Wronskian Solution for AdS/CFT Y-system

Using the discrete Hirota integrability we find the general solution of the full quantum Y-system for the spectrum of anomalous dimensions of operators in the planar AdS5/CFT4 correspondence in terms of Wronskian-like determinants parameterized by a finite number of Baxter's Q-functions. We consider it as a useful step towards the construction of a finite system of non-linear integral equations (FiNLIE) for the full spectrum. The explicit asymptotic form of all the Q-functions for the large size operators is presented. We establish the symmetries and the analyticity properties of the asymptotic Q-functions and discuss their possible generalization to any finite size operators.

PSU(2,2|4) Character of Quasiclassical AdS/CFT

We solve the recently proposed T- and Y-systems (Hirota equation) for the exact spectrum of AdS/CFT in the strong coupling scaling limit for an arbitrary quasiclassical string state. The corresponding T-functions appear to be super-characters of the SU(2,2|4) group in unitary representations with a highest weight, with the classical AdS5xS5 superstring monodromy matrix as the group element. We propose a concise first Weyl-type formula for these characters and show that they correctly reproduce the results of quasiclassical one-loop quantization in all sectors of the superstring, under some natural assumptions. We also speculate about possible relation between the T-functions and the quantum monodromy matrix.

Solutions of the T-system and Baxter equations for supersymmetric spin chains

We propose Wronskian-like determinant formulae for the Baxter Q-functions and the eigenvalues of transfer matrices for spin chains related to the quantum affine superalgebra U_{q}(hat{gl}(M|N)). In contrast to the supersymmetric Bazhanov-Reshetikhin formula (the quantum supersymmetric Jacobi-Trudi formula) proposed in [Z. Tsuboi, J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 30 (1997) 7975], the size of the matrices of these Wronskian-like formulae is less than or equal to M+N. Base on these formulae, we give new expressions of the solutions of the T-system (fusion relations for transfer matrices) for supersymmetric spin chains proposed in the abovementioned paper. Baxter equations also follow from the Wronskian-like formulae. They are finite order linear difference equations with respect to the Baxter Q-functions. Moreover, the Wronskian-like formulae also explicitly solve the functional relations for Backlund flows proposed in [V. Kazakov, A. Sorin, A. Zabrodin, Nucl. Phys. B790 (2008) 345 [arXiv:hep-th/0703147]].

T-system and thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations for solvable lattice models associated with superalgebras

An analytic Bethe ansatz is carried out related to the Lie superalgebra osp(1|2s). We present an eigenvalue formula of a transfer matrix in dressed vacuum form (DVF) labeled by a Young (super) diagram. Remarkable duality among DVFs is found. A complete set of transfer matrix functional relations (T-system) is proposed as a reduction of a Hirota-Miwa equation. We also derive a thermodynamic Bethe ansatz (TBA) equation from this T-system and the quantum transfer matrix method. This TBA equation is identical to the one from the string hypothesis.

Analytic Bethe ansatz and functional equations associated with any simple root systems of the Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1)

The Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1) admits several inequivalent choices of simple root systems. We have carried out analytic Bethe ansatz for any simple root systems of sl(r+1|s+1). We present transfer matrix eigenvalue formulae in dressed vacuum form, which are expressed as the Young supertableaux with some semistandard-like conditions. These formulae have determinant expressions, which can be viewed as quantum analogue of Jacobi-Trudi and Giambelli formulae for sl(r+1|s+1). We also propose a class of transfer matrix functional relations, which is specialization of Hirota bilinear difference equation. Using the particle-hole transformation, relations among the Bethe ansatz equations for various kinds of simple root systems are discussed.

Analytic Bethe ansatz related to the Lie superalgebra C(s)

An analytic Bethe ansatz is carried out related to the type 1 Lie superalgebra C(s). We present eigenvalue formulae of transfer matrices in dressed vacuum form (DVF) labeled by Young superdiagrams with one row or one column. We also propose an DVF related to a one parameter family of finite dimensional irreducible representations. A class of transfer matrix functional relations among these formulae is discussed.

Analytic Bethe ansatz and functional equations for Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1)

From the point of view of the Young superdiagrm method, an analytic Bethe ansatz is carried out for Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1). For the transfer matrix eigenvalue formulae in dressed vacuum form, we present some expressions, which are quantum analogue of Jacobi-Trudi and Giambelli formulae for Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1). We also propose transfer matrix functional relations, which are Hirota bilinear difference equation with some constraints.

Analytic Bethe ansatz related to a one parameter family of finite dimensional representations of the Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1)

As is well known, the type 1 Lie superalgebra sl(r+1|s+1) admits a one parameter family of finite dimensional irreducible representations. We have carried out an analytic Bethe ansatz related to this family of representations. We present formulae, which are deformations of previously proposed determinant formulae labeled by a Young superdiagram. These formulae will provide transfer matrix eigenvalues in dressed vacuum form related to the solutions of a graded Yang-Baxter equation, which depend not only on the spectral parameter but also on a non-additive continuous parameter. A class of transfer matrix functional relations among these formulae is briefly mentioned.

Analytic Bethe ansatz and functional relations related to tensor-like representations of type II Lie superalgebras B(r|s) and D(r|s)

An analytic Bethe ansatz is carried out related to tensor-like representations of the type II Lie superalgebras B(r|s)=osp(2r+1|2s) (r > -1, s >0) and D(r|s)=osp(2r|2s) (r >1, s >0). We present eigenvalue formulae of transfer matrices in dressed vacuum forms labeled by Young (super) diagrams. A class of transfer matrix functional relations (T-system) is discussed. In particular for B(0|s)=osp(1|2s)(s >0) case, a complete set of functional relations is proposed by using duality among dressed vacuum forms.

