OneModel: A Unified Foundation for Platform-Scale Multi-Scenario Ranking

Platform-scale recommender systems often span multiple business streams such as organic recommendation, advertising, and merchant services, where user behaviors form a continuous cross-stream trajectory. Maintaining separate ranking systems fragments user representations and increases engineering cost. We propose \textbf{OneModel}, a unified framework for multi-stream final ranking. OneModel maps heterogeneous behaviors into shared event sequences, learns long-context user representations with an action-oriented backbone, and introduces \emph{Scenario-aware Information Modulation} to balance cross-stream transfer and stream-specific specialization. For production deployment, OneModel further adopts stratified user representation, multi-objective training, and optimized online serving with feature decomposition, user feature prefetching, shared user-tower computation, and graph-level inference optimization. We deploy OneModel in production at \emph{Xiaohongshu}, where it delivers consistent offline gains over strong baselines and scales favorably with context length and model capacity. Online A/B tests improve Time Spent by \textbf{+0.33\%} and Engagement by \textbf{+1.25\%} in Explore Feed, lift advertising value by \textbf{+3.43\%} and CTR by \textbf{+8.18\%} in Feed Advertising, and raise DGMV by \textbf{+1.1867\%} and GPM by \textbf{+2.1585\%} in Merchant Recommendation, validating unified multi-stream ranking as an effective production foundation.

Nanoscale Imaging of Strain-Controlled Altermagnetic Domains in α-MnTe

Altermagnets combine compensated magnetic order with momentum-dependent spin splitting, offering a route to spintronic functionality without the stray fields of conventional ferromagnets. Mechanical strain provides a promising means of controlling their Néel order, yet the microscopic pathway by which strain reorganizes an altermagnetic texture remains unresolved. Here, we combine scanning nitrogen-vacancy magnetometry with a piezo-driven uniaxial strain cell to directly image the strain-driven evolution of magnetic domains in bulk α-MnTe at room temperature. By applying uniaxial stress along the nearest-neighbor Mn-Mn bond direction, we find that compressive strain reorganizes the magnetic texture through domain coalescence, increasing the size of the largest connected domain while reducing the domain-wall density. On sweeping toward tensile strain direction, however, the domain network follows a distinct trajectory from that observed during the compressive sweep. Instead, the large connected regions fragment into a new metastable configuration, producing pronounced hysteresis in the maximum domain size and stray-field distribution. These results identify domain connectivity and topology as key carriers of strain-induced magnetic memory. Our work reveals domain coalescence and hysteretic fragmentation as the microscopic pathway of strain control in α-MnTe and establishes a route toward strain-programmable altermagnetic textures and reconfigurable spintronic devices.

Spin nematic liquid crystal and scalar spin chirality in tetragonal lattice YbMnBi$_2$

A spin nematic order, analogous to the nematic liquid crystal, characterizes the spontaneous breaking of spin-space rotational symmetry while preserving time-reversal ($T$) symmetry. In contrast, scalar spin chirality (SSC), a composite three-spin order, breaks $T$ symmetry and is known to induce an anomalous Hall effect (AHE). Although a spin nematic phase has been suggested in frustrated magnets and the square-lattice iridate, how it might affect magnetotransport properties is unknown. Here we use polarized neutron scattering to show that tetragonal $A$MnBi$_2$ ($A$ = Ca, Yb) is a strictly $c$-axis-aligned collinear antiferromagnet (C-type), with $T_N \approx 270$ K and 290 K, respectively. On cooling from 450 K to $T_N$, low-energy spin excitations in YbMnBi$_2$ spontaneously change from isotropic to anisotropic in spin space within the tetragonal plane, forming a dynamic spin nematic phase around 400 K due to heavy Yb-induced spin-orbit coupling, before gapping out below $T_N$. Similar measurements on CaMnBi$_2$ reveal isotropic paramagnetic scattering without a spin nematic phase above $T_N$. Under an in-plane magnetic field, the Yb$^{3+}$ moments may interact with the dynamic spin nematic phase to induce nonzero SSC, giving rise to AHE and an anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) in YbMnBi$_2$ that are absent in CaMnBi$_2$ above $T_N$. A symmetry-based Ginzburg-Landau analysis shows that coupling terms between the nematic order and SSC are allowed under an external magnetic field, which could explain the rapid increase of AHE with field in YbMnBi$_2$. Our results provide compelling evidence for dynamic SSC-induced AHE and ANE in the paramagnetic phase of a compensated collinear antiferromagnet, opening a new avenue for the physics of composite spin orders and room-temperature spintronics without magnetic order.

