Multiplicity dependence of f$_0$(980) production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV

The dependence of $\mathrm{f}_{0}$(980) production on the final-state charged-particle multiplicity is reported for proton-proton (pp) collisions at the centre-of-mass energy, $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV. The production of $\mathrm{f}_{0}$(980) is measured with the ALICE detector via the $\mathrm{f}_0 (980) \rightarrow π^{+}π^{-}$ decay channel in a midrapidity region of $|y|<0.5$. The evolution of the integrated yields and mean transverse momentum of f$_{0}$(980) as a function of charged-particle multiplicity measured in pp at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV follows the trends observed in pp at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV and in proton-lead (p-Pb) collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV. Particle yield ratios of $\mathrm{f}_{0}$(980) to $π^{\pm}$ and $\mathrm{K}^{*}$(892)$^{0}$ are found to decrease with increasing charged-particle multiplicity. These particle ratios are compared with calculations from the canonical statistical thermal model as a function of charged-particle multiplicity. The thermal model calculations provide a better description of the decreasing trend of particle ratios when no strange or antistrange quark composition for f$_{0}$(980) is assumed, which suggests that the data do not support significant hidden strangeness in the f$_{0}$(980).

$Σ^{+}$ production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV

The measurement of $Σ^{+}$ production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV is presented. The measurement is performed at midrapidity in both minimum-bias and high-multiplicity pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=13$ TeV. The $Σ^{+}$ is reconstructed via its weak-decay topology in the decay channel $Σ^{+} \rightarrow \rm{p} + π^{0}$ with $π^{0} \rightarrow γ+ γ$. In a novel approach, the neutral pion is reconstructed by combining photons that convert in the detector material with photons measured in the calorimeters. The transverse-momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) distributions of the $Σ^{+}$ and its rapidity densities ${\rm d}N$/${\rm d}y$ in both event classes are reported. The $p_{\rm T}$ spectrum in minimum-bias collisions is compared to QCD-inspired event generators. The ratio of $Σ^{+}$ to previously measured $Λ$ baryons is in good agreement with calculations from the Statistical Hadronization Model. The high efficiency and purity of the novel reconstruction method for $Σ^{+}$ presented here will enable future studies of the interaction of $Σ^{+}$ with protons in the context of femtoscopic measurements, which could be crucial for understanding the equation of state of neutron stars.

Dielectron production in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV

The first measurements of dielectron production at midrapidity ($|η_{\rm e}|<0.8$) in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ = 5.02 TeV at the LHC are presented. The dielectron cross section is measured with the ALICE detector as a function of the invariant mass $m_{\rm{ee}}$ and the pair transverse momentum $p_{\rm{T,ee}}$ in the ranges $m_{\rm{ee}}$ < 3.5 GeV/$c^{2}$ and $p_{\rm{T,ee}}$ < 8.0 GeV/$c^{2}$, in both collision systems. In proton-proton collisions, the charm and beauty cross sections are determined at midrapidity from a fit to the data with two different event generators. This complements the existing dielectron measurements performed at $\sqrt{s}$ = 7 and 13 TeV. The slope of the $\sqrt{s}$ dependence of the three measurements is described by FONLL calculations. The dielectron cross section measured in proton-lead collisions is in agreement, within the current precision, with the expected dielectron production without any nuclear matter effects for $\rm{e}^{+}\rm{e}^{-}$ pairs from open heavy-flavor hadron decays. For the first time at LHC energies, the dielectron production in proton-lead and proton-proton collisions are directly compared at the same $\sqrt{s_{\rm{NN}}}$ via the dielectron nuclear modification factor $R_{\rm{pPb}}$. The measurements are compared to model calculations including cold nuclear matter effects, or additional sources of dielectrons from thermal radiation.

