DYNA-PRUNER: Input-Adaptive Data-Model Co-Pruning for Efficient and Scalable Spatio-Temporal Media Prediction

Spatio-temporal prediction supports radar/satellite nowcasting and city-scale traffic monitoring, but modern models are often too expensive for real-time deployment. This stems from a mismatch between dense computation and strong input-dependent redundancy (e.g., calm seas or clear skies). To enable automated, resource-aware architecture optimization in scalable media analysis, we propose Dyna-Pruner, an end-to-end framework for input-dependent co-pruning of data and model structure. A shared-importance synchronization mechanism generates coupled masks that prune redundant regions and their corresponding computational units (e.g., convolutional filters), yielding per-sample sparse sub-networks at inference time. Experiments on WeatherBench, SEVIR, and TaxiBJ show seamless integration with CNN, RNN, and Transformer backbones, reducing FLOPs by up to $70\%$ and achieving a $2.5\times$ speedup on NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin with negligible accuracy loss ($<1\%$).

Text-to-Image Generation for Projector-Camera System Registration

Establishing correspondence between projector and camera images in a procam (projector + camera) system is essential for achieving high-resolution pixel matching, referred to as procam registration. The highest accuracy is typically obtained using structured light patterns (e.g., stripes or blobs). However, these methods are often inefficient and lack meaningful information for human viewers. Although some have explored the use of natural images, these often fail to provide a sufficient distribution of features to achieve comparable accuracy. Additionally, existing methods struggle to cope with environmental factors such as surface textures and variations in brightness due to ambient light or changes in camera exposure. To address these limitations, we propose a method based on deep neural networks. Our approach aims to generate a single natural image from text-based prompts that not only appears realistic but also possesses rich spatial features to enhance registration accuracy in procam applications. We have developed a deep neural network trained on a synthesized dataset that simulates potential geometric and photometric distortions encountered in a procam system illuminating a relatively smooth object (see Figure 1). Our trained network predicts the correspondence between projector and camera images, significantly improving registration accuracy across various procam configurations. By jointly considering the naturalness and feature richness of the projector images, our method minimizes visual disruptions in projected content without sacrificing precision. A user study confirms that our technique enhances perceived naturalness and usability compared to existing methods, validating its practical utility in real-world applications.

AI Trading's Alpha Singularity: Emergent Market Reasoning through Agent-to-Agent Self-Evolution

Automated alpha mining holds the scoring function fixed and varies the search algorithm over it. A search that converges against a fixed scorer overfits whatever the scorer cannot penalize, a primary cause of the out-of-sample generalization gap. We treat the scoring function as a search artifact alongside the alpha factors and study what conditions make this joint search admissible. Sealed Joint Search (SJS) is a framework: a set of structural conditions on information flow in an autonomous-discovery system that prevent joint search from collapsing into self-confirmation while keeping the evaluator sealed. Conditions cover role decomposition, typed inter-role communication, provenance-sealed reads, versioned stores, and substrate-local promotion. Agora tests SJS empirically: five LLM agent classes communicate via three channels, evolving eight skill libraries, with alpha libraries built on AlphaGen operators. Three evaluators write reports aggregated into one brief, carrying forward disagreement instead of voting. We run Agora for 100 rounds on CSI 1000 and evaluate on a 91-day 2026 holdout sealed from all LLM inputs. Agora achieves holdout Sharpe +1.87; best baseline +1.334 at favorable seed and -0.755 cross-seed mean. Pre-loading Agora's two metrics into a frozen-library ablation recovers only +0.40 of the +2.25 Sharpe gap, and adding PPO without library evolution worsens the gap. The two metrics emerge rather than being designed. Caveats: single-seed run, short-side concentrated signal, intended for long-short.

Physically-guided Image Generation for Multi-Projection Mapping

Projection Mapping (PM) enables seamless superimposition of digital content onto real-world 3D objects, serving as a fundamental technique for immersive visualization, digital twins, and interactive art. Although text-to-image diffusion models have greatly facilitated customized content creation, directly integrating them into practical PM pipelines remains challenging due to the mismatch between idealized 2D generation and physical constraints. To bridge this gap, this paper formalizes two application-level generative paradigms: the cooperative paradigm (harmonizing generated semantics with physical attributes) and the adversarial paradigm (eliminating surface interference via radiometric compensation). Based on this, we propose ConPhyG, a unified controllable physically-guided generative multi-projection mapping framework that enables creators to interactively adjust physical constraints and flexibly switch generative paradigms. In cooperative mode, multi-dimensional physical priors (per-pixel gamut, depth, and edges) are injected into the diffusion process. In adversarial mode, the framework releases the generative potential and applies bounded numerical optimization for multi-projector radiometric compensation. It allows users to dynamically switch constraints to balance artistic freedom with physical feasibility. Furthermore, we extend ConPhyG to 360-degree multi-view consistent PM using a sequential generation strategy. Quantitative and qualitative evaluations on a real-world four-projector setup demonstrate that ConPhyG significantly outperforms state-of-the-art methods in geometric alignment, gamut utilization, and semantic fidelity.