PHY-Layer Modeling and Throughput-Driven Adaptation for Batteryless V2X Networks

Passive overlay communication for batteryless devices is an important enabling capability for next-generation vehicle-to-everything (V2X) networks. However, enabling reliable passive payload delivery without occupying additional spectrum remains challenging, since overlay signaling must be embedded into short and time-varying vehicular packets while preserving the decodability of the legacy host transmission. This paper investigates a packetized batteryless V2X overlay architecture in which a dedicated short-range communications (DSRC)-based packet simultaneously carries conventional V2X data and a passive overlay payload. A compact PHY-layer model is developed to characterize the coupled effects of attenuation depth, embedded-bit rate, and legacy modulation and coding scheme (MCS) on host-link and passive-link reliability, as well as packet-level embedding feasibility. We then formulate a sum-throughput maximization problem that jointly accounts for the legacy packet error rate and passive decoding error rate. We further propose a multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL)-based adaptive parameter-selection method. Simulation results show that the proposed MARL controller achieves stable convergence and improves the average throughput by 15\%, demonstrating the effectiveness of throughput-driven PHY adaptation for batteryless V2X overlay communications.

Data-Driven Batteryless Channel Sounding for Wi-Fi 8-Inspired Downlink MU-MIMO

Batteryless overlays couple passive throughput to Wi-Fi sounding overhead and channel state information (CSI) aging. This paper investigates channel sounding for ultra-high reliability (UHR) operation in a Wi-Fi 8/IEEE 802.11bn-inspired downlink multi-user multiple-input multiple-output (MU-MIMO) system with a batteryless passive overlay. We optimize the post-sounding transmission interval to maximize the aggregate throughput of the active Wi-Fi and passive links, while jointly accounting for sounding overhead, CSI aging, modulation and coding scheme (MCS), passive attenuation, and passive data rate. A packet-level cross-layer model evaluates the cycle-average throughput, and a data-driven search identifies the optimal interval under different operating conditions. Simulations demonstrate that passive overlay reshapes the conventional sounding tradeoff: depending on the MCS and passive-link configuration, the additional passive throughput may or may not compensate for the associated Wi-Fi reliability loss, causing the optimal interval to shift. The results provide design guidance for reliable and low-power MU-MIMO WLANs.

Tripling of the Superconducting Critical Current Density in BaFe$_2$(As$_{1-x}$P$_x$)$_2$ Retained After Pressure Release

Superconducting performance is tunable not only via chemical modification or defect engineering, but also through external parameters such as pressure, though this method remains less readily accessible. In this work, we study how compression influences vortex dynamics and critical currents in an iron-based superconductor. Specifically, we perform magnetization measurements using an off-the-shelf pressure cell to investigate the effects of hydrostatic pressures up to 1.08 GPa on the magnetic properties of BaFe$_2$(As$_{0.62}$P$_{0.38}$)$_2$ crystals across a range of temperatures $T$ and magnetic fields $H$. Although these pressures minimally affect the superconducting critical temperature, they produce a clear increase in the critical current density $J_c(T,H)$, a pronounced reduction in the rate of thermally activated vortex motion $S(T,H)$, and can change the dominant vortex pinning mechanism. Furthermore, the effects of pressure are irreversible: after pressurization and subsequent release at room temperature, high-density microcracks are observed and the crystals retain their enhanced critical current densities. The second magnetization peak vanishes above 18 K after the pressure cycle, which we attribute to a transition from predominantly $δκ$ pinning to a mixed mechanism of $δT_c$ and surface pinning. Lastly, a threefold increase in $J_c$, a more than 40\% reduction in $S$ at 8~K and 0.5~T, and an expanded elastic-creep region were achieved after $1-2$ pressure cycles. These findings demonstrate the potential utility of pressure cycling for improving $J_c$, which may offer a simpler alternative compared to approaches such as chemical doping or the introduction of artificial pinning centers.

