$η_c$ leading-twist distribution amplitude and the $B_c \to η_c\ell\barν_\ell$ semileptonic decays using QCD Sum Rules

In this paper, we investigate the semileptonic decays $B_c \to η_c\ell\barν_\ell$ using the quantum chromodynamics(QCD) sum rules within the framework of Standard Model (SM). We further explore the potential to probe signatures of new Physics (NP) beyond the SM through these decays. First, we derive the $ξ$-moments $\langleξ_{2;η_c}^{n}\rangle$ of the $η_c$-meson leading-twist distribution amplitude $ϕ_{2;η_c}$ using the QCD sum rules within the background field theory. Considering contributions from the vacuum condensates up to dimension-six, the first two nonzero $ξ$-moments at the scale of $4$ GeV are found to be $\langleξ_{2;η_c}^{2}\rangle = 0.103^{+0.009}_{-0.009}$ and $\langleξ_{2;η_c}^{4}\rangle = 0.031^{+0.003}_{-0.003}$. Using these moments, we then fix the Gegenbauer expansion series of $ϕ_{2;η_c}$ and apply it to compute the $B_c \to η_c$ transition form factors (TFFs) using QCD light cone sum rules. Second, we extrapolate those TFFs to physically allowable $q^2$-range via a simplified series expansion, and we obtain $R_{η_c}|_{\rm SM} = 0.308^{+0.084}_{-0.062}$. Furthermore, we explore the potential impacts of various NP scenarios on $R_{η_c}$. Specifically, we compute the forward-backward asymmetry $\mathcal{A}_{\rm FB}({q^2})$, the convexity parameter $\mathcal{C}_F^τ({q^2})$, and the longitudinal and transverse polarizations $\mathcal{P}_L ({q^2})$ and $\mathcal{P}_T ({q^2})$ for $B_c \to η_c$ transitions within both the SM and two types of NP scenarios. Our results contribute to a deeper understanding of $B_c$-meson semileptonic decays and provide insights into the search for the NP beyond the SM.

Self-consistent analysis for the $η_c\rightarrow γγ$ process

The next-to-next-to-leading-order (NNLO) pQCD predictions for both the decay width and the transition form factor in the $η_c\rightarrow γγ$ process, based on nonrelativistic QCD (NRQCD), deviate from precise experimental measurements. These significant discrepancies have cast doubt on the applicability of NRQCD to charmonium processes. In this paper, we analyze the $η_c\rightarrow γγ$ process by applying the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC), a systematic method for eliminating renormalization scheme and scale ambiguities. The PMC renormalization scales are determined by absorbing the non-conformal $β$ terms which govern the behavior of the QCD running coupling via the Renormalization Group Equation. We obtain the PMC scale $Q_\star=4.49\,m_c$ for the $η_c\rightarrow γγ$ decay width. Even after using the PMC method, the convergence of the pQCD series is still poor, which indicates the importance of uncalculated NNNLO and higher-order terms. The resulting value for $Γ_{η_c\rightarrow γγ}$ is in agreement with the Particle Data Group's reported value of $Γ_{η_c\rightarrow γγ}=5.1\pm0.4$ keV within the bounds of uncertainties. Moreover, the transition form factor obtained using the PMC is also in good agreement with precise experimental measurements. The application of the PMC suggests a potential resolution to $η_c\rightarrow γγ$ puzzle and supports the applicability of NRQCD to charmonium processes.

Updated Determination of Ellis-Jaffe Sum Rules up to $\rm N^{3}LO$ QCD corrections

In this paper, we explore the properties of the Ellis-Jaffe Sum Rule (EJSR) by employing the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC) approach to address its perturbative part up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order ($\rm N^{3}LO$) QCD contributions. By applying the PMC, we achieve a precise perturbative QCD prediction for the EJSR, free from conventional ambiguities associated with the renormalization scale choices. Considering the presence of the $α_s$ Landau pole near the asymptotic scale, we incorporate the low-energy $α_s$ model based on analytic perturbation theory (APT) to refine the EJSR behavior in the infrared region. By combining the PMC approach with the low-energy APT model, the agreement between theoretical calculations and experimental measurements of EJSR is significantly improved, as evidenced by the reduced discrepancy from $χ^{2}/d.o. f|_{\rm Conv.}=1.86$ to $χ^{2}/d.o. f|_{\rm PMC}=1.19$, thereby validating the effectiveness of our approach.