Inclusive and multiplicity-dependent pseudorapidity densities of charged particles in pp collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s} = 13.6}$ TeV

The distribution of the pseudorapidity density of primary charged particles (${\rm d}N_{\rm ch}/ {\rm d}η$) in $|η|<1.5$ is measured in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13.6 TeV using the ALICE detector. Tracks are reconstructed with the upgraded Inner Tracking System and Time Projection Chamber, and results are reported for the INEL$>$0 event class (events having at least one charged particle in $|η|<1$). The multiplicity dependence of the pseudorapidity density of charged particles is also explored with the multiplicity determined by the forward detectors. The average charged-particle pseudorapidity density at midrapidity ($|η|<0.5$) is measured to be $\langle \mathrm{d}N_{\mathrm{ch}}/\mathrm{d}η\rangle = 7.10 \pm 0.18$. Combined with lower-energy measurements, the INEL$>$0 results follow a power-law scaling with the center-of-mass energy. These measurements provide a new reference for charged-particle production at the highest proton$-$proton collision energy available at the LHC.

Measurement of correlations among net-charge, net-proton, and net-kaon multiplicity distributions in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\text{NN}}=5.02$ TeV

Correlations among conserved quantum numbers, such as the net-electric charge, the net-baryon, and the net-strangeness in heavy-ion collisions, are crucial for exploring the QCD phase diagram. In this paper, these correlations are investigated using net-proton number (as a proxy for the net-baryon), net-kaon number (for the net-strangeness), and net-charged particle number in Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\text{NN}}=5.02$ TeV with the ALICE detector. The observed correlations deviate from the Poissonian baseline, with a more pronounced deviation at LHC energies than at RHIC. Theoretical calculations of the Thermal-FIST hadron resonance gas model, HIJING, and EPOS LHC event generators are compared with experimental results, where a significant impact of resonance decays is observed. Thermal-FIST calculations under the grand canonical and canonical ensembles highlight significant differences, underscoring the role of local charge conservation in explaining the data. Recent lattice QCD studies have demonstrated that the magnetic field generated by spectator protons in heavy-ion collisions affects susceptibility ratios, in particular those related to the net-electric charge and the net-baryon numbers. The experimental findings are in qualitative agreement with the expectations of lattice QCD.

Study of $\langle p_{\rm T} \rangle$ and its higher moments, and extraction of the speed of sound in Pb-Pb collisions with ALICE

Ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions produce a state of hot and dense strongly interacting QCD matter called quark--gluon plasma (QGP). On an event-by-event basis, the volume of the QGP in ultracentral collisions is mostly constant, while its total entropy can vary significantly due to quantum fluctuations, leading to variations in the temperature of the system. Exploiting this unique feature of ultracentral collisions allows for the interpretation of the correlation of the mean transverse momentum of produced charged hadrons and the number of charged hadrons as a measure for the speed of sound. It is determined by fitting the relative increase in transverse momentum with respect to the relative change in the average charged-particle density measured at midrapidity. This study reports the event-average transverse momentum of charged particles as well as the self-normalized variance, skewness, and kurtosis of the event-by-event transverse momentum distribution in ultracentral Pb-Pb collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair using the ALICE detector. Different centrality estimators based on charged-particle multiplicity or the transverse energy of the event are used to select ultracentral collisions. By ensuring a pseudorapidity gap between the region used to define the centrality and the region used to perform the measurement, the influence of biases on the rise of the mean transverse momentum is tested. The measured values are found to strongly depend on the exploited centrality estimator. The variance shows a steep decrease towards ultracentral collisions, while the skewness variables show a maximum, followed by a fast decrease. These non-Gaussian features are understood in terms of the vanishing of the impact-parameter fluctuations contributing to the event-to-event transverse momentum distribution.