Atomic-Scale Observation of Symmetry Breaking in Altermagnetic MnTe

The recent discovery of altermagnetism has sparked growing interest in compensated magnetic systems as promising platforms for highly scalable spintronics. Altermagnetism is a distinct magnetic order where opposite spin sublattices are connected by rotation, yielding zero net magnetization but momentum-dependent spin splitting. To date, experimental verification of altermagnetic order has been achieved predominantly through bulk-sensitive techniques, including spin-dependent electronic spectra and transport responses. However, direct atomic-scale evidence that explicitly correlates crystal symmetry, local structural distortions, and magnetic ordering has remained unexplored. Here, we report the direct atomic-scale observation of coexisting polar distortions and altermagnetic order in MnTe, combining atomic resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) imaging with electron magnetic chiral dichroism (EMCD) measurements. We reveal that MnTe is not an ideal uniform P63/mmc g-wave altermagnet at the atomic scale. Instead, it hosts ubiquitous inversion-symmetry-breaking distortions that lower the spin-space-group (SSG) symmetry, admits d-wave altermagnetic components, and in lower-symmetry regimes, even allow s-wave spin splitting (net magnetization). The coexistence of ferroelectric signatures and altermagnetic order establishes local lattice symmetry in MnTe as a control knob for altermagnetic spin splitting, spin current generation, and multiferroic memory applications.

Evidence for itinerant electron-local moment interaction in Li-doped $α$-MnTe

We use inelastic neutron scattering (INS) and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) to study the impact of Li doping on the semiconducting altermagnet $α$-MnTe. Introducing Li results in a spin reorientation from in-plane to out-of-plane direction and increases the density of itinerant carriers. While our ARPES measurements do not indicate any notable doping-induced changes in the electronic band structure or the magnitude of the altermagnetic band splitting, our INS measurements reveal an abrupt carrier-induced decrease in the spin wave lifetime near the zone boundary at high energies. This finding is consistent with a new magnon decay channel driven by doping-induced subtle changes in the band structure and enhanced interactions between Mn$^{2+}$ local moments and itinerant electrons. By extracting the local dynamic susceptibility from INS spectra and applying the total moment sum rule, we find that both undoped and Li-doped $α$-MnTe exhibit the full expected Mn$^{2+}$ local moment of $\approx5.9~μ_\mathrm{B}$ with $S=5/2$. These findings suggest that $α$-MnTe hosts robust local-moment altermagnetism which shows a breakdown at high energies upon addition of itinerant carriers, highlighting the importance of carrier-spin coupling in magneto-transport and spin dynamic properties of altermagnets even in the dilute-carrier limit.

RIS-Aided E2E Multi-Path Uplink Transmission Optimization for 6G Time-Sensitive Services

The Access Traffic Steering, Switching, and Splitting (ATSSS) defined in the latest 3GPP Release 19 enables traffic flow over the multiple access paths to achieve the lower-latency End-to-end (E2E) delivery for 6G time-sensitive services. However, the existing E2E multi-path operation often falls short of more stringent QoS requirements for 6G time-sensitive services. This work proposes a Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS)-aided E2E multi-path uplink (UL) transmission architecture that explicitly accounts for both radio link latency and N3 backhaul latency, via the coupled designs of the UL traffic-splitting ratio, transmit power, receive combining, and RIS phase shift under practical constraints to achieve the minimum average E2E latency. We develop an alternating optimization framework that updates the above target parameters to be optimized. The simulations were conducted to compare the effectiveness of the proposed E2E optimization framework that lowers the average E2E latency up to 43% for a single user and 32% for the whole system compared with baselines in our prior work [1].

