Reconstructing $f(R)$ gravity from Viaggiu Holographic Dark Energy under Hubble, Event Horizon and Granda Oliveros cutoffs

This work explores the reconstruction of $f(R)$ gravity within the framework of newly proposed Viaggiu holographic dark energy (VHDE), which incorporates entropy corrections due to the dynamical nature of cosmological horizons. By implementing a correspondence between VHDE and curvature-induced energy density, we generate explicit forms of $f(R)$ for different infrared cutoffs, namely the Hubble horizon, future event horizon, and Granda Oliveros cutoff. The resulting models are analyzed graphically through the cosmological parameters such as the equation of state and deceleration parameter, revealing a successful description of the transition from decelerated to accelerated expansion. The viability of the reconstructed models is further examined through stability conditions and local gravity constraints, that yields the nature of the models as free from ghost and tachyonic instabilities and demonstrates VHDE-inspired $f(R)$ gravity model as a consistent and flexible geometric framework for explaining the late-time cosmic acceleration of the Universe.

Interplay of Holographic and New Agegraphic Dark Energy in Cosmology: A hybrid dark energy model from a generalized length-time cut-off

The spatial and temporal infrared cutoffs are the source of the Holographic dark energy (HDE) and New Agegraphic dark energy (NADE) models, respectively. Inspired by the spacetime unification of space and time in General Relativity, we propose that a combined spacetime cutoff should govern the dark energy density, with HDE and NADE appearing as limiting cases when the spatial or temporal contribution predominates. In this connection, we explore a hybrid model of holographic and new Agegraphic dark energy, where the energy density of the resulting model is a combination of the two models. We consider an interacting and a non-interacting scenario between the hybrid dark energy model and cold dark matter. Cosmological implications of the model is studied via different cosmological parameters like the equation of state parameter, deceleration parameter, statefinder parameter, and Om-diagnostic. A stability check for the model has been performed using the squared speed of sound. Finally the parameter space of the model is constrained using observational data like Hubble data, BAO data and DESI data. We have also checked the Hubble tension for our hybrid model and found it to be substantially low in comparison to other models. From our analysis we see that the constructed hybrid dark energy model can describe the evolution of the universe successfully.

Gravitational waves driven by Holographic dark energy

In this paper, we have studied the effects of holographic dark energy on the evolution of gravitational waves. The background evolution of gravitational waves in a flat FRW universe is considered and studied in the presence of various holographic dark energy models. The perturbation equations governing the evolution of the gravitational waves have been constructed and solutions are obtained. These solutions are studied in detail to get a proper understanding of the characteristics of the gravitational waves in the presence of holographic dark energy. The work can be a significant tool in studying different dark energy models comparatively using the features of the gravitational wave evolution.

The effects of the pole dark energy on gravitational waves

In this paper, we have studied the effects of pole dark energy on the evolution of gravitational waves. The background evolution of gravitational waves in a flat FRW universe is considered and its dynamics are studied in the presence of pole dark energy. Two different potential functions are considered for the study. Using the field equations, we formulated the perturbed equations governing the evolution of gravitational waves with respect to redshift z within the background of the FRW Universe. Subsequently, we delved into the characteristics of gravitational waves for the pole dark energy model and reached interesting results.

Constraining Cosmological Parameters with Viscous Modified Chaplygin Gas and Generalized Cosmic Chaplygin Gas Models in Horava-Lifshitz Gravity: Utilizing Late-time Datasets

This study examines accelerated cosmic expansion using the Viscous Modified Chaplygin Gas (VMMG) and Generalized Cosmic Chaplygin Gas (GCCM) within Horava-Lifshitz gravity. Our aim is to constrain essential cosmological parameters, such as the Hubble Parameter ($H_{0}$) and Sound Horizon ($r_{d}$). We utilize late-time datasets: 17 Baryon Acoustic Oscillation observations, 33 Cosmic Chronometer measurements, 40 Type Ia Supernovae data points, 24 quasar Hubble diagram data points, and 162 Gamma Ray Bursts data points, along with the latest determination of the Hubble constant (R22). Treating $r_{d}$ as a free parameter offers several advantages, including mitigating bias, enhancing precision, and improving compatibility with various datasets. By introducing random correlations in the covariance matrix during simulation, errors are effectively reduced. Our estimated values of the Hubble constant ($H_0$) and $r_{d}$ consistently align with measurements from both the Planck and SDSS experiments. Cosmographic tests provide valuable insights into the dynamics of various cosmological models, enriching our understanding of cosmic evolution. Statefinder diagnostics offer deeper insights into cosmic expansion dynamics, aiding in distinguishing between cosmological frameworks. Furthermore, the $o_{m}$ diagnostic test reveals that at late times, VMMG falls into the phantom region, while GCCM falls into the quintessence region. The Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC) support all models, indicating plausible explanations. Notably, the $\Lambda$CDM model emerges with the lowest AIC score, suggesting its relatively superior fit. Validation via the reduced $\chi_{\text{red}}^{2}$ statistic confirms satisfactory fits across all models, reinforcing their credibility.