The $ρ$-meson electromagnetic form factors within the light-front quark model

In this paper, we study the $ρ$-meson electromagnetic form factors (EMFFs) within the framework of light-front quark model (LFQM). The physical form factors $G_{C,M,Q}(Q^2)$ of $ρ$-meson as well as the charged square radius $\langle r^2\rangle$, the magnetic moment $μ$ and the quadrupole moment $\bar Q$ are calculated, which describe the behaviors of EMFFs at zero momentum transfer. Using the type-II replacement, we find that the zero-mode does contribute zero to the matrix element $S_{00}^+$. It is found that the ``$M\to M_{0}$" replacement improves angular condition remarkably, which permits different prescriptions of $ρ$-meson EMFFs give the consistent results. The residue tiny violation of angular condition needs other explanations than the zero-mode contributions. Our results indicate that the relativistic effects or interaction internal structure are weaken in the zero-binding limit. This work is also applied for the other spin-1 particles.

Longitudinal leading-twist distribution amplitude of the $^1P_1$-state $b_1(1235)$ meson and its implications on $B\to b_1(1235)\ell^+ν_\ell$ decays

In the paper, we derive the $ξ$-moments $\langleξ_{2;b_1}^{n;\|}\rangle$ of the longitudinal leading-twist distribution amplitude $ϕ_{2;b_1}^{\|}$ for $^1P_1$-state $b_1(1235)$-meson by using the QCD sum rules under the background field theory. Considering the contributions from the vacuum condensates up to dimension-six, its first two non-zero $ξ$-moments at the scale 1 GeV are $\langleξ_{2;b_1}^{1;\|}\rangle= -0.647^{+0.118}_{-0.113}$ and $\langleξ_{2;b_1}^{3;\|}\rangle = -0.328^{+0.055}_{-0.052}$, respectively. Using those moments, we then fix the Gegenbauer expansion series of $ϕ_{2;b_1}^{\|}$ and apply it to calculate $B\to b_1(1235)$ transition form factors (TFFs) that are derived by using the QCD light-cone sum rules. Those TFFs are then extrapolated to the physically allowable $q^2$-range via the simplified series expansion. As for the branching fractions, we obtain ${\cal B}(\bar B^0 \to b_1^+(1235)e^- \barν_e) = 2.179^{+0.553}_{-0.422}\times 10^{-4}$, ${\cal B}(B^0 \to b_1^-(1235)μ^+ν_μ) = 2.166^{+0.544}_{-0.415}\times 10^{-4}$, ${\cal B}(B^+ \to b_1^0(1235)e^+ν_e) = 2.353^{+0.597}_{-0.456}\times 10^{-4}$, and ${\cal B}(B^+ \to b_1^0(1235)μ^+ν_μ) = 2.339^{+0.587}_{-0.448}\times 10^{-4}$, respectively.

Scale-invariant total decay width $Γ(H\to b\bar{b})$ using the novel method of characteristic operator