TennisExpert: Towards Expert-Level Analytical Sports Video Understanding

Tennis is one of the most widely followed sports, generating extensive broadcast footage with strong potential for professional analysis, automated coaching, and real-time commentary. However, automatic tennis understanding remains underexplored due to two key challenges: (1) the lack of large-scale benchmarks with fine-grained annotations and expert-level commentary, and (2) the difficulty of building accurate yet efficient multimodal systems suitable for real-time deployment. To address these challenges, we introduce TennisVL, a large-scale tennis benchmark comprising over 200 professional matches (471.9 hours) and 40,000+ rally-level clips. Unlike existing commentary datasets that focus on descriptive play-by-play narration, TennisVL emphasizes expert analytical commentary capturing tactical reasoning, player decisions, and match momentum. Furthermore, we propose TennisExpert, a multimodal tennis understanding framework that integrates a video semantic parser with a memory-augmented model built on Qwen3-VL-8B. The parser extracts key match elements (e.g., scores, shot sequences, ball bounces, and player locations), while hierarchical memory modules capture both short- and long-term temporal context. Experiments show that TennisExpert consistently outperforms strong proprietary baselines, including GPT-5, Gemini, and Claude, and demonstrates improved ability to capture tactical context and match dynamics. Our dataset and code are publicly available at https://github.com/LZYAndy/TennisExpert.

Toward 6G Sidelink Reliability: MAC PRR Modeling for NR Mode 2 SPS and ns-3 Validation

5G New Radio (NR) Sidelink (SL) Mode 2 has enabled decentralized, infrastructure-less direct communications which is evolving to serve reliability-critical services in 6G SL. Particularly, the channel access in NR SL Mode 2 relies on the Sensing-based Semi-Persistent Scheduling (SPS) whose key features significantly influence the packet reception ratio (PRR). While SPS has been widely studied, existing analytical models typically abstract or omit several NR-specific SPS features that are standardized in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP), limiting their ability to explain how SPS parameters shape MAC collision dynamics and PRR. This paper develops an analytical MAC-layer PRR model for broadcast NR SL mode 2 by explicitly modeling SPS-driven MAC collision events. The model captures (i) Collisions caused by simultaneous resource reselection and (ii) Persistent collisions induced by resource keeping across resource reservation intervals (RRIs). Based on the event-level characterization, we derive closed-form expressions for the steady-state MAC collision probability and PRR. We further extend the analysis to incorporate under-explored SPS features, including the duplicate transmissions per RRI and the minimum resource-availability requirement for reselection, and quantify their impact on PRR in under-saturated regimes. The analytical results are validated using ns-3 simulations based on the 5G-LENA framework, showing close agreement under under-saturation and revealing deviations as the system approaches saturation. The proposed model provides mechanistic insight and design guidance of tuning the SPS parameters to improve 6G SL reliability.