Multiplicity dependence of $Ξ_c^+$ and $Ξ_c^0$ production in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV

The first measurement at midrapidity ($|y| < 0.5$) of the production yield of the strange-charm baryons $Ξ_c^+$ and $Ξ_c^0$ as a function of transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T}$) in different charged-particle multiplicity classes in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV with the ALICE experiment at the LHC is reported. The $Ξ_c^+$ baryon is reconstructed via the $Ξ_c^+ \rightarrow Ξ^-π^+π^+$ decay channel in the range $4 < p_{\rm T} < 12$ GeV/$c$, while the $Ξ_c^0$ baryon is reconstructed via both the $Ξ_c^0 \rightarrow Ξ^-π^+$ and $Ξ_c^0 \rightarrow Ξ^-e^+ν_e$ decay channels in the range $2 < p_{\rm T} < 12$ GeV/$c$. The baryon-to-meson ($Ξ_c^{0,+}/{\rm D}^0$) and the baryon-to-baryon ($Ξ_c^{0,+}/Λ_{\rm c}^+$) production yield ratios show no significant dependence on multiplicity. In addition, the observed yield ratios are not described by theoretical predictions that model charm-quark fragmentation based on measurements at $e^+e^-$ and $e^-$p colliders, indicating differences in the charm-baryon production mechanism in pp collisions. A comparison with different event generators and tunings, including different modelling of the hadronisation process, is also discussed. Moreover, the branching-fraction ratio of BR($Ξ_c^0 \rightarrow Ξ^-e^+ν_e$)/BR($Ξ_c^0 \rightarrow Ξ^-π^+$) is measured as 0.825 $\pm$ 0.094 (stat.) $\pm$ 0.081 (syst.). This value supersedes the previous ALICE measurement, improving the statistical precision by a factor of 1.6.

Femtoscopic study of the proton-proton and proton-deuteron systems in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC

This work reports femtoscopic correlations of p$-$p ($\bar{\rm p}-\bar{\rm p}$) and p$-$d ($\bar{\rm p}-\bar{\rm d}$) pairs measured in Pb$-$Pb collisions at center-of-mass energy per nucleon $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV in the ALICE Collaboration. A fit to the measured proton-proton correlation functions allows one to extract the dependence of the nucleon femtoscopic radius of the particle-emitting source on the pair transverse mass ($m_\text{T}$) and on the average charge particle multiplicity $\langle\text{dN}_\text{ch}/\text{d}η\rangle^{1/3}$ for three centrality intervals (0$-$10$\%$, 10$-$30$\%$, 30$-$50$\%$). In both cases, the expected power-law and linear scalings are observed, respectively. The measured p$-$d correlations can be described by both two- and three-body calculations, indicating that the femtoscopy observable is not sensitive to the short-distance features of the dynamics of the p$-$(p$-$n) system, due to the large inter-particle distances in Pb$-$Pb collisions at the LHC. Indeed, in this study, the minimum measured femtoscopic source sizes for protons and deuterons have a minimum value at $2.73^{+0.05}_{-0.05}$ and $3.10^{+1.04}_{-0.86}$ fm, respectively, for the 30$-$50$\%$ centrality collisions. Moreover, the $m_{\rm{T}}$-scaling obtained for the p$-$p and p$-$d systems is compatible within 1$σ$ of the uncertainties. These findings provide new input for fundamental studies on the production of light (anti)nuclei under extreme conditions.

Coherent J/$ψ$ photoproduction at midrapidity in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV

The coherent J/$ψ$ photoproduction cross section is measured for the first time at midrapidity in peripheral to semicentral Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV. The centrality differential cross section ${\rm d} σ/ {\rm d}y$ is reported for the centrality range 40-90%, together with the doubly-differential cross section ${\rm d}^2 σ/{\rm d}y {\rm d} p_{\rm T}$, extracted in two peripheral centrality classes. The J/$ψ$ mesons are reconstructed in the dielectron channel, in the rapidity interval $|y| < 0.9$ using the ALICE central barrel detectors. The J/$ψ$ cross section at midrapidity is statistically compatible to the earlier ALICE measurement at forward rapidity and at the same centre-of-mass energy, and shows only a mild centrality dependence over the covered range. Several sets of theoretical calculations taking into account the hadronic overlap in the collisions but ignoring possible final-state effects from a hot expanding medium are found to give a fairly good description of the current measurements within uncertainties.