Mosaic: Data-Free Knowledge Distillation via Mixture-of-Experts for Heterogeneous Distributed Environments

Federated Learning (FL) is a decentralized machine learning paradigm that enables clients to collaboratively train models while preserving data privacy. However, the coexistence of model and data heterogeneity gives rise to inconsistent representations and divergent optimization dynamics across clients, ultimately hindering robust global performance. To transcend these challenges, we propose Mosaic, a novel data-free knowledge distillation framework tailored for heterogeneous distributed environments. Mosaic first trains local generative models to approximate each client's personalized distribution, enabling synthetic data generation that safeguards privacy through strict separation from real data. Subsequently, Mosaic forms a Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) from client models based on their specialized knowledge, and distills it into a global model using the generated data. To further enhance the MoE architecture, Mosaic integrates expert predictions via a lightweight meta model trained on a few representative prototypes. Extensive experiments on standard image and multimodal benchmarks demonstrate that Mosaic consistently outperforms state-of-the-art approaches under both model and data heterogeneity. The source code has been published at https://github.com/Wings-Of-Disaster/Mosaic.

PandaAI: A Practical Agent CQ2 for Neuro-symbolic Data Analysis And Integrated Decision-Making in Quantitative Finance

While deep learning has excelled in various domains, its application to sequential decision-making in finance remains challenging due to the low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and non-stationarity of financial data. Leveraging the reasoning capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs), we propose \textbf{PandaAI}, a closed-loop neuro-symbolic LLM agent with market regime modeling and constrained alpha generation, which bridges general LLM reasoning with financial rigor and suppresses the financial toxicity of LLM-generated outputs. To bridge the gap between general linguistic capability and financial rigor, we fine-tune a domain-specific LLM. Furthermore, we integrate this LLM into a modular architecture and form a closed-loop system. Unlike traditional models that optimize isolated prediction metrics, \textbf{PandaAI} is designed as a neuro-symbolic agent that navigates the complex, real-world financial environment with explicit risk awareness. Extensive experiments on CSI 300 stock data show that \textbf{PandaAI} achieves a $18.2\%$ higher Rank IC and $25.7\%$ lower maximum drawdown than state-of-the-art time-series models. Our constrained LLM generation and dual-channel adaptation method provide a general paradigm for LLM deployment in high-stakes sequential decision-making scenarios.

Fast-SAM3D: 3Dfy Anything in Images but Faster

SAM3D enables scalable, open-world 3D reconstruction from complex scenes, yet its deployment is hindered by prohibitive inference latency. In this work, we conduct the \textbf{first systematic investigation} into its inference dynamics, revealing that generic acceleration strategies are brittle in this context. We demonstrate that these failures stem from neglecting the pipeline's inherent multi-level \textbf{heterogeneity}: the kinematic distinctiveness between shape and layout, the intrinsic sparsity of texture refinement, and the spectral variance across geometries. To address this, we present \textbf{Fast-SAM3D}, a training-free framework that dynamically aligns computation with instantaneous generation complexity. Our approach integrates three heterogeneity-aware mechanisms: (1) \textit{Modality-Aware Step Caching} to decouple structural evolution from sensitive layout updates; (2) \textit{Joint Spatiotemporal Token Carving} to concentrate refinement on high-entropy regions; and (3) \textit{Spectral-Aware Token Aggregation} to adapt decoding resolution. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Fast-SAM3D delivers up to \textbf{2.67$\times$} end-to-end speedup with negligible fidelity loss, establishing a new Pareto frontier for efficient single-view 3D generation. WorldCache: Accelerating World Models for Free via Heterogeneous Token Caching

Diffusion-based world models have shown strong potential for unified world simulation, but the iterative denoising remains too costly for interactive use and long-horizon rollouts. While feature caching can accelerate inference without training, we find that policies designed for single-modal diffusion transfer poorly to world models due to two world-model-specific obstacles: \emph{token heterogeneity} from multi-modal coupling and spatial variation, and \emph{non-uniform temporal dynamics} where a small set of hard tokens drives error growth, making uniform skipping either unstable or overly conservative. We propose \textbf{WorldCache}, a caching framework tailored to diffusion world models. We introduce \textit{Curvature-guided Heterogeneous Token Prediction}, which uses a physics-grounded curvature score to estimate token predictability and applies a Hermite-guided damped predictor for chaotic tokens with abrupt direction changes. We also design \textit{Chaotic-prioritized Adaptive Skipping}, which accumulates a curvature-normalized, dimensionless drift signal and recomputes only when bottleneck tokens begin to drift. Experiments on diffusion world models show that WorldCache delivers up to \textbf{3.7$\times$} end-to-end speedups while maintaining \textbf{98\%} rollout quality, demonstrating the vast advantages and practicality of WorldCache in resource-constrained scenarios. Our code is released in https://github.com/FofGofx/WorldCache.