Difference L operators and a Casorati determinant solution to the T-system for twisted quantum affine algebras

We propose factorized difference operators L(u) associated with the twisted quantum affine algebras U_{q}(A^{(2)}_{2n}),U_{q}(A^{(2)}_{2n-1}), U_{q}(D^{(2)}_{n+1}),U_{q}(D^{(3)}_{4}). These operators are shown to be annihilated by a screening operator. Based on a basis of the solutions of the difference equation L(u)w(u)=0, we also construct a Casorati determinant solution to the T-system for U_{q}(A^{(2)}_{2n}),U_{q}(A^{(2)}_{2n-1}).

Baxter's Q-operators for supersymmetric spin chains

We develop Yang-Baxter integrability structures connected with the quantum affine superalgebra Uq(\hat sl(2|1)). Baxter's Q-operators are explicitly constructed as supertraces of certain monodromy matrices associated with (q-deformed) bosonic and fermionic oscillator algebras. There are six different Q-operators in this case, obeying a few fundamental fusion relations, which imply all functional relations between various commuting transfer matrices. The results are universal in the sense that they do not depend on the quantum space of states and apply both to lattice models and to continuous quantum field theory models as well.

A note on the high temperature expansion of the density matrix for the isotropic Heisenberg chain

Göhmann, Klümper and Seel derived the multiple integral formula of the density matrix of the $XXZ$ Heisenberg chain at finite temperatures. We have applied the high temperature expansion (HTE) method to isotropic case of their formula in a finite magnetic field and obtained coefficients for several short-range correlation functions. For example, we have succeeded to obtain the coefficients of the HTE of the 3rd neighbor correlation function $<σ_{j}^{z}σ_{j+3}^{z}>$ for zero magnetic field up to the order of 25. These results expand our previous results on the emptiness formation probability [Z.Tsuboi, M.Shiroishi, J. Phys.A: Math. Gen. 38(2005) L363; cond-mat/0502569] to more general correlation functions.

The extension to the transverse momentum of the statistical parton distributions

By extending the statistical distributions to the transverse degree of freedhom, we account for a multiplicative factor in the Fermi-Dirac functions of the light quarks, we were led to introduce in a previous work to comply with experiment. We can also get light antiquark distributions, similar to those we proposed earlier

Nonlinear Integral Equations and high temperature expansion for the $U_{q}(\hat{sl}(r+1|s+1))$ Perk-Schultz Model

We propose a system of nonlinear integral equations (NLIE) which gives the free energy of the $U_{q}(widehat{sl}(r+1|s+1))$ Perk-Schultz model. In contrast with traditional thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations, our NLIE contain only r+s+1 unknown functions. In deriving the NLIE, the quantum (supersymmetric) Jacobi-Trudi and Giambelli formula and a duality for an auxiliary function play important roles. By using our NLIE, we also calculate the high temperature expansion of the free energy. General formulae of the coefficients with respect to arbitrarily rank r+s+1, chemical potentials $\{μ_{a}\}$ and q have been written down in terms of characters up to the order of 5. In particular for specific values of the parameters, we have calculated the high temperature expansion of the specific heat up to the order of 40.

High temperature expansion of emptiness formation probability for isotropic Heisenberg chain

Recently, Göhmann, Klümper and Seel have derived novel integral formulas for the correlation functions of the spin-1/2 Heisenberg chain at finite temperature. We have found that the high temperature expansion (HTE) technique can be effectively applied to evaluate these integral formulas. Actually, as for the emptiness formation probability ${P(n)}$ of the isotropic Heisenberg chain, we have found a general formula of the HTE for ${P(n)}$ with arbitrary $n \in {\mathbb Z}_{\ge 2}$ up to ${O((J/T)^{4})}$. If we fix a magnetic field to a certain value, we can calculate the HTE to much higher order. For example, the order up to ${O((J/T)^{42})}$ has been achieved in the case of ${P(3)}$ when ${h=0}$. We have compared these HTE results with the data by Quantum Monte Carlo simulations. They exhibit excellent agreements.

Nonlinear Integral Equations for Thermodynamics of the U_{q}(\hat{sl(r+1)}) Perk-Schultz Model

We propose a system of nonlinear integral equations (NLIE) which describes the thermodynamics of the U_{q}(\hat{sl(r+1)}) Perk-Schultz model. These NLIE correspond to a trigonometric analogue of our previous result (cond-mat/0212280), and contain only r unknown functions. In particular, they reduce to Takahashi's NLIE for the XXZ spin chain (cond-mat/0010486) if r=1. We also calculate the high temperature expansion of the free energy. In particular for r=1 case, we have succeeded to derive the coefficients of order O((\frac{J}{T})^{99}).

From the quantum Jacobi-Trudi and Giambelli formula to a nonlinear integral equation for thermodynamics of the higher spin Heisenberg model

We propose a nonlinear integral equation (NLIE) with only one unknown function, which gives the free energy of the integrable one dimensional Heisenberg model with arbitrary spin. In deriving the NLIE, the quantum Jacobi-Trudi and Giambelli formula (Bazhanov-Reshetikhin formula), which gives the solution of the T-system, plays an important role. In addition, we also calculate the high temperature expansion of the specific heat and the magnetic susceptibility.