Exclusive four pion photoproduction in ultraperipheral Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV

The intense photon fluxes from relativistic nuclei provide an opportunity to study photonuclear interactions in ultraperipheral collisions. In particular, it allows for the investigations of excited, light-flavour vector mesons. The measurement of coherently photoproduced $ π^+ π^- π^+ π^-$ final states in ultraperipheral Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV is presented for the first time. The cross section, d$σ$/d$y$, times the branching ratio ($ρ\rightarrow π^+ π^+ π^- π^-$) is found to be $47.8\pm2.3~\rm{(stat.)}\pm7.7~\rm{(syst.)}$ mb in the rapidity interval $|y| < 0.5$. The invariant mass distribution is not well described with a single Breit-Wigner resonance without an interference term. Including interference with a non-resonant contribution results in the mass and width values being too far from those reported in PDG, while the production of two interfering resonances, $ρ(1450)$ and $ρ(1700)$, also provides a good description of the data. The values of the masses ($m$) and widths ($Γ$) of the resonances extracted from the fit assuming two interfering resonances are $m_{1}=1385\pm14~\rm{(stat.)}\pm3~\rm{(syst.)}$ MeV/$c^2$, $Γ_{1}=431\pm36~\rm{(stat.)}\pm82~\rm{(syst.)}$ MeV/$c^2$, $m_{2}=1663\pm13~\rm{(stat.)}\pm22~\rm{(syst.)}$ MeV/$c^2$ and $Γ_{2}=357~\pm31~\rm{(stat.)}\pm49~\rm{(syst.)}$ MeV/$c^2$, respectively. The measured cross sections times the branching ratios are compared to recent theoretical predictions.

Accessing the deuteron source with pion-deuteron femtoscopy in Pb-Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV

Femtoscopy of non-identical particle pairs has been instrumental for precision measurements of both two-particle sources and the final-state interactions in high-energy elementary and heavy-ion collisions. The majority of measurements assessing the source properties are based on identical particle pairs, providing direct access to the characteristics of the single-particle source. The work in this paper demonstrates, via femtoscopy measurements of charged pion--deuteron pairs in Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\rm NN}} = 5.02$ TeV, the feasibility of accessing the characteristics of the single-particle femtoscopic source by using particle pairs with large mass differences such as pions and deuterons. The first experimental results of the measurement of deuteron source sizes in ultrarelativistic heavy-ion collisions are presented. The results show good agreement with the trend derived from other charged hadrons such as pions, kaons, and protons as a function of transverse mass, indicating similar source properties.

D$^{0}$-meson-tagged jet axes difference in proton-proton collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{\textit{s}} = 5.02}$ TeV

Heavy-flavor quarks produced in proton--proton (pp) collisions provide a unique opportunity to investigate the evolution of quark-initiated parton showers from initial hard scatterings to final-state hadrons. By examining jets that contain heavy-flavor hadrons, this study explores the effects of both perturbative and non-perturbative QCD on jet formation and structure. The angular differences between various jet axes, $ΔR_{\rm axis}$, offer insight into the radiation patterns and fragmentation of charm quarks. The first measurement of D$^{0}$-tagged jet axes differences in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}=5.02$ TeV by the ALICE experiment at the LHC is presented for jets with transverse momentum $p_{\rm T}^{\rm ch~jet} \geq 10$ ${\rm GeV}/c$ and D$^0$ mesons with $p_{\rm T}^{\rm D^{0}} \geq 5$ ${\rm GeV}/c$. In this D$^0$-meson-tagged jet measurement, three jet axis definitions, each with different sensitivities to soft, wide-angle radiation, are used: the Standard axis, Soft Drop groomed axis, and Winner-Takes-All axis. Measurements of the radial distributions of D$^0$ mesons with respect to the jet axes, $ΔR_{\mathrm{axis-D^0}}$, are reported, along with the angle, $ΔR_{\mathrm{axis}}$, between the three jet axes. The D$^{0}$ meson emerges as the leading particle in these jets, closely aligning with the Winner-Takes-All axis and diverging from the Standard jet axis. The results also examine how varying the sensitivity to soft radiation with grooming influences the orientation of the Soft Drop jet axis, and uncover that charm-jet structure is more likely to survive grooming when the Soft Drop axis is further from the D$^{0}$ direction, providing further evidence of the dead-cone effect recently measured by ALICE.

