The Constrained MKP Hierarchy and the Generalized Kupershmidt-Wilson Theorem

The constrained Modified KP hierarchy is considered from the viewpoint of modification. It is shown that its second Poisson bracket, which has a rather complicated form, is associated to a vastly simpler bracket via Miura-type map. The similar results are established for a natural reduction of MKP.

Sequences of Levy Transformations and Multi-Wroński Determinant Solutions of the Darboux System

Sequences of Levy transformations for the Darboux system of conjugates nets in multidimensions are studied. We show that after a suitable number of Levy transformations, with at least a Levy transformation in each direction, we get closed formulae in terms of multi-Wroński determinants. These formulae are for the tangent vectors, Lamè coefficients, rotation coefficients and points of the surface.

Fully Supersymmetric Hierarchies From A Energy Dependent Super Hill Operator

A super Hill operator with energy dependent potentials is proposed and the associated integrable hierarchy is constructed explicitly. It is shown that in the general case, the resulted hierarchy is multi-Hamiltonian system. The Miura type transformations and modified hierarchies are also presented.

Darboux Transformation for the Manin-Radul Supersymmetric KdV equation

In this paper we present a vectorial Darboux transformation, in terms of ordinary determinants, for the supersymmetric extension of the Korteweg-de Vries equation proposed by Manin and Radul. It is shown how this transformation reduces to the Korteweg-de Vries equation. Soliton type solutions are constructed by dressing the vacuum and we present some relevant plots.

Crum Transformations and Wronskian Type Solutions for Supersymmetric KdV equation

Darboux transformation is reconsidered for the supersymmetric KdV system. By iterating the Darboux transformation, a supersymmetric extension of the Crum transformation is obtained for the Manin-Radul SKdV equation, in doing so one gets Wronskian superdeterminant representations for the solutions. Particular examples provide us explicit supersymmetric extensions, super solitons, of the standard soliton of the KdV equation. The KdV soliton appears as the body of the super soliton.

On the Classical $W_{4}^{(2)}$ Algebra

We consider the classical \w42 algebra from the integrable system viewpoint. The integrable evolution equations associated with the \w42 algebra are constructed and the Miura maps , consequently modifications, are presented. Modifying the Miura maps, we give a free field realization the classical \w42 algebra. We also construct the Toda type integrable systems for it.

Supersymmetric Harry Dym Type Equations

A supersymmetric version is proposed for the well known Harry Dym system. A general class super Lax operator which leads to consistent equations is considered.

Hamiltonian Structures of Multi-component Constrained KP Hierarchy

We consider the Hamiltonian theory for the multi-component KP hierarchy. We show that the second Hamiltonian structures constructed by Sidorenko and Strampp[J. Math. Phys. {\bf 34}, 1429(1993)] are not Hamiltonian. A candidate for the second Hamiltonian Structures is proposed and is proved to lead to hereditary operators.

The integrable hierarchy constructed from a pair of KdV-type hierarchies and its associated $W$ algebra

For any two arbitrary positive integers `$n$' and `$m$', using the $m$--th KdV hierarchy and the $(n+m)$--th KdV hierarchy as building blocks, we are able to construct another integrable hierarchy (referred to as the $(n,m)$--th KdV hierarchy). The $W$--algebra associated to the \shs\, of the $(n,m)$--th KdV hierarchy (called $W(n,m)$ algebra) is isomorphic via a Miura map to the direct sum of $W_m$--algebra, $W_{n+m}$--algebra and an additional $U(1)$ current algebra. In turn, from the latter, we can always construct a representation of $W_\infty$--algebra.

Darboux Transformations for Supersymmetric Korteweg - de Vries Equations

\hspace{.2in}We consider the Darboux type transformations for the spectral problems of supersymmetric KdV systems. The supersymmetric analogies of Darboux and Darboux-Levi transformations are established for the spectral problems of Manin-Radul-Mathieu sKdV and Manin-Radul sKdV. Several Bäcklund transformations are derived for the MRM sKdV and MR sKdV systems.
