On Thermodynamics of 2d Black Holes in Brane Inflationary Potentials

Inspired from the inflation brane world cosmology, we study the thermodynamics of a black hole solution in two dimensional dilaton gravity with an arctangent potential background. We first derive the two dimensional black hole geometry, then we examine its asymptotic behaviors. More precisely, we find that such behaviors exhibit properties appearing in some known cases including the Anti de Sitter and the Schwarzchild black holes. Using the complex path method, we compute the Hawking radiation. The entropy function can be related to the value of the potential at the horizon.

On Thermodynamical Behaviors of Kerr-Newman AdS Black Holes

We reconsider the study of critical behaviors of Kerr-Newman AdS black holes in four dimensions. The study is made in terms of the moduli space parameterized by the charge Q and the rotation parameter a, relating the mass M of the black hole and its angular momentum J via the relation a=J/M. Specifically, we discuss such thermodynamical behaviors in the presence of a positive cosmological constant considered as a thermodynamic pressure and its conjugate quantity as a thermodynamic volume. The equation of state for a charged RN-AdS black hole predicts a critical universal number depending on the (Q,a) moduli space. In the vanishing limit of the a parameter, this prediction recovers the usual universal number in four dimensions. Then, we find the bounded regions of the moduli space allowing the consistency of the model with real thermodynamical variables.

On Thermodynamics of AdS Black Holes in Arbitrary Dimensions

Considering the cosmological constant $Λ$ as a thermodynamic pressure and its conjugate quantity as a thermodynamic volume as proposed in Kubiznak and Mann (2012), we discuss the critical behavior of charged AdS black hole in arbitrary dimensions $d$. In particular, we present a comparative study in terms of the spacetime dimension $d$ and the displacement of critical points controlling the transition between the small and the large black holes. Such behaviors vary nicely in terms of $d$. Among our result in this context consists in showing that the equation of state for a charged RN-AdS black hole predicts an universal number given by $\frac{2d-5}{4d-8}$. The three dimensional solution is also discussed.

Quiver Gauge theories from Lie Superalgebras

We discuss quiver gauge models with matter fields based on Dynkin diagrams of Lie superalgebra structures. We focus on A(1,0) case and we find first that it can be related to intersecting complex cycles with genus $g$. Using toric geometry, A(1,0) quivers are analyzed in some details and it is shown that A(1,0) can be used to incorporate fundamental fields to a product of two unitary factor groups. We expect that this approach can be applied to other kinds of Lie superalgebras;

On Schwarzschild black holes in a D-dimensional noncommutative space

This work aims to implement the idea of noncommutativity in the subject of black holes. Its principal contents deal with a study of Schwarzschild black holes in a D-dimensional noncommutative space. Various aspects related to the non commutative extension are discussed and some non trivial results are derived.

Liouville Black Hole In A Noncommutative Space

The space-noncommutativity adapted to the Liouville black hole theory is studied in the present work. Among our contributions, we present the solutions of noncommutative Liouville Black hole equations of motion and find their classical properties such as the ADM mass, the horizon and the scalar Ricci curvature.

Pseudo-Differential Operators and Integrable Models

The importance of the theory of pseudo-differential operators in the study of non linear integrable systems is point out. Principally, the algebra $Ξ$ of nonlinear (local and nonlocal) differential operators, acting on the ring of analytic functions $u_{s}(x, t)$, is studied. It is shown in particular that this space splits into several classes of subalgebras $Σ_{jr}, j=0,\pm 1, r=\pm 1$ completely specified by the quantum numbers: $s$ and $(p,q)$ describing respectively the conformal weight (or spin) and the lowest and highest degrees. The algebra ${\huge Σ}_{++}$ (and its dual $Σ_{--}$) of local (pure nonlocal) differential operators is important in the sense that it gives rise to the explicit form of the second hamiltonian structure of the KdV system and that we call also the Gelfand-Dickey Poisson bracket. This is explicitly done in several previous studies, see for the moment \cite{4, 5, 14}. Some results concerning the KdV and Boussinesq hierarchies are derived explicitly.

