Nonperturbative quantization à la Heisenberg for non-Abelian gauge theories: two-equation approximation

The nonperturbative quantization technique à la Heisenberg is applied for non-Abelian gauge theories. The operator Yang-Mills equation is written, which on the corresponding averaging gives an infinite set of equations for all Green functions. We split all degrees of freedom into two groups: in the former, we have $A^a_μ\in \mathcal G \subset SU(N)$, and in the second group we have coset degrees of freedom $SU(N) / \mathcal G$. Using such splitting and some assumptions about 2- and 4-point Green functions, we truncate the infinite set of equations to two equations. The first equation is for the gauge fields from the subgroup $\mathcal G$, and the second equation is for a gluon condensate which is the dispersion of quantum fluctuations of the coset fields. Two examples are considered: The first one is a flux tube solution describing longitudinal color electric fields stretched between quark and antiquark located at the $\pm$ infinities. The second one is a flux tube stretched between two quarks (antiquarks) located at $\pm \infty$. A special case is considered when the longitudinal electric field produced by a quark located at $+ \infty$ is equal and oppositely directed to the field generated by a quark located at $- \infty$ that leads to zero total electric field. Both solutions represents the dual Meissner effect: the electric field is pushed out from the gluon condensate.

Dispersion relations for gravitational waves in different models of dark energy

The propagation of weak gravitational waves on the background of dark energy is studied. The consideration is carried out within the framework of an approximate approach where the cosmological scale factor is expanded as a power series for relatively small values of the redshift corresponding to the epoch of the present accelerated expansion of the Universe. For several different dark energy models, we obtain dispersion relations for gravitational waves which can be used to estimate the viability of every specific model by comparing with observational data.

Extended objects in nonperturbative quantum field theory and the cosmological constant

We consider a gravitating extended object constructed from vacuum fluctuations of nonperturbatively quantized non-Abelian gauge fields. An approximate description of such an object is given by two gravitating scalar fields. The object has a core filled with a constant energy density of the vacuum fluctuations of the quantum fields. The core is located inside a cosmological event horizon. An exact analytical solution of the Einstein equations for such a core is presented. The value of the energy density of the vacuum fluctuations is connected with the cosmological constant.

Topologically nontrivial solution in Einstein-Dirac gravity on the Hopf bundle

The topologically nontrivial solution in Einstein-Dirac gravity with cosmological constant is obtained. The spacetime has the Hopf bundle as a spatial section. It is shown that the Hopf invariant is related to the spinor current density. Two Dirac spinors are used for obtaining a diagonal energy-momentum tensor. The solutions for the nongravitating Dirac equation on the background of Lorentzian spacetime with the Hopf bundle as a spatial section are also obtained. Nongravitating solutions of the Dirac equation are defined by two quantum half-integer numbers $m, n$.

Singularity-free model of electrically charged fermionic particles and gauged Q-balls

We propose a model of an electrically charged fermion as a regular localized solution of electromagnetic and spinor fields interacting with a physical vacuum, which is phenomenologically described as a logarithmic superfluid. We analytically study the asymptotic behavior of the solution, while obtaining its form by numerical methods. The solution has physically plausible properties, such as finite size, self-energy, total charge and mass. In the case of spherical symmetry, its electric field obeys the Coulomb asymptotics at large distances from its core. It is shown that the observable rest mass of the fermion arises as a result of interaction of the fields with the physical vacuum. The spinor and scalar field components of the solution decay exponentially outside the core; therefore they can be regarded as internal degrees of freedom which can only be probed at sufficiently large scales of energy and momentum. Apart from conventional Fermi particles, our model can find applications in a theory of exotic localized objects, such as U(1) gauged Q-balls with half-integer spin.

Can mixed star-plus-wormhole systems mimic black holes?

We consider mixed strongly gravitating configurations consisting of a wormhole threaded by two types of ordinary matter. For such systems, the possibility of obtaining static spherically symmetric solutions describing compact massive central objects enclosed by high-redshift surfaces (black-hole-like configurations) is studied. Using the standard thin accretion disk model, we exhibit potentially observable differences allowing to distinguish the mixed systems from ordinary black holes with the same masses.

Compact and extended objects from self-interacting phantom fields

In this work we investigate localized and extended objects for gravitating, self-interacting phantom fields. The phantom fields come from two scalar fields with a "wrong sign" (negative) kinetic energy term in the Lagrangian. This study covers several solutions supported by these phantom fields: phantom balls, traversable wormholes, phantom cosmic strings, and "phantom" domain walls. These four systems are solved numerically and we try to draw out general, interesting features in each case.

Stochastic Einstein equations with fluctuating volume

We develop a simple model to study classical fields on the background of a fluctuating spacetime volume. It is applied to formulate the stochastic Einstein equations with a perfect-fluid source. We investigate the particular case of a stochastic Friedmann-Lemaître-Robertson-Walker cosmology, and show that the resulting field equations can lead to solutions which avoid the initial big bang singularity. By interpreting the fluctuations as the result of the presence of a quantum spacetime, we conclude that classical singularities can be avoided even within a stochastic model that include quantum effects in a very simple manner.

