Stability and Indecomposability of the Representations of Quivers of $A_n$-type

In his paper \cite{MR1}, Markus Reineke proposed a conjecture that there exists a stable weight system $Θ$ for every indecomposable representation of Dynkin type quiver. In this paper, we showed this conjecture is true for quivers of $A_n$-type by combinatorial construction of a special weight system. We also reinterpret this weight system in terms of semi-invariant theory.

On Base Change of Local Stability in Positive Characteristics

We prove that a pointed one dimensional family of varieties $\mathcal{X}\to {b\in B}$ in positive characteristics is locally stable iff the log pair $(\mathcal{X'}, \mathcal{X}'_{b'})$ arising from its base change to the perfectoid base $b'\in B_{perf}$ is log canonical.

The Hitchin--Kobayashi Correspondence for Quiver Bundles over Generalized Kähler Manifolds

In this paper, we establish the Hitchin--Kobayashi correspondence for the $I_\pm$-holomorphic quiver bundle $\mathcal{E}=(E,ϕ)$ over a compact generalized Kähler manifold $(X, I_+,I_-,g, b)$ such that $g$ is Gauduchon with respect to both $I_+$ and $I_-$, namely $\mathcal{E}$ is $(α,σ,τ)$-polystable if and only if $\mathcal{E}$ admits an $(α,σ,τ)$-Hermitian--Einstein metric.

Yang-Mills Theory and the ABC Conjecture

We establish a precise correspondence between the ABC Conjecture and N=4 super-Yang-Mills theory. This is achieved by combining three ingredients: (i) Elkies' method of mapping ABC-triples to elliptic curves in his demonstration that ABC implies Mordell/Faltings; (ii) an explicit pair of elliptic curve and associated Belyi map given by Khadjavi-Scharaschkin; and (iii) the fact that the bipartite brane-tiling/dimer model for a gauge theory with toric moduli space is a particular dessin d'enfant in the sense of Grothendieck. We explore this correspondence for the highest quality ABC-triples as well as large samples of random triples. The Conjecture itself is mapped to a statement about the fundamental domain of the toroidal compactification of the string realization of N=4 SYM.

Symplectic group and Heisenberg group in p-adic quantum mechanics

This paper treats mathematically some problems in p-adic quantum mechanics. We first deal with p-adic symplectic group corresponding to the symmetry on the classical phase space. By the filtrations of isotropic subspaces and almost self-dual lattices in the p-adic symplectic vector space, we explicitly give the expressions of parabolic subgroups, maximal compact subgroups and corresponding Iwasawa decompositions of some symplectic groups. For a triple of Lagrangian subspaces, we associated it with a quadratic form whose Hasse invariant is calculated. Next we study the various equivalent realizations of unique irreducible and admissible representation of p-adic Heisenberg group. For the Schrodinger representation, we can define Weyl operator and its kernel function, while for the induced representations from the characters of maximal abelian subgroups of Heisenberg group generated by the isotropic subspaces or self-dual lattice in the p-adic symplectic vector space, we calculate the Maslov index defined via the intertwining operators corresponding to the representation transformation operators in quantum mechanics.

Degenerate and Stable Yang-Mills-Higgs Pairs

In this paper, we introduce some notions on the pair consisting of a Chern connection and a Higgs field closely related to the first and second variation of Yang-Mills- Higgs functional, such as strong Yang-Mills-Higgs pair, degenerate Yang-Mills-Higgs pair, stable Yang-Mills-Higgs pair. We investigate some properties of such pairs.

Injectivity w.r.t. Distribution of Elements in the Compressed Sequences Derived from Primitive Sequences over $Z/p^eZ$

Let $p\geq3$ be a prime and $e\geq2$ an integer. Let $σ(x)$ be a primitive polynomial of degree $n$ over $Z/p^eZ$ and $G'(σ(x),p^e)$ the set of primitive linear recurring sequences generated by $σ(x)$. A compressing map $φ$ on $Z/p^eZ$ naturally induces a map $\hatφ$ on $G'(σ(x),p^e)$. For a subset $D$ of the image of $φ$,$\hatφ$ is called to be injective w.r.t. $D$-uniformity if the distribution of elements of $D$ in the compressed sequence implies all information of the original primitive sequence. In this correspondence, for at least $1-2(p-1)/(p^n-1)$ of primitive polynomials of degree $n$, a clear criterion on $φ$ is obtained to decide whether $\hatφ$ is injective w.r.t. $D$-uniformity, and the majority of maps on $Z/p^eZ$ induce injective maps on $G'(σ(x),p^e)$. Furthermore, a sufficient condition on $φ$ is given to ensure injectivity of $\hatφ$ w.r.t. $D$-uniformity. It follows from the sufficient condition that if $σ(x)$ is strongly primitive and the compressing map $φ(x)=f(x_{e-1})$, where $f(x_{e-1})$ is a permutation polynomial over $\mathbb{F}_{p}$, then $\hatφ$ is injective w.r.t. $D$-uniformity for $\emptyset\neq D\subset\mathbb{F}_{p}$. Moreover, we give three specific families of compressing maps which induce injective maps on $G'(σ(x),p^e)$.

Two-Parameter Dynamics and Geometry

In this paper we present the two-parameter dynamics which is implied by the law of inertia in flat spacetime. A remarkable perception is that (A)dS4 geometry may emerge from the two-parameter dynamics, which exhibits some phenomenon of dynamics/ geometry correspondence. We also discuss the Unruh effects within the context of two-parameter dynamics. In the last section we construct various invariant actions with respect to the broken symmetry groups.