Strain-tunable anomalous Hall effect in hexagonal MnTe

The ability to control and manipulate time-reversal ($T$) symmetry-breaking phases with near-zero net magnetization is a sought-after goal in spintronic devices. The recently discovered hexagonal altermagnet manganese telluride ($α$-MnTe) is a prime example. It has a compensated altermagnetic ground state where the magnetic moments are aligned in each layer and stacked antiparallel along the $c$ axis, yet it exhibits a spontaneous anomalous Hall effect (AHE) that breaks the $T$-symmetry with a vanishingly small $c$-axis ferromagnetic (FM) moment. However, the presence of three 120$^\circ$ separated in-plane magnetic domains presents a challenge in understanding the origin of the AHE and the effective control of the altermagnetic state. Here we use neutron scattering to show that symmetry breaking anisotropic strain, induced by compressive uniaxial pressure along the nearest-neighbor (NN) Mn-Mn bond directions, detwins $α$-MnTe into a single in-plane magnetic domain. This control over in-plane domains allows us to unambiguously establish that the in-plane moments are aligned along the NNN Mn-Mn bond direction, irrespective of the applied strain directions. Mounting the sample on a piezoelectric strain cell along both NN and NNN directions can drive the sample into a single-domain state that significantly sharpens the AHE hysteresis loop and extends the AHE to lower temperatures. Furthermore, tuning the uniaxial strain reverses the sign of the AHE near room temperature. Remarkably, this is achieved without altering the altermagnetic phase-transition temperature or substantially changing the small $c$-axis FM moment. Combined with our phenomenological model, we argue that these effects result from the modification of the electronic Berry curvature by a combination of both spin-orbit coupling and strain. Magnetic field-induced momentum-dependent symmetry breaking in a kagome superconductor

When multiple degrees of freedom share similar energy scales in quantum materials, intertwined electronic orders, which exhibit broken symmetries, are often strongly coupled. Recent studies on kagome superconductors such as CsV$_3$Sb$_5$ report rotational and time-reversal symmetry breaking linked to a charge density wave. Here, we observe a momentum-selective response of the electronic structure of CsV$_3$Sb$_5$ to an external magnetic field. By performing angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy in a tuneable magnetic field, we demonstrate that the response of the electronic structure is compatible with piezomagnetism along with strong orbital selectivity. Our results show that the origin of the time-reversal symmetry breaking is associated with the vanadium Van Hove singularities at the onset of the charge density wave order. We also demonstrate the presence of fluctuations beyond the charge ordering temperature. Our results reveal that magnetic fields can be used as tuning knobs for disentangling intertwined orders in the momentum space for quantum materials.

A Lightweight Coordinate-Conditioned Diffusion Approach for 6G C-V2X Radio Environment Maps

Transmitter vehicles that broadcast 6G Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X)-based messages, e.g., Basic Safety Messages (BSMs), are prone to be impacted by PHY issues due to the lack of dynamic high-fidelity Radio Environment Map (REM) with dynamic location variation. This paper explores a lightweight diffusion-based generative approach, the Coordinate-Conditioned Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Model (CCDDPM), that leverages the signal intensity-based 6G V2X Radio Environment Map (REM) from limited historical transmitter vehicles in a specific region, to predict the REMs for a transmitter vehicle with arbitrary coordinates across the same region. The transmitter vehicle coordinate is encoded as a smooth Gaussian prior and fused with the Gaussian noise through a lightweight two-channel conditional U-Net architecture. We demonstrate that the predicted REM closely matches the statistics and structure of ground-truth REM while exhibiting the improved stability and over other widely applied generative AI approaches. The resulting predictor enables rapid and scenario-consistent REM with arbitrary transmitter coordinates, which thereby supports more efficient 6G C-V2X communications where transmitter vehicles are less likely to suffer from the PHY issues.