Scalar model of SU(N) glueball à la Heisenberg

Nonperturbative model of glueball is studied. The model is based on the nonperturbative quantization technique suggested by Heisenberg. 2- and 4-point Green functions for a gauge potential are expressed in terms of two scalar fields. The first scalar field describes quantum fluctuations of the subgroup $SU(n) \subset SU(N)$, and the second one describes quantum fluctuations of the coset $SU(N) / SU(n)$. An effective Lagrangian for the scalar fields is obtained. The coefficients for all terms in the Lagrangian are calculated, and it is shown that they depend on $\dim SU(n), \dim SU(N)$. It is demonstrated that a spherically symmetric solution describing the glueball does exist.

The simplest non-associative generalization of supersymmetry

Nonassociative generalization of supersymmetry is suggested. 3- and 4-point associators for supersymmetric generators are considered. On the basis of zero Jacobiators for three supersymmetric generators, we have obtained the simplest form of 3-point associators. The connection between 3- and 4-point associators is considered. On the basis of this connection, 4-point associators are obtained. The Jacobiators for the product of four supersymmetric generators are calculated. We discuss the possible physical meaning of numerical coefficients presented on the right-hand sides of associators. The possible connection between supersymmetry, hidden variables, and nonassociativity is discussed.

Scalar model of glueball in nonperturbative quantisation à la Heisenberg

A scalar model of glueball is considered. The model is based on two scalar fields approximation for SU(3) non-Abelian Lagrangian. The approach to approximation makes use of the assumption that 2 and 4-points Green's functions are described in terms of some two scalar fields. The model is described via non-perturbative method due to value of coupling constant, which does not permit us using of Feynman diagrams and therefore of perturbative methods. Asymptotical behaviour of the scalar fields are obtained. Profiles of these fileds calculated for a range of values of a parameter of the problem is given. Detailed numerical investigation of corresponding equations describing this model is performed. The dependence of the glueball mass vs parameters of scalar fields is shown. Comparison of characteristics of glueball obtained in our two-scalar model and predictions of other models and experimental data for glueball is performed.

Star-plus-wormhole systems with two interacting scalar fields

We study static, spherically symmetric mixed configurations with a nontrivial (wormhole) spacetime topology provided by the presence of two interacting ghost scalar fields. Wormhole is assumed to be filled by a perfect relativistic neutron fluid modeled by a polytropic equation of state. For such mixed configurations, we find regular, asymptotically flat general relativistic solutions. It is shown that the maximum of the fluid density is always shifted from the center, and the resulting configurations represent, in general, double-throat systems.

Three-point non-associative supersymmetry generalization

We consider a non-associative generalization of supersymmetry based on three-point associators like $\left[ Q_x, Q_y, Q_z \right]$ for $Q_{a, \dot a}$ supersymmetric generators. Such associators are connected with the products of $Q_{a, \dot a}$ and $x_{b \dot b}$. We: (a) calculate Jacobiators and show that the Jacobiators can be zero with some choice of corresponding coefficients in associators; (b) perform dimensional analysis for the coefficients in associators; (d) calculate some commutators involving coordinates and momentums; (e) estimate the weakness of non-associativity.

Nonassociatuve generalization of supersymmetry

A nonassociative generalization of supersymmetry is studied, where supersymmetry generators are considered to be the nonassociative ones. Associators for the product of three and four multipliers are defined. Using a special choice of the parameters, it is shown that the associator of the product of four supersymmetry generators is connected with the angular momentum operator. The connection of operator decomposition to the hidden variables theory and alternative quantum mechanics is discussed.

Magnetic fields in mixed neutron-star-plus-wormhole systems

We consider mixed configurations consisting of a wormhole filled by a strongly magnetized isotropic or anisotropic neutron fluid. The nontrivial topology of the spacetime is allowed by the presence of exotic matter. By comparing these configurations with ordinary magnetized neutron stars, we clarify the question of how the presence of the nontrivial topology influences the magnetic field distribution inside the fluid. In the case of an anisotropic fluid, we find new solutions describing configurations, where the maximum of the fluid density is shifted from the center. A linear stability analysis shows that these mixed configurations are unstable.

Modified gravity from the nonperturbative quantization of a metric

Based on certain assumptions for the expectation value of a product of the quantum fluctuating metric at two points, the gravitational and scalar field Lagrangians are evaluated. Assuming a vanishing expectation value of the first order terms of the metric, the calculations are performed with an accuracy of second order. It is shown that such quantum corrections give rise to modified gravity.

Modeling a nonperturbative spinor vacuum interacting with a strong gravitational wave

We consider the propagation of strong gravitational waves interacting with a nonperturbative vacuum of spinor fields. To described the latter, we suggest an approximate model. The corresponding Einstein equation has the form of the Schrödinger equation. Its gravitational-wave solution is analogous to the solution of the Schrödinger equation for an electron moving in a periodic potential. The general solution for the periodic gravitational waves is found. The analog of the Kronig-Penney model for gravitational waves is considered. It is shown that the suggested gravitational-wave model permits the existence of weak electric charge and current densities concomitant with the gravitational wave. Based on this observation, a possible experimental verification of the model is suggested.

Magnetic fields in anisotropic relativistic stars

Relativistic, spherically symmetric configurations consisting of a gravitating magnetized anisotropic fluid are studied. For such configurations, we obtain static equilibrium solutions with an axisymmetric, poloidal magnetic field produced by toroidal electric currents. The presence of such a field results in small deviations of the shape of the configuration from spherical symmetry. This in turn leads to the modification of an equation for the current and correspondingly to changes in the structure of the internal magnetic field for the systems supported by the anisotropic fluid, in contrast to the case of an isotropic fluid, where such deviations do not affect the magnetic field.
