Cosmic acceleration with bulk viscosity in an anisotropic $f(R,L_m)$ background

In this article, we investigate the observed cosmic acceleration in the framework of a cosmological $f(R,L_m)$ model dominated by bulk viscous matter in an anisotropic background. We consider the LRS Bianchi type I metric and derive the Friedmann equations that drive the gravitational interactions in $f(R,L_m)$ gravity. Further, we assume the functional form $f(R,L_m)=\frac{R}{2}+L_m^α$, where $α$ is a free model parameter, and then find the exact solutions of fields equations corresponding to our viscous matter dominated model. We incorporate the updated H(z) data and the Pantheon data to acquire the best-fit values of parameters of our model by utilizing the $χ^2$ minimization technique along with the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) random sampling method. Further, we present the behavior of physical parameters that describe the universe's evolution phase, such as density, effective pressure and EoS parameters, skewness parameter, and the statefinder diagnostic parameters. We found that the energy density indicates expected positive behavior, whereas the negative behavior of bulk viscous pressure contributes to the universe's expansion. The effective EoS parameter favors the accelerating phase of the universe's expansion. Moreover, the skewness parameter shows the anisotropic nature of spacetime during the entire evolution phase of the universe. Finally, from statefinder diagnostic test, we found that our cosmological $f(R,L_m)$ model lies in the quintessence region, and it behaves like a de-Sitter universe in the far future. We analyze different energy conditions in order to test the consistency of the obtained solution. We found that all energy conditions except SEC show positive behavior, while the violation of SEC favors the recently observed acceleration with the transition from decelerated to an accelerated epoch of the universe's expansion in the recent past.

Geometric structures of Morris-Thorne wormhole metric in $f(R,L_m)$ gravity and energy conditions

The aim of this manuscript is to study the traversable wormhole (WH) geometries in the curvature matter coupling gravity. We investigate static spherically symmetric Morris-Thorne WHs within the context of $f(R,L_m)$ gravity. To accomplish this, we examine the WH model in four different cases (i) linear $f(R,L_m)$ model, $f(R,L_m)=αR+βL_m$ with anisotropic matter distribution having the relation $p_r=m p_t$ (ii) linear $f(R,L_m)$ model having anisotropic matter distribution along with the equation of state parameter, $p_r=ωρ$, (iii) non-linear model $f(R,L_m)=\dfrac{1}{2}R+L_m^η$ with specific form of energy density and (iv) non-linear $f(R,L_m)$ model, $f(R,L_m)=\dfrac{1}{2}R+(1+ξR)L_m$ with isotropic matter distribution and having the linear relation between pressure and energy density, $p=ωρ$. Additionally, in the latter case, we consider a specific power-law shape function $b(r)=r_0 \left(\dfrac{r_0}{r}\right)^n$. Furthermore, we analyze the energy conditions for each WH model to verify their physical viability. As a novel outcome, we can see the validation of the null energy condition for the $f(R,L_m)$ model that suggests ruling out the necessity of exotic matter for the traversability of the WH. At last, an embedding diagram for each model is illustrated that describes the WH geometry.

Wormhole solutions in $f(Q,T)$ gravity with a radial dependent B parameter

A possible astrophysical object to be found in General Relativity is the wormhole. This special solution describes a topological bridge connecting points in two distinguished universes or two different points in the same universe. Despite it was never observed so far, is desired to find traversable wormholes, i.e. wormholes which have a throat at which there is no horizon. However, the traversable wormhole constraints yield solutions that violate all the energy conditions in General Relativity. In the last few years, several models to describe gravity beyond $Λ$CDM have been proposed. Then, it is relevant to look for wormhole solutions for these new theories. In this study, we are going to unveil new wormhole solutions for the so-called $f(Q,T)$ gravity. This theory of gravity is based on the non-metricity scalar $Q$, which is responsible for the gravitational interaction together with the energy-momentum trace $T$. We use the embedding procedure to find both the energy and the equilibrium conditions for the existence of wormholes. Then, the nontrivial contributions coming from $f(Q,T)$ gravity are embedded into the effective equations for density and pressures. We also considered the presence of exotic strange matter in the wormhole throat. Such a matter obeys the notorious MIT bag Model. We are going to present new scenarios confirming the viability of traversable wormholes in $f(Q,T)$ gravity with the strange matter, satisfying SEC and WEC energy conditions.