In this paper, a novel method via using the characteristic operator~(CO) ${\cal \hat{D}}_{n_γ, n_β}$ is proposed to extend the applicability of PMC, which is a theoretical generalization of previous PMC single-scale setting approach. Using the CO formulism, we are able to facilitate the derivation of complex scenarios within a structured theoretical framework, leading to simpler procedures and more compact expressions. The CO framework not only streamlines derivations for complex scenarios, yielding simplified procedures and more compact expressions, but also achieves a scheme-and-scale invariant pQCD series by fixing the correct effective magnitude of $α_s$ and the running mass simultaneously. Both are well matched with the expansion coefficients of the series, leading to the wanted scheme-and-scale invariant conformal series. As an example, we show the achievement of scale-invariant N$^{4}$LO total decay width $Γ(H\to b\bar{b})$ under the $\overline{\rm MS}$-scheme. Using the CO framework, its effective coupling $α_{s}(Q_{*})$ and effective $b$-quark $\overline{\rm MS}$-mass $\overline{m}_{b}(Q_{*})$ are determined by absorbing all non-conformal $\{β_{i}\}$-terms from the renormalization group equations for either $α_s$ or $\overline{m}_{b}$ simultaneously. The PMC scale is fixed up to N$^3$LL-accuracy, $Q_{*} = 55.2916$~GeV and a scale-invariant total decay width is obtained, $Γ(H \to b\bar{b}) = 2.3819 _{-0.0231}^{+0.0230}$~MeV, whose errors are squared averages of the ones associated with $Δα_{s}(M_{Z}) = \pm 0.0009$, $ΔM_{H} = 0.11$~GeV, $Δ\overline{m}_{b}(\overline{m}_{b}) = \pm 0.007$~GeV, and the uncalculated N$^{5}$LO contributions $ΔΓ= \pm0.0001$~MeV predicted via Bayesian analysis with the degree-of-belief ${\rm DoB}=95.5\%$.

The Principle of Maximum Conformality Correctly Resolves the Renormalization-Scheme-Dependence Problem

In this paper, we clarify a serious misinterpretation and consequent misuse of the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC), which also can be served as a mini review of PMC. We emphasize that the purpose of the PMC is to achieve precise fixed-order pQCD predictions, free from conventional renormalization scheme and scale ambiguities. We demonstrate that the PMC predictions satisfy all of the self-consistency conditions of the renormalization group and standard renormalization-group invariance; the PMC predictions are thus independent of any initial choice of renormalization scheme and scale. The scheme independence of the PMC is also ensured by commensurate scale relations which relate different observables to each other. Moreover, in the Abelian limit, the PMC dovetails into the well-known Gell-Mann--Low framework, a method universally revered for its precision in QED calculations. Due to the elimination of factorially-divergent renormalon terms, the PMC series not only attains a convergence behavior far superior to that of its conventional counterparts but also deftly curtails any residual scale dependence caused by the unknown higher-order terms. This refined convergence, coupled with its robust suppression of residual uncertainties, furnishes a sound and reliable foundation for estimating the contributions from unknown higher-order terms. Anchored in the bedrock of standard renormalization group invariance, the PMC simultaneously eradicates the factorial divergences and eliminates superfluous systematic errors, which inversely provides a good foundation for achieving high-precision pQCD predictions. Consequently, owing to its rigorous theoretical underpinnings, the PMC is eminently applicable to virtually all high-energy hadronic processes.

