${\rm Z}^{+}(4430)$ and Analogous Heavy Flavor States

The proximity of ${\rm Z}^+(4430)$ to the ${\rm D^{*}\bar{D}_1}$ threshold suggests that it may be a ${\rm D^{*}\bar{D}_1}$ molecular state. The ${\rm D^{*}\bar{D}_1}$ system has been studied dynamically from quark model, and state mixing effect is taken into account by solving the multichannel Schr$\ddot{\rm o}$dinger equation numerically. We suggest the most favorable quantum number is ${\rm J^{P}=0^{-}}$, if future experiments confirm ${\rm Z}^+(4430)$ as a loosely bound molecule state. More precise measurements of ${\rm Z}^+(4430)$ mass and width, partial wave analysis are helpful to understand its structure. The analogous heavy flavor mesons ${\rm Z}^{+}_{bb}$ and ${\rm Z}^{++}_{bc}$ are studied as well, and the masses predicted in our model are in agreement with the predictions from potential model and QCD sum rule. We further apply our model to the ${\rm D\bar{D}^{*}}$ and ${\rm DD^{*}}$ system. We find the exotic ${\rm DD^{*}}$ bound molecule doesn't exist, while the $1^{++}$ ${\rm D\bar{D}^{*}}$ bound state solution can be found only if the screening mass $μ$ is smaller than 0.17 GeV. The state mixing effect between the molecular state and the conventional charmonium should be considered to understand the nature of X(3872).

Hierarchy Construction of Quantum Hall States and Non-Commutative Chern-Simons Theory

In this paper, we study the non-commutative Chern-Simons description of the hierarchy of quantum Hall states. Our method is based on the framework suggested by Susskind in hep-th/0101029. By using the area preserving diffeomorphism gauge symmetry of quasiparticle fluid, we show that non-commutative Chern-Simons description of the hierarchy construction of quantum Hall states with generic filling fraction can be realized in Susskind's approach. The relationship between our model and the pervious work on the effective field theory of quantum Hall states is also discussed.

Efficient One-way Quantum Computations for Quantum Error Correction

We show how to explicitly construct an $O(nd)$ size and constant quantum depth circuit which encodes any given $n$-qubit stabilizer code with $d$ generators. Our construction is derived using the graphic description for stabilizer codes and the one-way quantum computation model. Our result demonstrates how to use cluster states as scalable resources for many multi-qubit entangled states and how to use the one-way quantum computation model to improve design of quantum algorithms.

Backward Compton Scattering and QED with Noncommutative Plane in the Strong Uniform Magnetic Field

In the strong uniform magnetic field, the noncommutative plane (NCP) caused by the lowest Landau level (LLL) effect, and QED with NCP (QED-NCP) are studied. Being similar to the condensed matter theory of quantum Hall effect, an effective filling factor $f(B)$ is introduced to character the possibility that the electrons stay on the LLL. The analytic and numerical results of the differential cross section for the process of backward Compton scattering in the accelerator with unpolarized or polarized initial photons are calculated. The existing data of BL38B2 in Spring-8 have been analyzed roughly and compared with the numerical predictions primitively. We propose a precise measurement of the differential cross sections of backward Compton scattering in a strong perpendicular magnetic field, which may lead to reveal the effects of QED-NCP.

Reconstructing the Nonlinear Filter Function of LILI-128 Stream Cipher Based on Complexity

In this letter we assert that we have reconstructed the nonlinear filter function of LILI-128 stream cipher on IBM notebook PC using MATLAB. Our reconstruction need approximately 2^12~2^13 and the attack consumes 5825.016 sec (using tic and toc sentences of MATLAB) or 5825.016/3600=1.6181hours. We got the expression of the nonlinear filter function fd of Lili-128 which has 46 items from liner items to nonlinear items based on complexity, the phase space reconstruction, Clustering and nonlinear prediction. We have verified our reconstruction result correctness by simulating the overview of Lili-128 keystream generators using our getting fd and implement designers reference module of the Lili-128 stream cipher, and two methods produce the same synchronous keystream sequence on same initial state, so that our research work proves that the nonlinear filter function of LILI-128 stream cipher is successfully reconstructed.

An explicit family of unitaries with exponentially minimal length Pauli geodesics

Recently, Nielsen et al have proposed a geometric approach to quantum computation. They've shown that the size of the minimum quantum circuits implementing a unitary U, up to polynomial factors, equals to the length of minimal geodesic from identity I through U. They've investigated a large class of solutions to the geodesic equation, called Pauli geodesics. They've raised a natural question whether we can explicitly construct a family of unitaries U that have exponentially long minimal length Pauli geodesics? We give a positive answer to this question.

Hamiltonian Formalism of the de-Sitter Invariant Special Relativity

Lagrangian of the Einstein's special relativity with universal parameter $c$ ($\mathcal{SR}_c$) is invariant under Poincaré transformation which preserves Lorentz metric $η_{μν}$. The $\mathcal{SR}_c$ has been extended to be one which is invariant under de Sitter transformation that preserves so called Beltrami metric $B_{μν}$. There are two universal parameters $c$ and $R$ in this Special Relativity (denote it as $\mathcal{SR}_{cR}$). The Lagrangian-Hamiltonian formulism of $\mathcal{SR}_{cR}$ is formulated in this paper. The canonic energy, canonic momenta, and 10 Noether charges corresponding to the space-time's de Sitter symmetry are derived. The canonical quantization of the mechanics for $\mathcal{SR}_{cR}$-free particle is performed. The physics related to it is discussed.

Backward Compton Scattering in Strong Uniform Magnetic Field

In strong uniform magnetic field, the vacuum Non-Commutative Plane (NCP) caused by the lowest Landau level(LLL) effect and the QED with NCP (QED-NCP) are studied. Being similar to the theory of Quantum Hall effect, an effective filling factor $f(B)$ is introduced to character the possibility that the electrons stays on LLL. The backward Compton scattering amplitudes of QED-NCP are derived, and the differential cross sections for the process with polarized initial electrons and photons are calculated. The existing Spring-8's data has been analyzed primitively and some hints for QED-NCP effects are shown. We propose to precisely measure the differential cross sections of the backward Compton scattering in perpendicular magnetic field experimentally, which may lead to reveal the effects of QED-NCP. The Communication Complexity of the Hamming Distance Problem

We investigate the randomized and quantum communication complexity of the Hamming Distance problem, which is to determine if the Hamming distance between two n-bit strings is no less than a threshold d. We prove a quantum lower bound of Ω(d) qubits in the general interactive model with shared prior entanglement. We also construct a classical protocol of O(d \log d) bits in the restricted Simultaneous Message Passing model, improving previous protocols of O(d^2) bits (A. C.-C. Yao, Proceedings of the Thirty-Fifth Annual ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing, pp. 77-81, 2003), and O(d\log n) bits (D. Gavinsky, J. Kempe, and R. de Wolf, quant-ph/0411051, 2004).