Constraints on the parameters of modified Chaplygin-Jacobi and modified Chaplygin-Abel gases in $f(T)$ gravity

In this study, we investigate two dark energy models, MCJG and MCAG, in the context of $f(T)$ gravity within a non-flat FLRW Universe. Our analysis considers radiation, dark matter, and dark energy components. We compare the equation of state for MCJG and MCAG with $f(T)$ gravity. Using recent astronomical data (e.g., $H(z)$, type Ia supernovae, Gamma Ray Bursts, quasars, and BAO), we constrain the models' parameters and explore the Universe's behavior. The reduced Hubble parameter is expressed in terms of observable parameters like $\Omega_{r0}$, $\Omega_{m0}$, $\Omega_{k0}$, $\Omega_{CJ0}$, $\Omega_{CA0}$, and $H_0$. We investigate cosmic evolution using deceleration, $\mathrm{Om}$, and statefinder diagnostics. Information criteria are employed to assess model viability, comparing against the standard $\Lambda$CDM model. Our objective is to deepen our understanding of dark energy, its relation to $f(T)$ gravity, and the mechanisms governing the accelerated expansion of the Universe.

Inflation driven by Barrow Holographic dark energy

In this work we have investigated the inflation mechanism driven by the Barrow Holographic dark energy (BHDE) in the early universe. BHDE is based on the Barrow relation for horizon entropy, which in turn is inspired from the shape of the COVID-19 virus. It was shown by Barrow that the quantum gravitational effects may instigate complex fractal features in the structure of a black hole. Since the length scale during the inflation is expected to be small, the energy density obtained from the application of the holographic principle in the early universe will be large enough to support the inflationary scenario. Using the Granda-Oliveros IR cut-off we have studied the inflationary scenario with the universe filled with BHDE. Various analytic solutions for the model were found out including the slow-roll parameters, scalar spectral index and tensor-to-scalar ratio. Since inflation is generally attributed to the presence of scalar fields, we have explored a correspondence between BHDE and scalar field models. Both canonical scalar field and the Tachyonic scalar field have been considered for this purpose. The evolution of the potential generated from the fields are plotted and found to be consistent with the observations. From the work we see that BHDE can be a model of dark energy that can successfully drive the early time inflation.

Holographic application in cosmology: Thermodynamics of the Van der Waals cosmic fluid

This paper is devoted to investigate the thermodynamic stability of a generic cosmological fluid known as Van der Waals fluid in the context of flat FRW universe. It is treated as a perfect fluid that obeys the equation of state $P=\frac{γρ}{1-βρ}-αρ^{2}, 0\leqγ<1$, where $ρ$ stands for energy density and $P$ stands for pressure of the fluid. In this regard, we discuss the behavior of physical parameters to analyze the evolution of the universe. We investigate whether the cosmological scenario fulfills the third law of thermodynamics using specific heat formalism. Next we discuss the thermal equation of state and by means of adiabatic, specific heat and isothermal conditions from classical thermodynamics we examine the thermal stability.

Vaidya Spacetime in Brans-Dicke Gravity's Rainbow

In this note we study an energy dependent deformation of a time dependent geometry in the background of Brans-Dicke gravity theory. The study is performed using the gravity's rainbow formalism. We compute the field equations in Brans-Dicke gravity's rainbow using Vaidya metric which is a time dependent geometry. We study a star collapsing under such conditions. Our prime objective is to determine the nature of singularity formed as a result of gravitational collapse and its strength. The idea is to test the validity of the cosmic censorship hypothesis for our model. We have also studied the effect of such a deformation on the thermalization process. In this regard we have calculated the important thermodynamical quantities such as thermalization temperature, Helmholtz free energy, specific heat and analyzed the behavior of such quantities.

Gravitational Baryogenesis in Ho$\check{r}$ava-Lifshitz gravity

In this work we intend to address the matter-antimatter asymmetry via the gravitational baryogenesis mechanism in the background of a quantum theory of gravity. We investigate this mechanism under the framework of Ho$\check{r}$ava-Lifshitz gravity. We will compute the baryon-to-entropy ratio in the chosen framework and investigate its physical viability against the observational bounds. We also conduct the above study for various sources of matter like scalar field and Chaplygin gas as specific examples. We speculate that quantum corrections from the background geometry will lead to interesting results.

Correspondence between Electro-Magnetic Field and other Dark Energies in Non-linear Electrodynamics

In this work, we have considered the flat FRW model of the universe filled with electro-magnetic field. First, the Maxwell's electro-magnetic field in linear form has been discussed and after that the modified Lagrangian in non-linear form for accelerated universe has been considered. The corresponding energy density and pressure for non-linear electro-magnetic field have been calculated. We have found the condition such that the electro-magnetic field generates dark energy. The correspondence between the electro-magnetic field and the other dark energy candidates namely tachyonic field, DBI-essence, Chaplygin gas, hessence dark energy, k-essenece and dilaton dark energy have been investigated. We have also reconstructed the potential functions and the scalar fields in this scenario.