Production of doubly heavy baryon at the Muon-Ion Collider

This study forecasts the production of doubly heavy baryons, $Ξ_{cc}$, $Ξ_{bc}$, and $Ξ_{bb}$, within the nonrelativistic QCD framework at the Muon-Ion Collider (MuIC). It examines two production mechanisms: photon-gluon fusion ($γ+ g \to (QQ')[n] +\bar{Q} +\bar{Q'}$) and extrinsic heavy quark channels ($γ+ Q \to (QQ')[n] + \bar{Q'}$), where $Q$ and $Q'$ denote heavy quarks ($c$ or $b$) and $(QQ')[n]$ represents a diquark in specific spin-color configurations. The diquark fragments into $Ξ_{QQ'}$ baryons with high probability. For $Ξ_{cc}$ and $Ξ_{bb}$, the relevant configurations are $[^1S_0]_{\textbf{6}}$ (spin-singlet and color-sextuplet) and $[^3S_1]_{\bar{\textbf{3}}}$ (spin-triplet and color-antitriplet). For $Ξ_{bc}$, the configurations are $[^1S_0]_{\bar{\textbf{3}}}$, $[^1S_0]_{\textbf{6}}$, $[^3S_1]_{\bar{\textbf{3}}}$, and $[^3S_1]_{\textbf{6}}$. The study compares total and differential cross-sections for these channels, highlighting their uncertainties. The results indicate that the extrinsic heavy quark channel, particularly the $[^3S_1]_{\bar{\textbf{3}}}$ configuration, dominates $Ξ_{QQ'}$ production, though other diquark states also contribute significantly. Using quark masses $m_c = 1.80 \pm 0.10$ GeV and $m_b = 5.1 \pm 0.20$ GeV, the study estimates annual event yields at MuIC ($\sqrt{s} = 1$ TeV, luminosity ${\mathcal L}\simeq 40$ ${\rm fb}^{-1}$) of $(3.67^{+1.29}_{-0.91}) \times 10^9$ for $Ξ_{cc}$, $(2.24^{+0.28}_{-0.20}) \times 10^8$ for $Ξ_{bc}$, and $(3.00^{+0.64}_{-0.56}) \times 10^6$ for $Ξ_{bb}$. These findings suggest that MuIC will significantly enhance our understanding of doubly heavy baryons.

Determination of $α_s(M_Z)$ via a high-precision effective coupling $α^{g_1}_s(Q)$

We propose a novel method to determine the strong coupling of quantum chromodynamics (QCD) and fix its running behavior at all scales by using the Bjorken sum rules (BSR). The BSR defines an effective coupling $α^{g_1}_s(Q)$ which includes the nonperturbative high-twist corrections and perturbative QCD (pQCD) corrections to the leading-twist part. For the leading-twist part of $α^{g_1}_s(Q)$, we adopt the infinite-order scale-setting procedure of the principle of maximum conformality ($\rm{PMC}_\infty$) to deal with its pQCD corrections, which reveals the intrinsic conformality of series and eliminates conventional renormalization scheme-and-scale ambiguities. Using the $\rm{PMC}_\infty$ approach, we not only eliminate \textit{the first kind of residual scale dependence} due to uncalculated higher-order terms, but also resolve the previous ``self-consistence problem". The holographic light-front QCD model is used for $α^{g_1}_s(Q)$ in the infrared region, which also reveals a conformal behavior at $Q\to 0$. As a combination, we obtain a precise $α^{g_1}_s(Q)$ at all scales, which matches well with the known experimental data with $p$-value $\sim99\%$, we determine the strong coupling constant at the critical scale $M_Z$, $α_s(M_Z)=0.1191\pm{0.0012}\mp0.0006$, where the first error comes from $Δκ$ of LFHQCD model and the second error is from \textit{the second kind of residual scale dependence} that is negligible.

QCD corrections of $e^+e^- \to J/ψ+c+\bar{c}$ using the principle of maximum conformality

In this paper, we compute the total and differential cross sections for $e^+e^- \to J/ψ+c+\bar{c}$ at the $B$ factories up to next-to-leading order (NLO) corrections within the framework of nonrelativistic QCD factorization theory. We then obtain improved pQCD series of those cross sections by using the Principle of Maximum Conformality (PMC). We show that the PMC can be applied for any pQCD calculable observable at the total and differential levels via a self-consistent way in perturbation theory. We observe that a more precise prompt total cross section at the NLO level can be achieved after applying the PMC, e.g. $σ|_{\rm prompt}^{\rm PMC}= 0.565^{+0.144}_{-0.125}~\text{pb}$. Here the uncertainty is the squared average of those from the $α_s$ fixed-point uncertainty $Δα_s(M_Z)$, the uncertainty of charm quark mass $Δm_c$, and an estimated contribution of the uncalculated NNLO-terms as predicted by the Padé approximation approach. The differential cross sections $dσ/dP_{J/ψ}$, $dσ/d|\cos θ|$, and $dσ/dz$ for $e^+e^- \to J/ψ+c+\bar{c}$ are further examined. Those results show that by further considering the feed-down contributions, the PMC predictions show better agreement with the Belle measurements.