Dielectron production in central Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_\mathrm{NN}}$ = 5.02 TeV

The first measurement of the e$^+$e$^-$ pair production at midrapidity and low invariant mass in central Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV at the LHC is presented. The yield of e$^+$e$^-$ pairs is compared with a cocktail of expected hadronic decay contributions in the invariant mass ($m_{\rm ee}$) and pair transverse momentum ($p_{\rm T,ee}$) ranges $m_{\rm ee} < 3.5$ GeV$/c^2$ and $p_{\rm T,ee} < 8$ GeV$/c$. For $0.18 < m_{\rm ee} < 0.5$ GeV$/c^2$ the ratio of data to the cocktail of hadronic contributions amounts to $1.40 \pm 0.11 \ ({\rm stat.}) \pm 0.23 \ ({\rm syst.}) \pm 0.16 \ ({\rm cocktail})$ and $1.42 \pm 0.11 \ ({\rm stat.}) \pm 0.23 \ ({\rm syst.}) ^{+0.24}_{-0.29} \ ({\rm cocktail})$, including or not including medium effects in the estimation of the heavy-flavor background, respectively. It is consistent with predictions from two different models for an additional contribution of thermal e$^+$e$^-$ pairs from the hadronic and partonic phases. In the intermediate-mass range ($1.2 < m_{\rm ee} < 2.6$ GeV$/c^2$), the pair transverse impact parameter of the e$^+$e$^-$ pairs (DCA$_{\rm ee}$) is used for the first time in Pb$-$Pb collisions to separate displaced dielectrons from heavy-flavor hadron decays from a possible (thermal) contribution produced at the interaction point. The data are consistent with a suppression of e$^+$e$^-$ pairs from ${\rm c\overline{c}}$ and an additional prompt component. Finally, the first direct-photon measurement in the 10\% most central Pb$-$Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{\mathrm{NN}}}=5.02$ TeV is reported via the study of virtual direct photons in the transverse momentum range $1 < p_{\rm T} < 5$ GeV$/c$. A model including prompt photons, as well as photons from the pre-equilibrium and fluid-dynamic phases, can reproduce the result, while being at the upper edge of the data uncertainties.

Investigating the p-$π^{\pm}$ and p-p-$π^{\pm}$ dynamics with femtoscopy in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV

The interaction between pions and nucleons plays a crucial role in hadron physics. It represents a fundamental building block of the low-energy QCD dynamics and is subject to several resonance excitations. This work studies the p-$π^{\pm}$ dynamics using femtoscopic correlations in high-multiplicity pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV measured by ALICE at the LHC. As the final-state interaction between protons and pions is well constrained by scattering experiments and the study of pionic hydrogen, the results give access to information on the particle-emitting source in pp collisions using the femtoscopy methods. The scaling of the source size of primordial protons and pions against their pair transverse mass is extracted. The results are compared with the source sizes studied with p$-$p, $\text{p--K}^+$, and $π^{\pm}$-$π^{\pm}$ pairs by ALICE in the same collision system and are found to be in agreement for the different particle pairs. This reinforces recent findings by ALICE of a common emission source for all hadron-pairs in pp collisions at LHC energies. Furthermore, the p-p-$π^{\pm}$ systems are studied using three-particle femtoscopy in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV. The presence of three-body effects is analyzed utilizing the cumulant expansion method. In this formalism, the known two-body interactions are subtracted in order to isolate the three-body effects. For both, p-p-$π^{+}$ and p-p-$π^{-}$, a non-zero cumulant is found, indicating effects beyond pairwise interactions. These results give information on the coupling of the pion to multiple nucleons.