Non-exotic static spherically symmetric thin-shell wormhole solution in $f(Q,T)$ gravity

In this study, we have conducted an analysis of traversable wormhole solutions within the framework of linear $f(Q, T) = αQ + βT$ gravity, ensuring that all the energy conditions hold for the entire spacetime. The solutions presented in this study were derived through a comprehensive analytical examination of the parameter space associated with the wormhole model. This involved considering the exponents governing the redshift and shape functions, as well as the radius of the wormhole throat ($r_0$), the redshift function value at the throat ($ϕ_0$), and the model parameters ($α$ and $β$). Also, we have established bounds on these free parameters that guarantee the satisfaction of the energy conditions throughout spacetime and have also provided two solutions. Further, we have used the Israel junction condition to see the stability of a thin-shell around the wormhole. We have also calculated the NEC criteria and potential for such a thin-shell and how it varies with the chosen shape function.

Static traversable wormhole solutions in $f(R,L_m)$ gravity

In this study, we explore the new wormhole solutions in the framework of new modified $f(R,L_m)$ gravity. To obtain a characteristic wormhole solution, we use anisotropic matter distribution and a specific form of energy density. As second adopt the isotropic case with a linear EoS relation as a general technique for the system and discuss several physical attributes of the system under the wormhole geometry. Detailed analytical and graphical discussion about the matter contents via energy conditions is discussed. In both cases, the shape function of wormhole geometry satisfies the required conditions. Several interesting points have evolved from the entire investigation along with the features of the exotic matter within the wormhole geometry. Finally, we have concluding remarks.

Viscous fluid cosmology in symmetric teleparallel gravity

In this manuscript, we analyze the viscous fluid cosmological model in the framework of recently proposed $f(Q)$ gravity by assuming three different forms of bulk viscosity coefficients, specifically, $(i)ζ=ζ_{0}+ζ_{1}\left( \frac{\dot{a}}{a}\right) +ζ_{2}\left( \frac{\ddot{a}}{\dot{a}}\right) $, $(ii)ζ=ζ_{0}+ζ_{1}\left( \frac{\dot{a}}{a}\right)$, and $(iii)ζ=ζ_{0}$ and a linear $f(Q)$ model, particularly, $f(Q)=αQ$ where $α\neq 0$ is free model parameter. We estimate the bulk viscosity coefficients and the model parameter values using the combined H(z)+Pantheon+BAO data set. We study the asymptotic behavior of our cosmological bulk viscous model by utilizing the phase space method. We find that corresponding to all three cases, our model depicts the evolution of the universe from matter dominated decelerated epoch (a past attractor) to a stable de-sitter accelerated epoch (a future attractor). Further, we study the physical behavior of effective pressure, effective equation of state (EoS), and the statefinder parameters. We find that the pressure component in the presence of bulk viscosity shows negative behavior and the effective EoS parameter predicts the accelerated expansion phase of the universe for all three cases. Moreover, we obtain that the trajectories of our model lie in the quintessence region and it converges to the $Λ$CDM fixed point in the far future. We find that the accelerated deSitter like phase comes purely from the $\barζ_0$ case without any geometrical modification to GR. Moreover, we find that the late-time behavior of all three cases of viscosity coefficients are identical.

Baryogenesis in $f(R,L_m)$ gravity

This paper aims to recreate the gravitational baryogenesis epoch in the framework of the $f(R,L_m)$ theory of gravity, where $R$ and $L_m$ are the curvature scalar and the matter Langragian, respectively. In particular, we examine the model, $f(R,L_m) = \frac{R}{2} + L_m ^α + ζ$, under the supposition that the universe is saturated with dark energy and perfect fluid, with a non-zero baryon to entropy ratio during a radiation dominance era. We confine the model with the gravitational baryogenesis scenario, emphasizing the appropriate values of model parameters compatible with the baryon-to-entropy ratio observation data. Our study found that $f(R,L_m)$ gravity can considerably and steadily make a contribution to the phenomenon of gravitational baryogenesis.