The rare decay $B^+ \to K^+\ell^+\ell^-(ν\barν)$ under the QCD sum rules approach

In the paper, we conduct a detailed investigation of the rare decay processes of charged meson, specifically $B^+ \to K^+\ell^+\ell^-$ with $\ell=(e,μ,τ)$ and $B^+ \to K^+ν\barν$. These processes involve flavor-changing-neutral-current (FCNC) transitions, namely $b\to s\ell^+\ell^-$ and $b\to sν\barν$. The essential components $B\to K$ scalar, vector and tensor transition form factors (TFFs) are calculated by using the QCD light-cone sum rules approach up to next-to-leading order QCD corrections. In which, the kaon twist-2 and twist-3 light-cone distribution amplitudes are calculated from both the QCD sum rules within the framework of background field theory and the light-cone harmonic oscillator model. The TFFs at large recoil point are $f_+^{BK}(0)=f_0^{BK}(0) =0.328_{-0.028}^{+0.032}$ and $f_{\rm T}^{BK}(0)=0.277_{-0.024}^{+0.028}$, respectively. To achieve the behavior of those TFFs in the whole $q^2$-region, we extrapolate them by utilizing the simplified $z(q^2)$-series expansion. Furthermore, we compute the differential branching fractions with respect to the squared dilepton invariant mass for the two different decay channels and present the corresponding curves. Our predictions of total branching fraction are ${\cal B}(B^+\to K^+ e^+ e^-)=6.633_{-1.070}^{+1.341}\times 10^{-7}$, ${\cal B}(B^+\to K^+ μ^+ μ^-)=6.620_{-1.056}^{+1.323}\times 10^{-7}$, ${\cal B}(B^+\to K^+ τ^+ τ^-)=1.760_{-0.197}^{+0.241}\times 10^{-7}$, and ${\cal B}(B^+\to K^+ ν\barν)=4.135_{-0.655}^{+0.820}\times 10^{-6}$, respectively. Lastly, the observables such as the lepton universality $\mathcal{R}_{K}$ and the angular distribution `flat term' $F_{\rm H}^\ell$ are given, which show good agreement with the theoretical and experimental predictions.

Precise determination of the bottom-quark on-shell mass using its four-loop relation to the $\overline{\rm MS}$-scheme running mass

In this paper, we explore the properties of the bottom-quark on-shell mass ($M_b$) by using its relation to the $\overline{\rm MS}$ mass (${\overline m}_b$). At present, this $\overline{\rm MS}$-on-shell relation has been known up to four-loop QCD corrections, which however still has a $\sim 2\%$ scale uncertainty by taking the renormalization scale as ${\overline m}_b({\overline m}_b)$ and varying it within the usual range of $[{\overline m}_b({\overline m}_b)/2, 2 {\overline m}_b({\overline m}_b)]$. The principle of maximum conformality (PMC) has been adopted to achieve a more precise $\overline{\rm MS}$-on-shell relation by eliminating such scale uncertainty. As a step forward, we also estimate the magnitude of the uncalculated higher-order terms by using the Padé approximation approach. Numerically, by using the $\overline{\rm MS}$ mass ${\overline m}_b({\overline m}_b)=4.183\pm0.007$ GeV as an input, our predicted value for the bottom-quark on-shell mass becomes $M_b\simeq 5.372^{+0.091}_{-0.075}$ GeV, where the uncertainty is the squared average of the ones caused by $Δα_s(M_Z)$, $Δ{\overline m}_b({\overline m}_b)$, and the estimated magnitude of the higher-order terms.