Multiplicity-dependent inclusive J/$ψ$ production at forward rapidity in pp collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s} = 13}$ TeV

This paper presents a study of the inclusive forward $J/ψ$ yield as a function of forward charged-particle multiplicity in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} =13$ TeV using data collected by the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC. The results are presented in terms of relative $J/ψ$ yields and relative charged-particle multiplicities with respect to these quantities obtained in inelastic collisions having at least one charged particle in the pseudorapidity range $|η| < 1$. The $J/ψ$ mesons are reconstructed via their decay into $μ^+ μ^-$ pairs in the forward rapidity region ($2.5 < y < 4$). The relative multiplicity is estimated in the forward pseudorapidity range which overlaps with the $J/ψ$ rapidity region. The results show a steeper-than-linear increase of the $J/ψ$ yields versus the multiplicity. They are compared with previous measurements and theoretical model calculations.

Light neutral-meson production in pp collisions at $\mathbf{\sqrt{s}}$ = 13 TeV

The momentum-differential invariant cross sections of ${π^{0}}$ and $η$ mesons are reported for pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV at midrapidity ($|y|<0.8$). The measurement is performed in a broad transverse-momentum range of $0.2<p_{\rm T}<200$ GeV/$c$ and $0.4 < p_{\rm T} < 60$ GeV/$c$ for the ${π^{0}}$ and $η$, respectively, extending the $p_{\rm T}$ coverage of previous measurements. Transverse-mass-scaling violation of up to 60% at low transverse momentum has been observed, agreeing with measurements at lower collision energies. Transverse Bjorken $x$ ($x_{\rm T}$) scaling of the ${π^{0}}$ cross sections at LHC energies is fulfilled with a power-law exponent of $n = 5.01 \pm 0.05$, consistent with values obtained for charged pions at similar collision energies. The data are compared to predictions from next-to-leading order perturbative QCD calculations, where the ${π^{0}}$ spectrum is best described using the CT18 parton distribution function and the NNFF1.0 or BDSS fragmentation function. Expectations from PYTHIA8 and EPOS LHC overestimate the spectrum for the ${π^{0}}$ and are not able to describe the shape and magnitude of the $η$ spectrum. The charged-particle multiplicity dependent ${π^{0}}$ and $η$ $p_{\rm T}$ spectra show the expected change of the spectral shape, characterized by a flatter slope with increasing multiplicity. This is demonstrated across a broad transverse-momentum range and up to events with a charged-particle multiplicity exceeding five times the mean value in minimum bias collisions. The $η/π^{0}$ ratio depends on the charged-particle multiplicity for $ p_{\rm T} < 4$ GeV/$c$. PYTHIA8 and EPOS LHC qualitatively explain this behavior with an increasing contribution from the feed-down of heavier particles to the ${π^{0}}$ spectrum.

Exploring nuclear structure with multiparticle azimuthal correlations at the LHC

Details of the nuclear structure of $^{\rm 129}$Xe, such as the quadrupole deformation and the nuclear diffuseness, are studied by extensive measurements of anisotropic-flow-related observables in Xe--Xe collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair $\sqrt{s_{_{\mathrm{NN}}}}~=~5.44$ TeV with the ALICE detector at the LHC. The results are compared with those from Pb--Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{_{\mathrm{NN}}}}~=~5.02$ TeV for a baseline, given that the $^{\rm 208}$Pb nucleus exhibits a very weak deformation. Furthermore, comprehensive comparisons are performed with a state-of-the-art hybrid model using IP-Glasma+MUSIC+UrQMD. It is found that among various IP-Glasma+MUSIC+UrQMD calculations with different values of nuclear parameters, the one using a nuclear diffuseness parameter of $a_0=0.492$ and a nuclear quadrupole deformation parameter of $β_2=0.207$ provides a better description of the presented flow measurements. These studies represent the first systematic exploration of nuclear structure at TeV energies, utilizing a comprehensive set of anisotropic flow observables. The measurements serve as a critical experimental benchmark for rigorously testing the interplay between nuclear structure inputs and heavy-ion theoretical models.