On the impact of $f(Q)$ gravity on the Large Scale Structure

We investigate the exponential $f(Q)$ symmetric teleparallel gravitation, namely $f(Q)=Q+αQ_0(1-e^{-β\sqrt{Q/Q_0}})$ using \texttt{ME-GADGET} code to probe the structure formation with box sizes $L_{\mathrm{box}}=10/100$ Mpc$/h$ and middle resolution $N_p^{1/3}=512$. To reproduce viable cosmology within the aforementioned modified gravity theory, we first perform Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) sampling on OHD/BAO/Pantheon datasets and constrain a parameter space. Furthermore, we also derive theoretical values for deceleration parameter $q(z)$, statefinder pair $\{r,s\}$ and effective gravitational constant $G_{\mathrm{eff}}$, perform $Om(z)$ diagnostics. While carrying out N-body+SPH simulations, we derive CDM+baryons over density/temperature/mean molecular weight fields, matter power spectrum (both 2/3D, with/without redshift space distortions), bispectrum, two-point correlation function and halo mass function. Results for small and big simulation box sizes are therefore properly compared, halo mass function is related to the Seth-Tormen theoretical prediction and matter power spectrum to the standard \texttt{CAMB} output.

Constant sound speed and its thermodynamical interpretation in $f(Q)$ gravity

On the basis of homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) geometry, solutions to the issues of cosmic acceleration and dark energy are being put forth within the context of $f\left( Q\right)$ gravity. We take into account a power law $f(Q)$ model using $f\left( Q\right) =αQ^{n}$, where $α$ and $n$ are free model parameters. In the current scenario, we may establish the energy density and pressure for our $f(Q)$ cosmic model by applying the constant sound speed parameterizations, i.e., $\vartheta_{s}^{2}=β$, where a barotropic cosmic fluid is described in terms of $β$. The field equations are then derived, and their precise solutions are established. We obtain the constraints on the model parameters using the updated Hubble (Hz) data sets consisting of 31 data points, the recently published Pantheon samples (SNe) with 1048 points, and Baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) data sets. We also examine the physical behaviour of the deceleration parameter, the equation of state (EoS) parameter, the statefinder diagnostic, and the Om diagnostic. We conclude that our $f\left( Q\right) $\ cosmic model predicts a transition in the universe from deceleration to acceleration. Further, to investigate the feasibility of the model, we discussed some of its thermodynamic aspects.

Study of tunneling radiation and thermal fluctuations of a gauge super gravity like black hole

The Newman-Janis technique and the semi-classical Hamilton-Jacobi approach are two distinct phenomena that we apply in this paper to examine the Hawking temperature $(T_{H})$ for $4$-dimensional gauge super gravity like black hole with rotation parameters. First, using the Newman-Janis algorithmic approach, we compute the gauge super gravity like black holes solution. We use surface gravity to derive the $T_H$ for a gauge super gravity like black hole. In order to do this, we use the Lagrangian field equation in the background of generalized uncertainty principle, semi-classical Hamilton-Jacobi approach and the WKB approximation technique. Furthermore, we investigate the stability of considered geometry with the help of corrected entropy and well known thermodynamic quantities. It is concluded that the gauge super gravity like black holes is stable under first-order corrections.

Gravastar in the Framework of Symmetric Teleparallel Gravity

In the current research, we present a novel gravastar model based on the Mazur-Mottola (2004) method with an isotropic matter distribution in $f(Q)$ gravity. The gravastar, a hypothesized substitute for a black hole, is built using the Mazur-Mottola mechanism. This approach allows us to define gravastar as having three stages. The first one is an inner region with negative pressure; the next region is a thin shell that is made up of ultrarelativistic stiff fluid, we have studied proper length, energy, entropy, and surface energy density for this region. Apart from that, we have demonstrated the possible stability of our suggested thin shell gravastar model through the graphical study of surface redshift. Exterior Schwarzschild geometry describes the outer region of the gravastar. In the context of $f(Q)$ gravity, we have discovered analytical solutions for the interior of gravastars that are free of any kind of singularity and the event horizon.