Neutralino dark matter in the extension of MSSM with two triplets and singlet

In an extension of MSSM with two triplets and a singlet, called the TNMSSM, there are seven neutralinos which can enrich the study of cold dark matter if one expects that the weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) is responsible for the observation of Planck satellite. Such a model, compared to the MSSM, can naturally offer a solution to the $μ$ problem, and its lightest neutralino, which is bino-like, can also provide a correct relic density by using the coannihilation mechanism due to the newly added triplinos. Taking into account the related experimental measurements, such as the bound on the SM-like Higgs mass, the $B$ meson rare decays, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon $a_μ$, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) measurements and the latest dark matter direct detection experiment LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ), the TNMSSM parameter space can be strictly limited. In respect to all the constraints mentioned above, we find that a bino-like neutralino with a mass in the region $[100, 450]~\rm{GeV}$ can successfully account for the correct dark matter relic density. Additionally, most of the viable parameter space can be tested in the near future experiments such as the Xenon-nT experiment or LHC.

Quasi-two-body decays $B\to P f_0(500)\to Pπ^+π^-$ in the perturbative QCD approach

In this paper, we study the quasi-two-body decays $B\to P f_0(500)\to Pπ^+π^-$ [with $P=(π, K, η, η^{\prime})$] within framework of perturbative QCD (PQCD) factorization approach. With the help of $π$-$π$ distribution amplitude and scalar form factor $F_{ππ}(ω^2)$, we calculate the $CP$ averaged branching fraction and the $CP$ asymmetry for the quasi-two-body decays $B\to P f_0(500)\to Pπ^+π^-$. Taking the quasi-two-body decay $B^+ \to π^+ f_0(500) \to π^+ π^+ π^-$ as an explicit example, we present the behavior of differential branching fraction and direct $CP$ violation versus the $π$-$π$ invariant mass. The total branching fraction and direct $CP$ violation are $\mathcal{B}(B^+\to π^+ [σ\to]π^+π^-) = (1.78 \pm 0.41\pm 0.51) \times 10^{-6}$ and $\mathcal{A}_{CP}(B^+\to π^+ [σ\to]π^+π^-) = (29.8\pm 11.1\pm 13.0)\%$ respectively. Our results could be tested by further experiments.

Improved analysis of the decay width of $t\to Wb$ up to N$^{3}$LO QCD corrections

In this paper, we analyze the top-quark decay $t\to Wb$ up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N$^{3}$LO) QCD corrections. For the purpose, we first adopt the principle of maximum conformality (PMC) to deal with the initial pQCD series. Then we adopt the Bayesian analysis approach, which quantifies the unknown higher-order terms' contributions in terms of a probability distribution, to estimate the possible magnitude of the uncalculated N$^{4}$LO-terms. In our calculation, an effective strong coupling constant $α_{s}(Q_{*})$ is determined by using all non-conformal $\{β_{i}\}$ terms associated with the renormalization group equation. This leads to a next-to-leading-log PMC scale $Q_{*}^{(\rm NLL)}=10.3048$ GeV, which can be regarded as the correct momentum flow of the process. Consequently, we obtain an improved scale-invariant pQCD prediction for the top-quark decay width, e.g. $Γ_{t}^{\rm tot} = 1.3120 \pm 0.0038$ GeV, whose error is the squared average of the uncertainties from the decay width of $W$-boson $ΔΓ_{W} = \pm 0.042$ GeV, the coupling constant $Δα_{s}(m_{Z}) = \pm 0.0009$, and the predicted N$^{4}$LO-terms. The magnitude of the top-quark pole mass greatly affects the total decay width. By further taking the PDG top-quark pole mass error from cross-section measurements into consideration, e.g. $Δm_{t} = \pm 0.7$ GeV, we obtain $Γ_{t}^{\rm tot} = 1.3120 ^{+0.0194}_{-0.0192}$ GeV.