Echo-Forcing: A Scene Memory Framework for Interactive Long Video Generation

Autoregressive video diffusion models enable open-ended generation through local attention and KV caching. However, existing training-free long-video optimization methods mainly focus on stable extension under a single prompt, making them difficult to handle interactive scenarios involving prompt switching, old scene forgetting, and historical scene recall. We identify the core bottleneck as the functional entanglement of historical KV states: stable anchors and recent dynamics are handled by the same cache policy, leading to outdated background contamination, delayed response to new prompts, and loss of long-range memory. To address this issue, we propose Echo-Forcing, a training-free scene memory framework specifically designed for interactive long video generation with three core mechanisms: (1) Hierarchical Temporal Memory, which decouples stable anchors, compressed history, and recent windows under relative RoPE; (2) Scene Recall Frames, which compresses historical scenes into spatially structured KV representations to support long-term recall; and (3) Difference-aware Memory Decay, which adaptively forgets conflicting tokens according to the discrepancy between old and new scenes. Based on these designs, Echo-Forcing uniformly supports smooth transitions, hard cuts, and long-range scene recall under a bounded cache budget. Extensive evaluations on VBench-Long further demonstrate that Echo-Forcing achieves the best overall performance in both long-video generation and interactive video generation settings. Our code is released in https://github.com/mingqiangWu/Echo-Forcing

MUJICA: Multi-skill Unified Joint Integration of Control Architecture for Wheeled-Legged Robots

Wheeled-legged robots hold promise for traversing complex terrains and offer superior mobility compared to legged robots. However, wheeled-legged robots must effectively balance both wheeled driving and legged control. Furthermore, due to noisy proprioceptive sensing and real-world motor constraints, realizing robust and adaptive locomotion at peak performance of motors remains challenging. We propose the Multi-skill Unified Joint Integration of Control Architecture (MUJICA), a unified, fully proprioceptive control framework for wheeled-legged robots that integrates diverse low-level skills-including omnidirectional moving, high platform climbing, and fall recovery-within a single policy. All skills, distinguished by unique indicator variables, are trained jointly with accurate DC-motor constraint modeling. Additionally, a high-level skill selector is learned to dynamically choose the optimal skill based solely on proprioceptions, enabling adaptive responses to the surrounding environment. Therefore, MUJICA enhances sim-to-real robustness and enables seamless transitions across diverse locomotion modes, facilitating autonomous adjustment to the environment. We validate our framework in both simulation and real-world experiments on the Unitree Go2-W robot, demonstrating significant improvements in adaptability and task success in unstructured environments.

GaitProtector: Impersonation-Driven Gait De-Identification via Training-Free Diffusion Latent Optimization

Conventional gait de-identification methods often encounter an inherent trade-off: they either provide insufficient identity suppression or introduce spatiotemporal distortions that impede structure-sensitive downstream applications. We propose GaitProtector, an impersonation-driven gait de-identification framework that formulates privacy protection as a unified objective with two tightly coupled components: (i) obfuscation, which repels the protected gait from the source identity, and (ii) impersonation, which attracts it toward a selected target identity. The target identity serves as a semantic anchor that biases optimization toward structurally plausible gait patterns under the pretrained diffusion prior, helping preserve dominant body shape and motion dynamics. We instantiate this idea through a training-free diffusion latent optimization pipeline. Instead of retraining a generator for each dataset, we invert each input silhouette sequence into the latent trajectory of a pretrained 3D video diffusion model and iteratively optimize latent codes with a differentiable adversarial objective to synthesize protected gaits. Experiments on the CASIA-B dataset show that GaitProtector achieves a 56.7% impersonation success rate under black-box gait recognition and reduces Rank-1 identification accuracy from 89.6% to 15.0%, while maintaining favorable visual and temporal quality. We further evaluate downstream utility on the Scoliosis1K dataset, where diagnostic accuracy decreases only from 91.4% to 74.2%. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the first to leverage pretrained 3D diffusion priors in a training-free manner for silhouette-based gait de-identification.

Federated Knowledge Distillation for Multi-Model Architectures Lithography Hotspot Detection

As a special type of multimedia data, Lithography Hotspot Detection (LHD) training often requires stronger privacy protection than conventional multimedia data, and federated learning provides a promising potential solution to this challenge. However, existing approaches rely solely on either parameter aggregation or Knowledge Distillation (KD), failing to fully exploit the potential of collaborative learning. To address this, we propose FedKD-hybrid, a novel framework that synergizes the strengths of both paradigms. Specifically, FedKD-hybrid utilizes a public dataset to facilitate consensus, where clients exchange both parameters of agreed-upon layers and logits. This hybrid information is aggregated to refine local models, enhancing knowledge transfer. Extensive experiments on ICCAD-2012 and real-world FAB datasets demonstrate that FedKD-hybrid consistently outperforms state-of-the-art methods in both effectiveness and robustness.