$f(Q,T)$ gravity, its covariant formulation, energy conservation and phase-space analysis

In the present article we analyze the matter-geometry coupled $f(Q,T)$ theory of gravity. We offer the fully covariant formulation of the theory, with which we construct the correct energy balance equation and employ it to conduct a dynamical system analysis in a spatially flat Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker spacetime. We consider three different functional forms of the $f(Q,T)$ function, specifically, $f(Q,T)=αQ+ βT$, $f(Q,T)=αQ+ βT^2$, and $f(Q,T)=Q+ αQ^2+ βT$ . We attempt to investigate the physical capabilities of these models to describe various cosmological epochs. We calculate Friedmann-like equations in each case and introduce some phase space variables to simplify the equations in more concise forms. We observe that the linear model $f(Q,T)=αQ+ βT$ with $β=0$ is completely equivalent to the GR case without cosmological constant $Λ$. Further, we find that the model $f(Q,T)=αQ+ βT^2$ with $β\neq 0$ successfully depicts the observed transition from decelerated phase to an accelerated phase of the universe. Lastly, we find that the model $f(Q,T)= Q+ αQ^2+ βT$ with $α\neq 0$ represents an accelerated de-Sitter epoch for the constraints $β< -1$ or $ β\geq 0$.

Cosmology with viscous generalized Chaplygin gas in $f(Q)$ gravity

We use the hybrid model of bulk viscosity and generalized chaplygin gas (GCG), named the viscous generalized chaplygin gas (VGCG) model, which is thought to be an alternate dark fluid of the universe. We explore the dynamics of the VGCG model in the framework of the non-metricity $f(Q)$ gravity using the functional form $f(Q)=βQ^n$, where $β$ and $n$ are arbitrary constants. For the purpose of constraining model parameters, we use recent observational datasets such as Observational Hubble data, Baryon Acoustic Oscillations, and Type $Ia$ supernovae data. According to our study, the evolution of the deceleration parameter $q$ and the equation of state (EoS) parameter $w$ show a transition from deceleration to an acceleration phase and its deviation from the $Λ$CDM model.

Dark energy constraint on equation of state parameter in the Weyl type $f(Q,T)$ gravity

The equation of state parameter is a significant method for characterizing dark energy models. We investigate the evolution of the equation of state parameter with redshift using a Bayesian analysis of recent observational datasets (the Cosmic Chronometer data (CC) and Pantheon samples). The Chevallier-Polarski-Linder parametrization of the effective equation of state parameter, $ω_{eff}=ω_0+ω_a \left( \frac{z}{1+z}\right) $, where $ω_0$ and $ω_a$ are free constants, is confined to the Weyl type $f(Q,T)$ gravity, where $Q$ represents the non-metricity and $T$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. We observe the evolution of the deceleration parameter $q$, the density parameter $ρ$, the pressure $p$, and the effective equation of state parameter $ω$. The cosmic data limit for $ω$ does not exclude the possibility of $ω< -1$. It is seen that the parameter $ω$ shows a transition from deceleration to acceleration, as well as a shift from $ω>-1$ to $ω<-1$.