Searching for $|V_{cd}|$ through the exclusive decay $D_s^+ \to K^0e^+ν_e$ within QCD Sum Rules

In this paper, we carry out an investigation into the semileptonic decays $D_s^+ \to K^0\ell^+ν_\ell$ with $\ell=(e,μ)$ by employing the QCD light-cone sum rules approach. The vector transition form factor (TFF) $f_+^{D_s^+ K^0}(q^2)$ for $D_s^+\to K^0$ decay is calculated while considering its next-to-leading order contribution. Subsequently, we briefly introduce the twist-2, 3 kaon distribution amplitudes, which are calculated by using QCD sum rules within the framework of the background field theory. At the large recoil point, the TFF has $f_+^{D_s^+ K^0}(0)=0.692_{-0.026}^{+0.027}$. Then, we extrapolate $f_+^{D_s^+ K^0}(q^2)$ to the whole physical $q^2$-region via the simplified $z(q^2,t)$-series expansion, and the behavior of TFF $f_+^{D_s^+ K^0}(q^2)$ is exhibited in the numerical results part, including the theoretical and experimental predictions for comparison. In addition, we compute the differential branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to K^0\ell^+ν_\ell)$ with the electron and muon channels, which are expected to be $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to K^0e^+ν_e)=3.379_{-0.275}^{+0.301}\times 10^{-3}$ and $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to K^0μ^+ν_μ)=3.351_{-0.273}^{+0.299}\times 10^{-3}$ as well as contained other results for comparison. Our results show good agreement with the BESIII measurements and theoretical predictions. Furthermore, we present our prediction with respect to the CKM matrix element $|V_{cd}|$ by using the $\mathcal{B}(D_s^+ \to K^0e^+ν_e)$ result from BESIII Collaboration, yielding $|V_{cd}|=0.221_{-0.010}^{+0.008}$. Finally, we provide the ratio between $D_s^+ \to K^0e^+ν_e$ and $D_s^+ \to ηe^+ν_e$ channels, i.e. $\mathcal{R}_{K^0/η}^e=0.144_{-0.020}^{+0.028}$.

On the possibility of mixed axion/neutralino dark matter in specific SUSY DFSZ axion models

We introduce four supersymmetric (SUSY) axion models in which the strong CP problem and the $μ$ problem are solved with the help of the Peccei-Quinn mechanism and the Kim-Nilles mechanism, respectively. The axion physics enriches the SUSY model by introducing axion as a dark matter candidate and, therefore, the lightest supersymmetric particle (LSP) could just be a part of the total dark matter. For this reason, axion relieves the tensions between SUSY models and numerous experimental measurements, such as the dark matter direct detection experiments and the precise measurements of anomalous magnetic moment of the muon $a_μ$. In the present paper, we investigate the constraints imposed by the latest $a_μ$ measurements and LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ) experiment on the relic density of the Higgsino-like LSP. Additionally, we consider the constraints arising from the cosmology of saxions and axinos, and their impacts on the parameter space of our models are carefully examined. For the axion constituting the remaining portion of dark matter, we find that the conventional misalignment mechanism can successfully account for the correct dark matter relic density observed by the Planck satellite.

Reanalysis of the top-quark pair production via the $e^+ e^-$ annihilation near the threshold region up to N$^3$LO QCD corrections

In this paper, we present an improved analysis of the top-quark pair production via the process $e^{+}e^{-}\to γ^{*}\to t\bar{t}$ near the threshold region up to next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order (N$^3$LO) QCD corrections. Near the threshold region, the top-quark velocity $v$ tends to zero, leading to Coulomb singularity. To achieve a reasonable prediction in the threshold region, we reconstruct the analytical expression for the Coulomb-terms up to N$^{3}$LO accuracy by using the PSLQ algorithm, whose numerical values agree well with the previous N$^3$LO-level calculations. It is found that the N$^{3}$LO series still has sizable renormalization scale dependence, and to improve the precision of the series, we apply the Principle of Maximum Conformality to eliminate such scale dependence. After that, the Coulomb part is resummed into a Sommerfeld-Gamow-Sakharov factor, which finally leads to a much more reasonable behavior near the threshold region.
