification of the canonical quantization of the Josephson effect

Quantum devices based on Josephson effect in superconductors are usually described by a Hamiltonian obtained by commonly used canonical quantization. However, this recipe has not been yet rigorously justified. We show that this approach is indeed correct in certain range of parameters. We find the condition of the validity of such quantization and the lowest corrections to the Josephson energy.

Towards 4 formalisms description of properties of the unconventional Josephson junction and unconventional SQUIDs made by putting non-superconducting strip on the top of superconducting strip

We present the theoretical approach to study the unconventional Josephson junction (uJJ) made by putting the non-superconduncting strip on the top of superconducting strip. We work in the framework of the Ginzburg-Landau, Bogoliubov de Gennes and Usadel formalisms. We solve the non-linear parital differential equations numerically for few simple cases. We obtaine the eigenenergies of the uJJ by means of combined GL and BdGe method. cases. We predict the occurence of the physical effect, which we call the topological Meissner effect. Basing on the obtained results and current knowledge on Josephson junctions we point the future perspectives of the research on uJJs.