Non-Singular Bouncing Model in Energy Momentum Squared Gravity

This work is concerned to study the bouncing nature of the universe for an isotropic configuration of fluid $\mathcal{T}_{αβ}$ and Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker metric scheme. This work is carried out under the novel $f(\mathcal{G},\mathcal{T}_{αβ} \mathcal{T}^{αβ})$ gravitation by assuming a specific model i.e, $f(\mathcal{G},\mathcal{T}^2)=\mathcal{G}+α\mathcal{G}^2+2λ\mathcal{T}^2$ with $α$ and $λ$ are constants, serving as free parameters. {The terms $\mathcal{G}$ and $\mathcal{T}^2$ served as an Gauss-Bonnet invariant and square of the energy-momentum trace term as an inclusion in the gravitational action respectively, and is proportional to $\mathcal{T}^2=\mathcal{T}_{αβ} \mathcal{T}^{αβ}$.} A specific functional form of the Hubble parameter is taken to provide the evolution of cosmographic parameters. A well known equation of state parameter, $ω(t)=-\frac{k \log (t+ε)}{t}-1$ is used to represent the dynamical behavior of energy density, matter pressure and energy conditions. A detailed graphical analysis is also provided to review the bounce. Furthermore, all free parameters are set in a way, to make the supposed Hubble parameter act as the bouncing solution and ensure the viability of energy conditions. Conclusively, all necessary conditions for a bouncing model are checked.

Reconstruction of $f(Q,T)$ Lagrangian for various cosmological scenario

The variety of theories that can account for the dark energy phenomenon encourages current research to concentrate on a more in-depth examination of the potential impacts of modified gravity on both local and cosmic scales. We discuss some cosmological reconstruction in $f(Q,T)$ cosmology (where $Q$ is the non-metricity scalar, and $T$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor) corresponding to the evolution background in Friedmann-Laîmatre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) universe. This helps us to determine how any FLRW cosmology can arise from a specific $f(Q,T)$ theory. We use the reconstruction technique to derive explicit forms of $f(Q,T)$ Lagrangian for the different kinds of matter sources and Einstein's static universe. We also formulate the models using several ansatz forms of the $f(Q,T)$ function for $p=ωρ$. We demonstrate that several classes of $f(Q,T)$ theories admit the power-law and de-Sitter solutions in some ranges of $ω$. Additionally, we reconstruct the cosmological model for the scalar field with a specific form of $f(Q,T)$. These new models with cosmological inspiration may impact gravitational phenomena at other cosmological scales.

A new parametrization of Hubble parameter in $f(Q)$ gravity

In this paper, we examine the accelerated expansion of the Universe at late-time in the framework of $f\left( Q\right) $ gravity theory in which the non-metricity scalar $Q$ describes the gravitational interaction. To this, we propose a new parametrization of the Hubble parameter using a model-independent way and apply it to the Friedmann equations in the FLRW Universe. Then we estimate the best fit values of the model parameters by using the combined datasets of updated $H(z)$ consisting of $57$ points, the Pantheon consisting of $1048$ points, and BAO datasets consisting of six points with the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method. The evolution of deceleration parameter indicates a transition from the deceleration to the acceleration phase of the Universe. In addition, we investigate the behavior of statefinder analysis and Om diagnostic parameter, Further, to discuss other cosmological parameters, we consider a $f\left( Q\right) $\ model, specifically, $f\left( Q\right) =Q+mQ^{n}$, where $m$ and $n$ are free parameters. Finally, we find that the model supports the present accelerating Universe, and the EoS parameter behaves like the quintessence model.

Paramerization of deceleration parameter in $f(Q)$ gravity

In this article, we investigate the modified symmetric teleparallel gravity or $f(Q)$ gravity, where $Q$ is the non-metricity, to study the evolutionary history of the universe by considering the functional form of $f(Q)=αQ^n$, where $α$ and $n$ are constants. Here, we consider the parametrization form of the deceleration parameter as $q=q_0+\frac{q_1\,z}{(1+z)^2}$ which provides the desired property for sign flip from a decelerating to an accelerating phase. We get the solution of the Hubble parameter by examining the mentioned parametric form of $q$, and then we impose the solution in Friedmann equations. Employing the Bayesian analysis for the Observational Hubble data (OHD), we estimated the constraints on the associated free parameters $(H_0,q_0,q_1)$ to determine if this model may challenge the $Λ$CDM limitations. Furthermore, the constrained current value of the deceleration parameter $q_0=-0.832^{+0.091}_{-0.091}$ shows that the present universe is accelerating. We also investigate the evolutionary trajectory of energy density, pressure, and EoS parameters to conclude the accelerating behavior of the universe. Finally, we try to demonstrate that the considered parametric form of the deceleration parameter is compatible with $f(Q)$ gravity.