GaitKD: A Universal Decoupled Distillation Framework for Efficient Gait Recognition

Gait recognition is an attractive biometric modality for long-range and contact-free identification, but high-performing gait models often rely on deep and computationally expensive architectures that are difficult to deploy in practice. Knowledge distillation (KD) offers a natural way to transfer knowledge from a powerful teacher to an efficient student; however, standard KD is often less effective for part-structured gait models, where supervision is formed from both part-wise classification logits and part-wise retrieval embeddings. In this paper, we propose GaitKD, a distillation framework that decouples gait knowledge transfer into two complementary components: decision-level distillation and boundary-level distillation. Specifically, GaitKD aligns the teacher and student through part-calibrated logit distillation to transfer inter-class decision relations, while preserving the teacher-induced partitioning of the embedding space through an activation-boundary objective instead of direct feature regression. With a simple aligned part-wise design, GaitKD supports heterogeneous teacher-student gait models without introducing additional inference cost. Experimental results across multiple gait recognition benchmarks and teacher-student configurations show consistent improvements over strong gait baselines. Our study demonstrates that the two transfer components are complementary, and boundary-preserving distillation provides more stable performance than direct feature regression. COMPOSITE-Stem

AI agents hold growing promise for accelerating scientific discovery; yet, a lack of frontier evaluations hinders adoption into real workflows. Expert-written benchmarks have proven effective at measuring AI reasoning, but most at this stage have become saturated and only measure performance on constrained outputs. To help address this gap, we introduce COMPOSITE-STEM, a benchmark of 70 expert-written tasks in physics, biology, chemistry, and mathematics, curated by doctoral-level researchers. Our benchmark combines exact-match grading and criterion-based rubrics with an LLM-as-a-jury grading protocol, allowing more flexible assessment of scientifically meaningful outputs. Using an adapted multimodal Terminus-2 agent harness within the Harbor agentic evaluation framework, we evaluate four frontier models. The top-performing model achieves 21%, demonstrating that COMPOSITE-STEM captures capabilities beyond current agent reach. Hierarchical Memory Orchestration for Personalized Persistent Agents

While long-term memory is essential for intelligent agents to maintain consistent historical awareness, the accumulation of extensive interaction data often leads to performance bottlenecks. Naive storage expansion increases retrieval noise and computational latency, overwhelming the reasoning capacity of models deployed on constrained personal devices. To address this, we propose Hierarchical Memory Orchestration (HMO), a framework that organizes interaction history into a three-tiered directory driven by user-centric contextual relevance. Our system maintains a compact primary cache, coupling recent and pivotal memories with an evolving user profile to ensure agent reasoning remains aligned with individual behavioral traits. This primary cache is complemented by a high-priority secondary layer, both of which are managed within a global archive of the full interaction history. Crucially, the user persona dictates memory redistribution across this hierarchy, promoting records mapped to long-term patterns toward more active tiers while relegating less relevant information. This targeted orchestration surfaces historical knowledge precisely when needed while maintaining a lean and efficient active search space. Evaluations on multiple benchmarks achieve state-of-the-art performance. Real-world deployments in ecosystems like OpenClaw demonstrate that HMO significantly enhances agent fluidity and personalization.

KiRAS: Keyframe Guided Self-Imitation for Robust and Adaptive Skill Learning in Quadruped Robots

With advances in reinforcement learning and imitation learning, quadruped robots can acquire diverse skills within a single policy by imitating multiple skill-specific datasets. However, the lack of datasets on complex terrains limits the ability of such multi-skill policies to generalize effectively in unstructured environments. Inspired by animation, we adopt keyframes as minimal and universal skill representations, relaxing dataset constraints and enabling the integration of terrain adaptability with skill diversity. We propose Keyframe Guided Self-Imitation for Robust and Adaptive Skill Learning (KiRAS), an end-to-end framework for acquiring and transitioning between diverse skill primitives on complex terrains. KiRAS first learns diverse skills on flat terrain through keyframe-guided self-imitation, eliminating the need for expert datasets; then continues training the same policy network on rough terrains to enhance robustness. To eliminate catastrophic forgetting, a proficiency-based Skill Initialization Technique is introduced. Experiments on Solo-8 and Unitree Go1 robots show that KiRAS enables robust skill acquisition and smooth transitions across challenging terrains. This framework demonstrates its potential as a lightweight platform for multi-skill generation and dataset collection. It further enables flexible skill transitions that enhance locomotion on challenging terrains.