Fsusy and Field Theoretical Construction

Following our previous work on fractional spin symmetries (FSS) \cite{6, 7}, we consider here the construction of field theoretical models that are invariant under the $D=2(1/3,1/3)$ supersymmetric algebra.

Heterotic $D=2 (1/3, 0)$ Susy Models

Following our previous work on fractional spin symmetries (FSS) \cite{2, 4}, we build here a superspace representation of the heterotic $D=2(1/3,0)$ superalgebra and derive a field theoretical model invariant under this symmetry.

F-Susy And The Three States Potts Model

In view of its several involvements in various physical and mathematical contexts, 2D-fractional supersymmetry (F-susy) is once again considered in this work. We are, for instance, interested to study the three states Potts model $(k = 3)$ which represents with the tricritical Ising model $(k = 2)$ the two leading examples of more general spin $1/k$ fractional supersymmetric theories.

Super Gelfand-Dickey Algebra And Integrable Models

We present in this work a systematic study of integrable models and supersymmetric extensions of the Gelfand-Dickey algebra of pseudo differential operators. We describe in detail the relation existing between the algebra of super pseudo-differential operators on the ring of superfields $u_{\frac{s}{2}}(z,θ),s\in Z$ and the higher and lower spin extensions of the conformal algebra.

Extended (Super-) KP-hierarchies and generalised String equations

We propose a consistently algebraic formulation of the extended KP (supersymmetric) integrable -hierarchy systems. We exploit the results already established in [14] and which consist in a framework suspected to unify in a fascinating way all the possible supersymmetric KP-hierarchies and then their underlying supergravity theories . This construction leads among other to built explicit non standard integrable Lax evolution equations suspected to reduce to the well known KP integrable equation. We present also a contribution of our construction to the subject of string equation and solitons. Other algebraic properties are also presented

Integrable KdV Hierarchies on T^2=S^1\times S^1

Following our previous works on extended higher spin symmetries on the torus we focus in the present contribution to make a setup of the integrable KdV hierarchies on $T^{2} = S^{1} \times S^{1}$. Actually two particular systems are considered, namely the KdV and the Burgers non linear integrable model associated to currents of conformal weights (2, 2) and (1, 1) respectively. One key steps towards proving the integrability of these systems is to find their Lax pair operators. This is explicitly done and a mapping between the two systems is discussed.

Gelfand-Dickey Algebra and Higher Spin Symmetries On $T^2=S^1\times S^1$

We focus in this work to renew the interest in higher conformal spins symmetries and their relations to quantum field theories and integrable models. We consider the extension of the conformal Frappat et al. symmetries containing the Virasoro and the Antoniadis et al. algebras as particular cases describing geometrically special diffeomorphisms of the two dimensional torus $T^2$. We show in a consistent way, and explicitly, how one can extract these generalized symmetries from the Gelfand-Dickey algebra. The link with Liouville and Toda conformal field theories is established and various important properties are discussed.

Zeeman Effect In The Framework of Moyal Noncommutativity and String Theory

Stimulated by the importance of noncommutative geometry in recent developments in string theory, D-branes and integrable systems, one intends in this work to present a new insight towards adapting the famous idea of Zeeman effect to noncommutativity à la Moyal and develop an analysis leading to connect our results to the Bigatti-Suskind (BS) formulation.

Some Aspects of 2D Integrability

We study the KdV and Burgers nonlinear systems and show in a consistent way that they can be mapped to each other through a strong requirement about their evolutions's flows to be connected. We expect that the established mapping between these particular systems should shed more light towards accomplishing some unification's mechanism for KdV hierarchy's integrable systems.

The Moyal Momentum Algebra

We introduce in this short note some aspects of the Moyal momentum algebra that we call the Das-Popowicz Mm algebra. Our interest on this algebra is motivated by the central role that it can play in the formulation of integrable models and in higher conformal spin theories.