Signatures of a Lifshitz transition in pressurized electron-doped cuprate

It is well known that the electronic structure of hole-doped cuprate superconductors is tunable through both chemical doping and external pressure, which frequently offer us new insights of understanding on the high-Tc superconducting mechanism. While, for electron-doped cuprate superconductors, although the chemical doping effects have been systematically and thoroughly investigated, there is still a notable lack of experimental evidence regarding the pressure-driven coevolution of Tc and electronic structure. In this study, we report the first observation on the signatures of pressure-induced Lifshitz transition in Pr0.87LaCe0.13CuO4+delta (PLCCO) single crystal, a typical electron-doped cuprate superconductor, through the comprehensive high-pressure measurements of electrical resistance, Hall coefficient (RH) and synchrotron X-ray diffraction (XRD). Our results reveal that, at 40 K, the ambient-pressure RH with a significantly negative value decreases with increasing pressure until it reaches zero at a critical pressure (Pc ~ 10 GPa). Meanwhile, the corresponding Tc exhibits a slight variation within this pressure range. As pressure is further increased beyond Pc, RH changes its sign from negative to positive and then shows a slight increase, while Tc displays a continuous decrease. Our XRD measurements at 40 K demonstrate that no crystal structure phase transition occurs across the Pc. These results reveal that applying pressure to PLCCO can induce a Lifshitz transition at Pc, manifesting the reconstruction of the Fermi surface (FS), which turns the superconductivity toward fading out. Our calculation further reinforces the Fermi surface reconstruction from electron-dominated to hole-dominated ones at around Pc. These findings provide new evidence that highlights the strong correlation between the superconductivity and the Fermi surface topology in the electron-doped cuprates.

Spin Excitations and Flat Electronic Bands in a Cr-based Kagome Superconductor

In the quest for topology- and correlation-driven quantum states, kagome lattice materials have garnered significant interest for their band structures, featuring flat bands (FBs) from the quantum destructive interference of the electronic wavefunction. Tuning an FB to the chemical potential could induce electronic instabilities and emergent orders. Despite extensive studies, direct evidence of FBs tuned to the chemical potential and their role in emergent orders in bulk materials remains lacking. Using angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, resonant inelastic X-ray scattering, and density functional theory, we show that the low-energy structure of the Cr-based kagome metal superconductor {\Cr} is dominated by FBs at the Fermi level. We also observe low-energy magnetic excitations evolving across the low-temperature transition, largely consistent with the FB shift. Our results suggest that the low-temperature order contains a magnetic origin and that the kagome FBs may play a role in the emergence of this order.

Few-Shot Precise Event Spotting via Unified Multi-Entity Graph and Distillation

Precise event spotting (PES) aims to recognize fine-grained events at exact moments and has become a key component of sports analytics. This task is particularly challenging due to rapid succession, motion blur, and subtle visual differences. Consequently, most existing methods rely on domain-specific, end-to-end training with large labeled datasets and often struggle in few-shot conditions due to their dependence on pixel- or pose-based inputs alone. However, obtaining large labeled datasets is practically hard. We propose a Unified Multi-Entity Graph Network (UMEG-Net) for few-shot PES. UMEG-Net integrates human skeletons and sport-specific object keypoints into a unified graph and features an efficient spatio-temporal extraction module based on advanced GCN and multi-scale temporal shift. To further enhance performance, we employ multimodal distillation to transfer knowledge from keypoint-based graphs to visual representations. Our approach achieves robust performance with limited labeled data and significantly outperforms baseline models in few-shot settings, providing a scalable and effective solution for few-shot PES. Code is publicly available at https://github.com/LZYAndy/UMEG-Net.

LLP-V2X: Low Latency-Power Vehicular Networking Towards 6G V2X

The trade-off between energy and latency budgets is becoming significant due to the more stringent QoS requirements in 6G vehicular networks. However, comprehensively studying the trade-off between energy and latency budgets for 6G vehicular network with new Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) features is still under-explored. This paper proposes a novel multi-hop, multi-path vehicular networking that jointly optimizes vehicular traffic splitting across candidate routes and per-link transmit power to achieve low-latency and low-power communications. Afterwards, we formalize two complementary problem formulations (minimum latency and minimum power) based on the proposed 6G V2X architecture and provide sufficient conditions. The performance of the proposed scheme is evaluated via well-designed simulations. Based on these theories, we design algorithm (LLP MHMP Scheduler) that switches on demand between a fixed-power minimum-latency mode and a fixed-latency minimum-power mode.
